 Stayed here for 4 nights thanks to peter the owner being very helpful, he explained that the toilets were not being used that was fine with us,
It is quite basic but peter does explain this before you book,
Beautiful location

“What’s not to like?” and “How can you improve upon perfection?” spring to mind!
Manor Farm is a Certificated Site (CS), recommended by the Camping and Caravanning Club. The club themselves use the large meadow twice a year for very popular rallies. My husband and I have regularly rallied at Manor Farm since July 1993; but for the first time this year we stayed on the CS itself.
Right in the heart of Burton Bradstock, this amazing, popular little site is easily accessible. It’s perfect location, very close to beautiful beaches, is set within wonderful countryside and has numerous amenities close by. Although not strictly on site, the bus stop and two lovely Inns are literally on it's doorstep and a well stocked shop only five minutes walk.
Peter, the proprietor, personally supervises and maintains the site and it’s facilities. He is regularly seen around the site as he works about it (as well as on the rest of his land), ensuring it’s smooth running and upkeep. Peter, along with his wife Pauline are extremely accommodating. They look after their residents in an easy, helpful, informative and friendly manner, whilst not being in any way intrusive; and remain professional at all times.
Indeed, it is only during the last decade that Peter and Pauline have been residents themselves and they quickly recognised and responded to the obvious demand for touring accommodation within the area; and created the CS.
My understanding is that the toilet and shower facilities are in the process of being updated. We did not have a need to use them but have noted their availability for future reference. Meanwhile, my rating reflects the essential facilities, being the provision of fresh water, chemical and rubbish disposal. Anything else is a bonus, especially considering the excellent rates.
It is worth noting that during these unprecedented times, it was extremely reassuring that all Covid 19 safety rules and precautions were in place and strictly adhered to. During our 8 night stay, my husband and I felt safe and secure, ensuring a wonderful relaxing break!
Manor Farm Camping Site is quite simply a “little gem”!
