Just had a lovely 3 nights, very well looked after, small and quiet family and dog friendly site. Very safe for children. Park wardens and Owner lovely, welcoming and helpful people. Some lovely walks only 2 minutes down the road and supermarket, pub and takeaways all in walking distance (5 minutes). Would definitely recommend and will be going back ourselves.

Arrived on Friday evening of bank holiday weekend for 3 nights the site was absolutely rammed only supposed to be 30 odd pitches but I didn't count but seemed a lot more than that.
Used shower first morning in the gents only 1 shower and 2 toilets, shower has a water saving on switch which lasted about 1 second before pushing again.
Only grass pitches no hard standing it rained For 2 days whilst we were pitched on a slight dip in the ground where rain water ran under our awning carpet making walking on it swishing sloshing not the fault of the site.
We would not return to this site. We did not feel facilities were adequate for the amount of people.
Wardens were very helpful and friendly.
Asda supermarket was nearby.
A pub opposite Asda did a lovely Sunday lunch

We have just returned from a night visit at Tall Trees and are quite impressed. The pitch is grass and mainly are level. We chose to have a not-so level site as it was near the play park, however the owner was great. When we first arrived he showed us to our pitch and helped us level the caravan using ramps. We had brought a new arial and he even put the mast bracket on the A-frame for us (we had only asked for a spanner). The 2 gentlemen was very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
There a new toilet block with under floor heating. The block was clean and well maintained. There is a launderette but didn't use that. The kids really enjoyed having the small play park area. The whole caravan site was generally well maintained.
A short distance away is a big Asda store, costa coffee, KFC, Subway and a very nice fish and chip shop called 'fillets'.
We will definitely returning again.

Great site to stop at, very clean and has very friendly staff, would recommend you stop at this great site. We will be coming back to this site soon. The facilities are exceptionally clean, great pitch area for the van and car plenty of room for an awning, great for visiting the local attractions in the area. GO and stop :)

Booked this site nearly twelve months ago. It was a lot cheaper than some in the surrounding areas, the site is excellent, shower/toilet block always clean. Soap and free hot water. 20p for use of hair dyer.
Stopped here with the gang of eight (families) and everyone loved the sight.
The manager could not do enough for you.
There is also a fishing lake which is well stocked, !
Showers are free with plenty of hot water and very spacious.
Asda 2 mins away in car and also fast food outlets in same complex.
Any downsides. No
Would recommend this site, it's an hidden gem.

Pleasant, helpful wardens, flat pitches, nice play area for children. Shower block/pot wash area nice and clean. Not at all rural and by a busy road but not too noisy. Only complaint was bins overflowing when we arrived and still the same when we left. Quite good value for money and there is plenty to see in the area. Close to ASDA for supplies plus KFC, fish & chips and a pub.

Well where to begin? The toilets/showers/fresh water points and waste disposal are all excellent and kept clean. However!, do not go if you want a reasonable poo free dog walk as you won't get it here, it's small and full of rubbish and poo. There were adults drinking cans of lager, on the benches watching their kids play at the lovely kids play area. There is scrubland around the tent area with 5ft high nettle forests and swampy water which is not marked and has no protection for children. A bonfire is being built with allsorts of stuff from cups to wire shelves and a magazine of naked ladies flapping amongst broken glass. Site goes straight onto a very busy road which we could hear quite clearly. Asda is 2 mins in the car but don't walk it's up the main road with a narrow path. No hard standings for caravans. We asked to extend our stay from 12pm to later that evening to enable us to go to the Thoresby classic car show we had really looked forward to going but was told very bluntly and rudely, no I like them all off by 12, we would have more than happily paid a full nights fee to stay a few extra hours. To sum up, facilities are very good, security is very good, the site description is quite a bit different from what is really there. Rural it is not. Lots if hidden open swampy puddles easily found by little ones. Would not recommend for dogs or families.

We stayed here for the May bank holiday in a group of two caravans and two tents and thought it was a lovely site.
The warden was very friendly and helpful, showing us to our adjoining spacious pitches on arrival, all of which had ehu's, and directing us to the local amenities which include pubs, take-aways and an Asda supermarket.
The site itself is well kept and reasonably level and includes a small lake for fishermen and a children's play area. The toilet block looks fairly new, is warm and was always clean with plenty of hot water for showering and pot washing. The shower in the gents is spacious and despite there being only one we never had to queue.
We would definitely return to this site as it is certainly one of the better sites we have stayed at over the years and there is a lot to see in this area of the country.

I and my wife visited this park due to visiting friends in the area. We previously stayed at other caravan parks local to this one and found tall trees the best of them all. The location was brilliant allowing us to walk to the local pub which does fabulous home cooked food. Costa, asda and fish and chip
Shop all within a five minute walk which was really good due to us having a motor home and parking can be difficult in town centres. The toilet facilities was really clean and tidy with an heated floor which was really good for the time of the year. There was an on site fishing lake allowing me to go fishing. The lake was well stocked with carp and small fish. I will most definitely will be returning to tall trees park again this year

I stayed at tall trees park on the 03/04/2014 from previously visiting the park I can see a magnificent improvement. The kids play area was great allowing the children to be occupied. The staff were really pleasant and very helpful. The toilets were really clean and up to great standards. Will be visiting in the near future and really looking forward to the next visit.
