Well what can we say. Fantastic. This has been our 1st season caravanning, we decided to go for a season pitch rather than touring. And its the best decision we could have made.
We were told of this site by another touring site in brean. I'm so glad they put us onto this site. Brean is not for us.
Rosetree is heaven tucked away in a little area close to sand bay. Its so peaceful, the site owner is fantastic, there's nothing she doesn't know about in weston,. The site warden is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, if you want club houses and swimming pools then you need to go elsewhere.
But if you want a well run looked after peaceful site then rosetree is the place to go. We will be counting the days until next season. Cant wait to get back.

Just spent a long weekend at the site and found it catered for everything we needed, also very dog friendly and really well positioned for days to weston super mare, burnham on sea and brean.
The facilities at the site were immaculate as was the whole campsite. It wasn't even off putting to listen to a owl hooting in the tree above our tent at 5 in the morning, that just shows how close to nature you are.

If you are a group planning to spend a late night ‘making merry’ please “don’t come here”! This is a site for couples/friends who want a relaxing, peaceful stay on a really nice camp site.
If you do disturb others (even without music) you will be: (a) requested to be quiet, (b) told to be quiet, and (c) told to leave the next morning. Exactly what happened to a group close to us this weekend.
As for the site, I would echo the comments made before, in particular:
Pros:
Friendly and helpful owner and warden
Always spotless shower/toilet/washing facilities
Lovely location
Cons:
Very few pitches without a slope (we were ok on the level bit)
On the Bristol airport flight path. No-one has mentioned this before, so I don’t know if this is a recent change or is a variable situation. However there were a significant number of planes passing over well into the night and starting fairly early in the morning, a shame for such a normally peaceful site (take those earplugs just in case).
Overall a recommended site that we will certainly return to when the Weston Pier and Sea Front improvements are ‘finally’ completed.

Rose Tree is a little piece of paradise in a beautiful area. We knew the moment we arrived that we had picked the right site. Rose Tree itself is only 10 minutes off the M5 but it is so quiet and peaceful it seems worlds away.
We were greeted by Donna who introduced us to Dave the site manager. He showed us to the tent field, which only had about 3 other tents in it, and told us we could pick our own pitch. We chose a spot opposite the entrance under the trees. There are no markers and during the 5 days we were there we had most of that side of the field to ourselves.
The facilities are basic but spotless, in fact when we were there we saw Donna scrubbing the boards from the shower floors out on the grass. We went out and when we got back she was still busy cleaning. It showed as even thought the toilets and showers are in an outbuilding there wasn't so much as a spider in them. There are 2 ladies and 2 gents loos and one shower each. We didn't have to queue once during the time we were there. Plenty of hot water for the showers and lovely soap in the loos which was an unexpected touch. There is a washing up sink next to the showers, the hot water runs on 10p coins and you get ample hot water for this.
There is a large Sainsburys within a 5 minute drive. We had fish and chips from the takeaway near the beach one night which were good and cooked while we waited. There seemed to be a few pubs nearby, we walked to the Manor which took about 10 minutes. Had a great meal and the prices were very reasonable. Just take care on the road as it does get narrow towards the site.
The road through the woods to Weston-Super-Mare has to be be one of the prettiest in the country, with the Bristol channel on one side and trees on the other, and it's different every time due to the huge tides there.
Sitting outside the tent all you can hear is birdsong and the occasional horse, it was hard to imagine that we were only just outside the town.
We found Weston-Super-Mare a lovely place and there seems to be an awful lot being done to make it better. It's a real old fashioned seaside place and really is worth a days visit. We look forward to going back next year when the work has finished so that we can see it complete. The tides are amazing as they sea goes out further than you can see which is quite a sight. We also drove into Bristol and walked cross the Clifton Suspension Bridge, wow, it's high!
We only stayed 5 days before moving down to Cornwall where we stayed on an award winning site with all mod cons. It was lovely but not a patch on Rose Tree which we missed as soon as we left. Can't wait to return and see some more of this lovely area.
If you want a tranquil campsite in a beautiful place it has to be Rose Tree.

Nothing too exciting about this site except that it is small. Beach is not swimmable, site just on edge of weston, not cheap, and surprisingly you are asked for a deposit prior to booking and then have to sign an agreement about rules on arrival.
There are rules everywhere, don't use the loo unless you know how to, don't use loo if you have been drinking, don't use the loo after dark, we are videoing you. And plenty more rules everywhere, wherever you look !
Owner and warden all friendly enough but not very interesting site, no focal point, no local input /information. No children allowed, many adults didn't seem to get out of bed all day, probably the rules.
Local pub ok and cheap, but 2 sizzling inn meals cheap quick and cheerful but then that's it, and weston. Still being revamped all summer what a mess.

Just returned from a 2 night stay on this lovely quiet site. On arrival we were led to a level pitch at the bottom of the field, then left alone to set up after about an hour the warden returned to register us.
As previous reviewers have said the facilities are basic but very clean.
It is a very quiet site with lovely views and we hope to return soon

A pleasant campsite not too far from J21 M5. Tent field has a slight slope but if you pitch towards the bottom end this isn't a problem.
The toilets and showers are very well maintained and the washing up area is more than adequate although don't forget your 10p's for the warm water in the washing up area.
You can walk into Weston through the woods - ask Donna for directions (about 40 mins brisk walk) or get the bus. A taxi was about £6-7 pounds.
We didn't try the nearest pub but instead walked to the New Castle which was just at the foot of the path through the woods into Weston. They have a small menu for food and home made cakes to die for all in attractive modern surroundings.
The New Inn is also worth a mention purely for Eric the owner who made our visits most entertaining by dishing out sneaky free shots of Lemoncello and Amaretto to some of the ladies in our party. He will probably get you to try the Doom Bar ale - don't do it!
A most entertaining stay, made even more so by the many laminated rules of operation. You'll know what I mean when you get there!

Stayed for two nights in May and found the owners to be very helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower blocks although basic were adequate and kept immaculately clean. If you want a level pitch it is a good idea to book early.
There are excellent local shopping facilities and pubs and a caravan dealership near the motorway with a good accessory shop. Would recommend to people wanting a holiday near to the sea on a secure friendly well run site close to local amenities. Hope to return soon.

We stayed here for the last 3 years for our holidays and also stored the caravan. It is a most enjoyable stay and we were welcomed by the owner. There is a dog walk just for the dogs which is well maintained and clean. We could choose our own spot and weren't bothered at all. It was cheap friendly and well run. Clean showers and toilets. We will be going back there at some point but have got tired of the area and want to try some place new so 10/10 for this site. This site is close to all shops pubs and the beach there are garden centres really every think you would need all close by
