Stayed here for 10 days. It was absolutley stunning the view was to die for, ok the narrow road to get there was a bit tight but this in my opinion wasn't an issue, the view more than made up for it! The pitch was sloping but the owner made sure that there were plenty of blocks around for you to use. The toilets/showers could do with a good clean (only down side)
There was a little corner shop a few miles away but plenty of shops 10mins away in Looe, stunning chippy called the Coddy Shack on way into Looe a definite must! If your looking for a quiet relaxing time then this site certainly offers that, would highly recommend

We stayed here for 3 days in July. The location is stunning, with breathe taking views. The site is. A pleasant 30 minute walk from Looe.
On site the showers were hot and powerful, could do with a bit more cleaning.
No play park but plenty space for children to run around and the lovely shire horses to be fed carrots.
Mike the owner was really helpful and friendly and allowed us to pitch where we pleased.
Free wifi covering the whole site was a bonus.
Would definitely return if in the area.

Plus points are the view from the site and ability to pitch anywhere vacant. Downside are its a very slopped site which isnt the end of the world but you will slide out of your tent overnight.
The worse and let down for this site is the toilets, showers and wash up facilities. They are part of a barn which has been converted but at a low standard. The hot water runs out and if you do go bag the electric showers which there are two.
There is a real issue with cleanliness of these facilities which can best described rancid where they are simply not cleaned at all during the 8 days I was there.
If your into wild camping or pulling a caravan then your ok but if you have kids or loved ones think carefully about this site, the views don't outweigh the issues.
If your pulling a caravan the single track road with a 17% incline at one point so arrive early. Last thing its cash payment only.
Wouldn't go again unless the loos improved and someone made the effort to fix the sign board which is about to topple over.

Visited during the Royal Jubilee half term weekend. The site was in a lovely position and the view was fabulous until the weather closed in! Our stay was completely spoiled by the fact that although the site information states that there are only 12 pitches, the owner had booked in double that number as it was half term so everyone was much too close together and there was no privacy from the neighbouring units. We chose the site especially as it was supposed to be small and quiet. The showering and washing facilities were adequate but we were there four days and we didn't see them being cleaned, and as there were so many using the toilets there was frequently no loo roll in the ladies'.

Once you find the site down the quite narrow lanes nobody could deny this site really has views to die for, simply stunning.
The site owner met us at the entrance and was very friendly and welcoming and as we were only staying one night told us to pitch where we liked. The site is quite sloping the most level pitch we could find was up by the fence at the top of the site. They have electric hook up if you need it but no shop on site so bring anything you need with you. The toilets/shower and washing up areas are quite important to us but unfortunately they didn't look like they had been cleaned for a while! but as I said we were only there 1 night so would give them the benefit of the doubt and try it again in case it was a hiccup. As we only stayed one night we didn't move once pitched up so couldn't tell you what's around but Looe is nearby and you'll find anything you need there. Whilst the toilets let it down the site is beautifully presented grass mown water points all around the site and like I said a view to die for.

WOW! went camping for the first time at this site, the first thing I noticed was the panoramic view of the sea and Looe bay (breath-taking). The facilities were standard as stated but very clean and tidy.
We have three small children (2-7yrs) and found there was no playground area which didn't really matter as there was plenty of space for the kids to run around and also made a lot of new friends. The site had very friendly shire horses which the kids and I loved. The owners were very friendly and every day would come over to see if we are ok and offered to re-freeze our ice-blocks as there was know freezer on site.
We are planning to return in the summer and recommend this site to anyone.

A lovely view out to the bay. We were in a tent and unfortunately, arrived on a stormy day. The site is pretty exposed and only the hedge by the path gave a little shelter from the battering winds. Quite a few tents were down in the morning.
The ground is also sloping in most places. There are 3 lovely wooden 'pods' for hire with a sea view and it's great to see the horses in the next field.
The toilet shower block looks new and adjoins the barn next door. I have to say that the 3 days we were there, it wasn't cleaned at all. We won't be going back.

Just returned from a lovely week on Bay View Farm. We even enjoyed it so much we extended our holiday by a day! Really nice site with a very friendly owner Mike. The site has a friendly feel to it, the views are totally breath taking, you could sit there all day and just absorb the views.
Very well situated to visit the surrounding areas. We visited many of the local beaches, Seaton, Looe, Tallands which was especially nice! We also went on one of the coastal walks with our 3 children to the local beach Seaton, and the views from the cliffs during this walk were out of this world!
The few criticisms that we would have is that the showers weren't particularly hot and not that clean, and I personally don't think that it is too much to expect to have a nice hot shower when you're camping!
My children absolutely loved this site even though there was no play park but this didn't cause a problem as this encouraged them to make friends and play with there outdoor toys more! The shire horses were a real bonus and gave the children another focus and they all had fun feeding the horses grass etc!
All in all a lovely friendly site in a stunning area, well worth a visit but in peak season don't expect a hot shower as I think that you may be disappointed unless you managed to bag one of the two electric showers which will give you a steaming hot shower but fellow campers appeared to work this out as well causing it to be full with people waiting to use it! Saying that it wouldn't stop me from returning, especially to gaze at the stunning sea view one more time!
Also note that the access lanes are very narrow and hilly which again in peak season can be a bit of a nightmare when towing a caravan as there is only enough space for one car at a time! Top tip when departing leave early in the morning to avoid meeting other cars on the narrow lanes!

What a lovely site, basic but well thought out.
The toilets where always clean as where the showers, the site was well maintained.
We had 2 lovely weeks, arriving about 8am on the Saturday morning, pulled up and was met by Mike, what a lovely man,
Showed us where we could pitch, left us to choose exactly where, I asked when he wanted paying, oh don't worry about it catch me when you see me,
Well we did not pay until the Thursday !
The horses were a lovely to sit and watch,
Along with the stunning view of Looe Bay!
There was a problem with the ladies toilets one evening, put a call in, within 20 minutes it was sorted.
The lanes are rather narrow in places but not really a problem.
We will be going back to the site !

Just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks staying at bay view, the views from the site are magnificent, the toilets and showers were excellent, we had no complaints about this site whatsoever
The surrounding area was lovely although the roads were a bit hair raising in places.
Mike the owner and his dog Skye were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We'd just like to say that we have fallen in love with bay view and will be returning next year.
The shire horses were lovely.
We were lucky enough to be there for Looe carnival and saw one of the shire horses in the carnival parade in all it's finer.
The nearest beaches, Seaton and Millendreath were lovely, the Smugglers Inn at Seaton is brilliant as it accepts dogs which was lucky for us as we had our border collie with us.
Wish we could visit this site more often but unfortunately we live in West Yorkshire and it's one hell of a journey to make too often, we would highly recommend this site to anyone.
