Absolutely the best campsite we’ve found yet. Super helpful people running it, yet so free to choose exactly where you want to pitch. Feels so secluded and remote with stunning views of hills and river. Great walks. So dog friendly and relaxed. Best two nights sleep in a tent.
Only thing to bear in mind is we went in kids hols so one group of families being loud each night but we noticed after 9pm they quietened down.
Exceptional toilets and showers and fresh drinking water all over the site. Thank you so much for making our first ‘family’ holiday with our new dog incredible.

Lovely fields by a river (great for paddling and swimming), ideal for older kids to play in.
Fields are slopes in many places but nice and soft, not too soggy.
Toilets and showers are basic but spotlessly clean.
Overall a lovely campsite.

Stayed here for 2 nights as we were doing the Yorkshire three Peaks Challenge and it had everything we needed,
It’s basic with just toilets, showers and fresh drinking water but very reasonable pricing.

Excellent value for money,
If I had to pick out a few issues one would be the lack of wash room sinks (hard work brushing a child's teeth in the cramped toilet space),
The other would be the lack of signs to the public footpaths.
But both of these are small issues for the price you won't find better value.

Just got back after spending 2 nights at Cragg Hill Farm. We were 5 adults doing the 3 Peaks of Yorkshire.
The campsite was a lovely spacious level site, there are no set pitches so you are able to pitch up anywhere which can be a problem sometimes, but on this site it was not as you can pitch up around the edges of the site out of the way of cars.
There are clean portable toilet blocks around the site and clean free showers.
It's in a good location with only a short walk to the village.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating when we changed the dates at the last minute.
I would book this site if I was to stop in this area again.

Perfect spot for a night. Plenty of space on a Sunday night.
Quiet pitch not bothered by the trains.
Short walk to the pub in the village.
Would stay again.

Lovely site, 2/3 mile from Horton village. Very cheap, but facilities all very good with toilets and showers in great condition.
We walked the 3 peaks from here, so ideally positioned for this.
Can't complain at all.
Booked via this site in email and was super quick in responding.

Great location. Lovely walk down the river into the village. Fine facilities - showers, toilet, wash - there were relatively few folk on site though.
And what beautiful grass to sleep on in the top field!. Railway line close but only occasional gentle rumble.
Recommended.

Really nice campsite. Toilets were very clean and the showers were nice and hot.
There was lots of space between tents. The numbers on the site was kept down so the campsite was not crowded.
The lady who runs the campsite was very helpful.
