Stayed on site for three nights in our campervan in August 2011.
Very friendly owner who was helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Very very reasonable rate - cash or cheques only (no card facilities).
Toilet block clean and tidy - showers warm and 8 minutes for 50p is more than plenty. Like the idea of the digilock and great idea having free hairdryers.
Recommend steel tent pegs on the hardstanding if you have an awning.
Children's play area was good for all ages.
Views surrounding the site are stunning and although close to a busy road, which can be seen from site, the noise doesn't affect the tranquillity of the place.
Highly recommend this site.

Stayed here for 1 night it was a very pleasant little campsite.
Very well sign posted.
The toilet block was clean and tidy as was the showers.
The playpark for the kids is basic but they still had fun playing at it.
Our tent pitch was great with our own picnic table altho we couldn't use it as it was torrential rain.
I believe there was a dog walking route around the campsite there was quite a few dogs.
It was an ideal base for us as we were going to knockhill race circuit which is only about 20 mins drive from it.
All in all I would recommend this campsite if your looking for a little family run 1.

Stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it received a warm welcome from the owners site was very clean and in a good location just a short drive to the shops bars the boot sale and market was great and just down the road in kinross.
Loch leven was also close by with a great park for the kids to play in
The kids had a great time playing at the park even thou it was very basic, there was a short dog walk which was good as we took our dog,
The washing up area was a bit on the small side with only two sinks in a tiny room,
The shower block was clean our only gripe was that the showers kept running hot and cold
Will return as we had a fab time

We received a warm welcome and stayed here for three nights, pitched up next to the shower and toilet block. Although the site was rapidly filling up, we had no problem fitting in a large 6 berth tent.
The entire site was clean and well maintained and the facilities were immaculate. Apart from the shower block, there are also laundry and washing up areas. In addition to this, there is a playground for children and a separate dog-walking zone.
Loch Leven is a short drive away and the nearest shops and pub are only a ten minute walk.
We'd happily return here; the level of service is very good and the site is really good value for money.

Stayed one Saturday night at the end of August.
The tent area was large and fairly flat with picnic benches available. The toilets were clean, with a digilock entry. The showers were good too - 50p for 8 minutes was plenty of time.
There is a pretty minimal playground for the kids - a couple of swings and a slide, but there was enough space for the kids to play football without bothering anyone. I'm not sure how well this would have worked had the site been very busy.
The surrounding area was pleasant enough, and close enough to the M90 to make most of Fife and Perthshire accessible. The site is on the outskirts of Kinross, which has most things you could expect of a small town. The route around Loch Leven is picturesque, and certainly worth a look.
Site owner was pleasant and helpful.
Charges were £6 per person - perhaps a little on the expensive side for a family.
Surprisingly, the tent area was very quiet considering the decent weather.
Nice site. I'd certainly have no worries about going back.

Spent 1 night here, plenty room to pitch our tent, just told to pitch anywhere there was space. Enough room between tents not to feel too close to one another.
Kids play park in centre of site which seem to go down well with all the kids.
Toilet block kept clean and tidy, locked after dark(given a code to enter) Showers take a 50p for 8 mins which was more than long enough, although could run hot and cold. Free hairdryers in ladies toilets. Only problem here was the banging of the doors all through the night.Soft closing doors would be a great idea for future!
Small walk behind site to take the dogs. Only takes 5 mins to do the route, but handy to walk dogs off site.
Kinross only 5 mins away in the car, plenty of shops, banks, etc. Had a picnic down by Loch Leven in the afternoon which was lovely, dogs and child splashing in Loch.
Overall a great small site with good facilities, will definitely be back here next year.

Stayed at campsite last night (sat 1rst Aug) found wardens friendly and very helpful. The campsite was full and we hadn't booked but they welcomed us and gave us nice flat pitch next to children's play area, oophs a thought but site even full as it was still very quite and views amazing.
Toilets/showers very clean,50p for shower. Kinross and milnathort only 5min by car. Nice chinese takeaway in milnathort can recommend. Will definitely be back.

Just back from a fantastic two night stay here. Great place to pitch a tent we pitched a highgear Zenobia six man tent with no problem as you still have plenty of space between you and your neighbour.
The grounds are flat and in a big grassy area surrounded by fields. This campsite is split into two large areas one for tents that don't require electric hook-up and the other for motorhomes-caravans-tents that do.
Toilets-showers-laundry and a place to wash dishes are all contained in a block in the middle of the campsite which is great plus a play area just to the side of it for the kids. On arrival your given a code for the use of the facilities.
Its 50 pence to use the showers that last for eight minutes but did run hot and cold and a free hair dryer for us girls. We took our dog at no charge there's a small dog walk behind the trees, but just behind that there's fields which everyone used for their dogs. It's a good location, 5 mins drive from main street, and near loch leven which is about 15 mins drive away where you can park the car and walk around it's great for site seeing.
The only downside was when booking we asked if you can burn a campfire as its advertised on their website and was the whole reason for choosing this campsite and was told it was fine as long as you used a slate to protect the grass. On our first night we weren't sure where to get the slates from so went to talk to Jim the site owner(very friendly) who told us were to find them and very kindly gave us a barbecue tray to get started that was left behind by someone.
Jim often came round to ensure everyone was ok and chat to everyone which we thought was really friendly but became concerned about the campfires that were being light. On the second night Jim commented about them not really being allowed we mentioned about what it says on his website and he said it shouldn't have that on it but he said hes quite happy for you to burn a barbeque but not a campfire later that night everyone was told that they no longer allowed campfires on site and this would be the last night. Which is very sad as this one of the enjoyments of camping but in saying that if you don't mind this then this is great campsite.

Stayed here for one night with our two boys.
Under 7s are free so at £12+£2 for electric hook-up it was pretty good value.
Our pitch was opposite the playground and a large grassy area which kept the boys amused/safe as we could see them safe and plenty opportunity to play with other children.
Took the bikes and went round some of the Loch Heritage trail. Vane Farm is nearby and there is plenty to do in the local area. Large Sainsburys just off the M90 which is handy for stocking up.
Toilet block was clean and whilst we didn't use them the showers looked fine. Note that there is a 50p charge for the shower.
There were a lot of caravans and motor homes on the site. Some other reviewers commented about the motorway noise but it didn't affect our sleeping!
Owners were pleasant and helpful.

Just had a cracking two night stay at this site. Very reasonable nightly rates, site well maintained and if you are lucky you can get a picnic table to use throughout your stay. Really welcoming reception from the owner.
Toilets clean, showers good and plenty of water and bin stands throughout the site. Small playpark to keep the kids amused. Dog walking route was good, but we managed to get into fields behind and the dog loved the freedom to run. Will be back.
