Stayed at gallowhill last night and was not disappointed!
We bought our tourer recently and this was our 1st attempt at towing and staying at a campsite.
The owner was very friendly showed us to an easy to drive straight onto pitch and even lent us a hook up cable as ours was quite short.
As we have to small children 4 & 5yrs the park was great for them with 2 swings a large slide and climbing frame, even an old tractor tire on ground which our boys used as a make believe spaceship!
Shower block and toilets were kept clean throughout our stay and ample hot water etc.
Dog walking area very handy although not a large walk only took 7mins to walk all the way round and back again.
But all in all a very clean and friendly site. Will definitely return as only 20mins drive from us.

Good location near motorway junction giving easy access to Edinburgh & Perth. Park and Ride nearby too. We made an excursion the the East Neuk harbour towns/villages that was enjoyable. Slight background noise from motorway but not a problem.
Excellent facilities. Clean with plenty of hot water. Chargeable laundry but free iron & board.
Friendly owners and reasonable rates.
Nearby Sainsburys.

Quite a good site - though exposed to the wind as we found out !
It very near motorway and near all facilities in Kinross (though not really walkable.
Fairly basic shower/ toilets which could be updated ( hot water in showers was very variable) Was busy when we were there and only 2 showers in ladies.
Small playarea. Friendly owners. Very cheap pitch prices.

This was our first stop off on our club trip to Orkney, this site is very pleasant, the ground is excellent for tents.
The toilet/shower block although small is spotless ans well maintained.
There is a small play park for kids which is a bonus when setting up camp.
This site is near the motorway but you never hear it.
The site is well situated near Kircaldy.
We will definitely be back!

The access to the site is through a farm, with what looks like a recycling and porta loo business. The layout of the site is the car park variety - ranks of vans and caravans.
The views in the distance were lovely but are marred by the sight of a corrugated iron barn and the nearby caravans that I'm guessing were there for storage. The shower block is basic and when I was there the floor was sopping wet throughout. We only stayed one night.
The location was good, easy access from the motorway, hence it was convenient for onward travel.

A really nice clean tidy site with all the facilities you could want. Shower and toilet blocks spotless the park itself was litter free, they welcome dogs and have a dog walking area so no nasty messes on the park. Near to everything you need, shops walks pubs etc. Great site for a short or long stay. Near to Knockhill Racing Track so great for a stop over if your attending a race or track event. Cheap stop over for a family of 3 and we will be using again.

This is a little gem of a site, wished I'd found it earlier. Staff were very friendly and helpful who also guided us to our pitch. Plenty of tourist information kept in old portakabin, useful if you want to know what's in area. Prime location to get to Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth due to M90 being nearby, we went to Glasgow, which was approx 1 1/2 hrs away, so again felt this site was well located. The grounds are very well kept. The toilet/shower blocks were cleaned daily, 2 showers behind curtain and a plastic stool and coat hangers on dry side for belongings, hairdryer available at no extra cost. A spacious washing up room and launderette were also available. If your looking for a quiet, pleasant site this is for you and with the very reasonable prices I highly recommend it.

Very pleased with this site! nice welcome when we arrived, was advised of local amenities and directions for town etc. The ground was very good, pitching the tent was no problem, there was plenty of choice when we arrived but it soon got busy. The toilets where immaculate and the showers very good, clean. Play park for the kids was small but good enough to keep our 2 boys amused. Ice-cream van was a bonus just after 8pm. We went the dog walk although we don't have one and found it good for people who wish to take a dog. The town is a short walk away 10 mins with a pub and some shops. We had a great time, a bit disappointed when we got there and was told that campfires were no longer allowed.

Lovely little site. Close enough to motorway to be really handy, but far enough away to not be too noisy. Good base for travelling around the surrounding area. Kinross town only 10 mins walk, and worth a visit. Large market on the Sunday.
Site itself is well maintained. Shower block / toilets very clean. Recommended.

Stayed at this site for one night - great site. Toilet block spotless and showers great more like a 'wet room.' Water stayed behind curtain so clothes stayed dry at other side and floor remained dry. Free use of hairdryer as well which was a bonus.
The drive up wasn't too bad as indicated in previous review. You can see motorway from site but noise didn't interfere with enjoyment. Views brilliant. Quite a number of 'resident' caravans and obvious use by regulars who all seemed a friendly crowd. As there are only two showers it could mean queuing in busy periods.
Small children's play area. Would suggest this is a family site and if children are not your cup of tea - try another site. All in all, very nice for £14.00 a night for hardstanding and hook-up.
