Quiet, clean site although older toilet facilities
Near town so can leave car and walk into town if wanted and friendly staff but not instructive
Children able to play safe and plenty space to run about

The site was good - we had a lot of space to pitch several small tents and a communal shelter, which suited our family group.
The site had a basic shower/toilet block, a washing up room with hot water, and a laundry room.
Our only complaint would be it was ridiculous to have to pay 50p for showers when we were already paying £10 per night each. In total we paid £180 for three nights for 6 adults, so they did well out of us for a basic campsite!
The site is fairly well situated for easy access to Kinross, Loch Leven and also trains to Edinburgh from Cowdenbeath.

Went for four nights, caravan and rooftop tent, ended up staying for 17 nights (10 4 tent) A good solid genuine campsite. Its not haven or butlins, just a good old campsite
Small play area for kids showers and toilets, they sell gas also
Beautiful countryside all around, the great Loch Lomand is just a short trip away, very central and very helpful owners.
If you want night clubs go blackpool, if you want quiet with great location and countryside come here

Site was average. Lots of tents and music loud Friday and Saturday night till nearly midnight.
If we returned again would not go at the weekend.
Staff we’re pleasant and well spaced out pitches for caravans. Value for money

Our experience of Gallowhill campsite was extremely pleasurable. We were greeted upon arrival by Stephen who was a very pleasant host and took time out to explain the campsite layout and amenities.
The pitch with electrical hook up was excellent and the shower and toilet facilities were small but clean and well presented which was vouched for by my wife and two teenage daughters.
Its a short walk into the lovely town of Kinross where we had some lovely food and drink.
We would highly recommend this campsite and thank you very much Stephen for making us feel welcome you were a great host.
Definitely come back here again and look forward to coming back having a shot of your 1960 Massey Ferguson.

Great people, great location, small park for kids, showers and toilet s great. Shops nearby. Remember! This is camping and not glamping!
We went on a whim and stayed 5 weeks over the season, and we look forward to going back this year☺

Small friendly site, all grass pitches. Pot wash clean although water could have been hotter.
Limited covid precautions just hand sanitiser and due to covid the showers were closed but we knew that before booking.
Easy check in and payment.

Lovely wee quiet camp site. Very friendly owners. Toilets were open, but not showers, due to Covid.
Lovely views over the hills.
Will definitely be back and would recommend.
