We arrived late on Friday and shown to our pitch, with a warm welcome and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. This is a very quiet site with about 20 touring pitches facing the river.
Canal barges slowly pass by which is so relaxing to watch, we even saw horses & hounds on the river bank on Saturday morning. We recommend the Anchor pub for lovely food which is 3 minutes by car, and the Thai Gallery restaurant in Worcester, about 10 minutes by car.
We don't use facilities apart from the waste, so this suited us. There are also pubs, co-op and chippy within walking distance.
A gem of a find and we will be returning very soon and often

Really enjoyed our stay at the Ketch. I can see why you have to get permission for an additional car on the site as there is not a lot of room around the pitches.
Ample for your unit, car and awning but not another car. Received a warm welcome from the owners, friendly and happy to show us to our pitches.
Plenty of information was available and had an excellent weekend in Worcester. Across the roundabout on a Sunday is a carboot. Found Worcester to be good with plenty of shopping, great pubs and a wide choice for food.
The site is close to the river and like a previous poster said, be very careful if you have children. (there were plenty of children there though).
Found the site amenities to be good and very well cleaned every day.
Nice views from the caravan and we not too bothered by the busy traffic across the bridge.
We'll be back again next year. Thanks to the lady and gentleman at the Ketch.

The site is ok, level well grassed pitches, toilets/showers clean, tariff not cheap yet showers 20p slots seemed mean. Alas there was too much traffic noise overnight for me, light sleepers should take earplugs.
The chemical toilet waste facility works but is poorly designed & lacks flush. Neat & simple alternative is a standard WC, with a tap/short hose alongside. I would like a hand-wash nearby as well.
Cannot comment on the local walk-to chain pubs, both turned me away for having a canine companion. We went into Worcester for a genuine warm welcome at the Diglis House Hotel instead.
Note riverside walk to town is wooded and muddy in places plus uneven/nettles & I wouldn’t feel confident doing it at night with a few beers onboard (I am experienced at offroad/ rural nocturnal walking).

Best site for the area good price as long as it stays a good value site it will be constantly full
Been going there know for three years or moor and the price has started to gradually go up if this carries on people will move on to other sites as there will be no gain
The fishing is free but it dose not fish very well and nobody can say why
Not a site for children as there is no where for them to play

We stayed here for a couple of nights to break up our journey from Bristol. It was quite a surprise as didn't see much advertised about it so was pleasantly surprised, it was so quiet and peaceful even with the road so close,
all tourers overlooked the river with lovely walks along side the showers cost 20p but had enough time to have a good wash, would have liked liquid soap at the sinks instead of tablet,
the owner was very pleasant and helpful.
Two pubs within walking distance and a supermarket 2 mins drive away.
We will definitely be going there again

Stayed here over the Easter weekend this was our first time with a touring caravan. There are mainly statics, but the tourers are facing the river a lovely view.
We booked into reception and were greeted by friendly faces which was very reassuring. You can walk into Worcester along the river in about 45 mins.
The shower and toilet facilities were immaculate and spotlessly clean. There is a Toby carvery and harvester pub very close by. The site does allow dogs, which was good for us as we have a dog. The only thing we couldn't find were any dog waste bins.
Other than that we had a great weekend.

Loved it on the site. Its lovely and quiet which made it really relaxing for us to stay.
The owners were very polite and made us feel welcome. The toilets were spotless and very organised with air freshners and soaps. Cant wait to go back.
Would certainly recommend it to everyone as it suits everyone's tastes as it has something to please everybody.

We stayed at The Ketch Caravan Site enjoying the lovely location,
The manager is very helpful & friendly the showers & toilet blocks are dated but plenty of toilets & showers as said in other reviews 20p for a shower which gave you plenty time to wash your hair & shower.
The people in the static caravans were very friendly.
We would recommend staying at the Ketch Caravan site to anyone,
On the site there is river fishing just by the entrance two good Pubs both serving Breakfast one that does carvery's.

Unit is a 5th wheeler. Visited here for a week at the end of April. Fabulous location right next to the river Severn. You can walk along the river bank into Worcester.
Statics as well as touring pitches but they are separate. Facilities were OK when we were there as it was not busy, but could be different with more people as there were only two showers per gender, and no washing up or laundry facilities.
This did not bother us. The weather was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

Please please do not take children to this site, it is to close to the river. They would not be safe as there is a very step bank and your pitch is very close. Also the site toilet block is old and dated, when we stayed it did not have any hand washing soap in the ladies or the men's and one of the other guests said that they do not believe in putting soap in the toilets. Generally the site was a bit run down. There is traffic noise even at night.
