This is a lovely site on the banks of the river with easy access into worcester either by car, walking along the river or cycling. The pitches are of good size, only 10 amp electric though so care needed not to overload. The showers were 20p ample time but not overly hot. Friendly staff so all in all a good site and would definitely visit again as not far from the motorway for a night stop.

Pitch was level overlooking the river, and we were welcomed by owners even though we were a little later than anticipated due to traffic. 20p for a shower gives plenty of time and the water is red hot, toilets clean. Close to a couple of pubs, we used the Toby for breakfast and evening meal which was very nice, and great value for money. Bus stop very convenient to site and just £1. 50 each to go into Worcester town centre, which is well worth a visit.

The owners even let us leave our car in their car park after checking out so we could go a good bike ride,

And collect our car later,

Would definitely use again when in the area.

We stayed here for one night with a touring caravan and a one man tent. Two of my sons were cycling LEJOG. The site is not far from Junction 7 on the M5. Good caravan friendly roads and easy access from A38. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who gave us a choice of pitches. The view from our pitch overlooking the river was very nice. The toilets and showers (20p)are a couple of minutes walk and were clean and tidy. A key was supplied for the facilities. There is a pub carvery next door but we did not use it. I did not see anything to amuse children. I would like to visit this site again with my wife.

The location of this site is the main attraction. It is overlooking the Severn and also is very accessible for the city centre. We did not walk along the river as we were told by our neighbour that it was too boggy in parts so we got the bus which was easy enough and also we cycled there. The price was very reasonable and the showers were not push button which was good and there was lots of hot water for 20p. The local Toby Inn and the local Harvester were both good value. We could almost see our caravan from the balcony of the Toby Inn. Just one negative : the chemical disposal point was a bit unusual as I couldn't find where to flush it (was it me?) and also there was no hose there to clean out the cassette.

This was our first visit to this site and certainly will not be our last. What a lovely site. All tourers face the river which is very pretty.

You are only a short distance from Worcester - you can even walk there about 40 minutes along the river

You are central to all other areas evesham, malverns, etc.

There are plenty of dog walks, which was a real bonus.

Toby carvery and harvester within walking distance, we went to the harvester and had a fabulous meal and a real bargain too, great offers.

The toilet block was spotless, the site is well looked after.

Everyone including warden and his wife were really lovely and very friendly.

Looking forward to our next visit.

Been coming here on and off for four years now and agree with all the complimentary reviews so will just add a few not recently commented on. We paid £15/night for two with ehu which I would regard as good value for the time of year. Besides being easy to walk into Worcester via the river footpath, there is a frequent bus service from the bus stop just after the roundabout after Homebase. There is a large car boot sale nearly opposite the Toby carvery every Sunday. On my last visit real ale was served at both the nearby pubs which is unusual for these large chain eating pubs.

Really enjoyed our 1 night stay at The ketch. They were so helpful as this was the first time out in our new caravan. The pitch was right on the river side and despite the wind and the rain we had a great time. The toilet block was acceptable and access was via a hired key. Both the local pubs were nice and only a five minute walk. We will be back soon as it is only 35 minutes from our home so its the perfect place to have a weekend away.

It has been 2 years since our last visit and nothing has changed with the exception of the wardens who are much more relaxed in there approach to running the site. Toilets are clean and tidy 20p for a shower still would, nt be tempted to take small children to site given proximity to river, but what a view to wake up too. With 2 pubs in walking distance, Tesco's a chippy and chinese take away just down the road what more do you want.

Great walk into Worcester along the river bank where you will find virtually everything you could want to enjoy your stay.

This is an old review (before the bridge) mid 70's/80's we had a caravan here for years. First caravan right on the front. ! oh what fun we had. Rowing, swimming, sports. You name it we did it. ! it was a great site the owner's then were Gordon and Jean smith. I remember when October came and the caravans went up on the cat park behind us. And off again in march (river permitting). Those were the days.

We (me and my husband) visited early this year oh what a change. ! for the better well that depends. Nice clean toilets all good facilities very close by. I remember going to the paper shop along the river on my bike to cherry orchard every Sunday morning even walking it when the old bike broke down. Anyway its still a lovely site.

Stayed at this site for the past two years

What a change with the new warden so relaxing

The owners are working hard and the reception looks great with new windows

Toilet block is very clean and warm and 20p for the shower

This is a great site for fishing your right on the river bank

Very nice site friendly and welcoming

The carvery is great at the ketch

The Indian spicy bites delivers to the site and well worth a try and it is beautiful, it's one of the best we have tried
