We arrived back home yesterday, after spending a week in our caravan at Goodwin Caravan Park.
We will certainly go back next year. We can't fault really every thing was very nice and clean
The shower/ washup and laundrette. Also the area where we pitched our caravan was hard standing with all the facilities and very spacious we will
Look forward to going back next year.

Just returned from a week at this site and been honest I could not fault the site in any way, staff were very friendly and helpful,
Toilets and showers cleaned twice a day,
Pitches are of a good size for a caravan with awning and a car and are well looked after with plenty of choice between grass or hard standing,
Easy walking into chapel st leonards
Where you will find a good choices of pubs and restaurants good bus service just outside the site to ingoldmels and skegness where you would find every thing you need for a family day out
I would highly recommend this site

We stayed 2 nights at this park with friends next to us in their caravan. The site is well run, with the people in reception being friendly and welcoming. The toilets were modern and clean. The site was full when we went but we had no problems with noise or using the facilities. We were really pleased with the large pitch sizes and were glad we stayed here and not on the next campsite, where the tents and caravans were crammed in! We hope to visit again in the future.

This was our first camping trip in our new trailer tent and we were all very excited including our 2 yr old son. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our pitch, the young lady didn't have much of an idea to what a trailer tent was as she wanted us to park in a very strange way but we soon had it set up how we wanted it in the end.
The fob for the entrance and the shower/toilet block were a great idea and felt nice and secure. However bit of a pain waiting for the other half to return. The showers and toilets were VERY clean and done twice a day which was nice however they shut for an hour both times to do this task and timings seemed to be a bit strange.
The pitch was flat and I could easily link up to a power socket. Not too crowded even though the site was full all in all a good site.
I have some concerns though with the speed of buses and lorries travelling down the road on which you have to walk to visit the beach and other family attractions. Please be aware that the traffic does seem to have no concept of the pedestrians walking on the path and due to the road being a bit narrow they do come a bit close for comfort.
We found the local attractions but unfortunately they were shut and opened from 10 am onwards and having a young boy who awoke early we thought would have been open earlier in peak season. All in all a nice site and a great start to our camping adventures.

We've just purchased a new Outwell Montana 6 tent and were keen to try it out on an overnighter before our trips to the Lake District and France this summer.
We like the beach at nearby Chapel St Leonard where we normally do four-hour-round day trips, so overcame our normal reservations about caravan parks and booked this site. Being a site that is predominantly for caravans, motohomes etc, as tent owners we were in the minority. Didn't bother us until a group of caravanners remarked publicly if you were going to get a tent that size you might as get a caravan! Not very welcoming! Good job they said it in front of our daughter and not me!
That said, the staff themselves can't be faulted for their helpfulness. We were asked for the size of our tent and found an appropriately sized site. Later that day the pretty young girl at reception answered the door after the reception had closed to lend us a screwdriver, doing so with her usual charm even though I suspect she was on her lunch break.
There is a barrier at the entrance and exit operated by an electronic fob which also gives access to the toilets and shower blocks. This did cause a few problems if you were desperate for the loo. I lost count of number of times I ran for the loo blocks only to have to run back to get the magnetic fob -not great when you are diabetic and always desperate for the loo! Also means unless you go together, you find yourselves waiting for the fob to return. Found myself standing under the windows of shower/loo blocks shouting for daughter to hurry up out of the shower to let me in!
The site is extremely clean and tidy and the showers/loos are cleaned twice a day. Big plus point!
We were annoyed to be woken up just after midnight by people returning from the pub, talking and laughing loudly. Can't fault the park or the staff but slightly put off by some of the people staying there.

This site is very well located and easily found.
The site it self is very clean, pitches are well spaced out so we weren't on top of others, although it wasn't busy at all when we visited.
Toilets and shower facilities are very good
The only down side was lots of noise from an adjoining camp site into the early hours of Saturday evening, between 12.00 and 1.30am, which was a bit annoying for us as we had kids with us who we'd exhausted in the hope of some late night adult time gossiping and drinking a little wine.
So worth bearing in mind if this might be a problem for you.
We stayed for 2 nights,we would definitely go again for a long weekend break.

We stopped on this site for our first time as caravanners, and I would like to say how helpful the owners were when we got there. They helped us park up and explained everything to us,which was really great because we didn't have a clue really. The toilets and shower block were very clean, plenty of hot water. It has made us want to go again as soon as we can.

A very friendly family run site, the facilities are excellent clean tidy and heated toilet and shower block and site kept very tidy.
When I arrived the site owner took me to my pitch and helped me site my van and the pitch was a very good size.
A short walk down the road brings you to trunch lane where there are plenty of bars and amusements and eating places access to the beach is at the bottom of the lane.
All in all an excellent location

A brilliant family run site. On arrival we were explained the facilities and taken to our pitch. The toilet block was really clean and the pot wash / laundry room was also spotless.
There are shops pubs, chip shop and beach nearby, about 15 minute walk.
Security gates and on the toilet/shower room too, so felt safe going there at all times.
Only 4 toilets and 2 showers so had to queue at times. Peak season I guess you wait longer.
We were near the road which was slightly noisy at night and we were woken by people coming home late at night but I guess you get that anywhere!
At the end of our stay the owners let us stay on an hour to dry out our tent, which was kind. They also let us leave our car there while we went into the town for dinner.
Overall I would recommend this site to stay at due to the cleanliness and friendliness.
