We used Greenacres as a stop over on our way back home from Wales. Having stayed before we knew what to expect.
Very welcoming owners and easy check in. We had a lovely hardstanding pitch which the owner showed us to once through the security barrier. The site is incredibly well maintained and looked after and being adults only is a massive plus point for us! Small toilet/shower block but absolutely spotless. 2 showers in the lades, 4 sinks and 4 toilets, piped music and even hand cream and tissues!
There's a brand new Budgens (with fuel), Subway and Costa Coffee place just outside the site and a fantastic pub a few minutes walk further on. The Skylark is a Marstons 2 for 1 pub. We ate there in the evening and the steaks were fantastic. We even managed to share a starter and a pud! We got in there early (5pm ish) and were glad we did as within an hour it was packed and folks were queuing for tables! Chelston Motorhomes is also a short walk down the road, nice for an afternoon nose at their accessories!
We walked into Wellington (a nice but small town) in the afternoon. It takes about 20-30 minutes. If you don't fancy the walk the buses run very regularly, about every 15 minutes from just down the road from the pub.
We loved Greenacres and are planning on going back for a couple of nights later in the year to explore Taunton.

We have visited Greenacres six times in the last two years and have always been very happy with the facility's.
David and Linda always make you welcome, the toilets and showers are spotless and the grounds are immaculate. It's easy to get to being only a short drive from the motorway, if I had to find fault it would be the traffic noise, although not too bad it's there but a couple of glasses of wine and it's not a problem.
There is a great pub just a short walk away which does two for one deals on food and it's excellent.
A Budgens garage and supermarket has just opened not far away and sells just about everything.
We like Greenacres and look forward to visiting David and Linda again.

Our first visit to this site, chosen because it was adult only and although close to the road the noise was not as bad as we expected.
The location was fairly good, not close to any seaside towns but there are places to visit nearby.
The road around the site and the pitches were very narrow, barely wider than the caravan leaving only the grass to step out on to - very wet (and long) with dew this time of year so waterproof shoes were a must.
Showers and toilets were kept nice and clean but the water wasn't very hot and the push button system was annoying and unnecessary considering it was an adult only site. It did have a dish washing area which was useful.
At £18 plus another £1. 50 for a porch awning we thought the site was over priced compared to many comparable ones we've stayed on.

For the past three years we have used this site as a one night stop over on our journey to and back from Cornwall.
This adult site only is kept immaculately clean with plenty of separate mens and ladies toilets and showers. The grounds are kept tidy with large grassy areas and there are level pitches for a quick set up. The dog area on site is so useful with a poo bin provided.
Some of the pitches run alongside the road so there is some traffic noise but there is a high thick hedge between the site and the road and the noise dies down at night. Apart from a bit of traffic noise the site is very quiet with views to distant hills.
There is also a book swap facility in the information shed.
Ideal site for a stop over as close to the M5 or longer stay to explore the surrounding area. Even in August it is possible to book a pitch at short notice as they usually have a few spares.

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely quiet site, spotless shower block, very friendly owners, Regular bus service to Wellington and Taunton. No shops nearby. Had a meal at the Skylark pub which was very good value for money and although they don't allow dogs inside the weather was good so sat outside with the dog no problem. Not really anywhere for good dog walks, but enjoyed our stay, and would probably return.

We visited this adults only site for the first time and stayed for three nights in our caravan we have a labrador dog so can visit relatives in Rockwell Green.
The couple were lovely helpful nothing was too much trouble the grounds are kept beautiful well laid out and level the shower block looks new and spotless with radio music.
They do have an area and the end to walk your dog not a field but a nice quiet lane just outside.
To eat local there is the Skylark but no dogs allowed and very busy but found a nice pub called THE BLACKBIRD about a mile down the road dogs allowed and water bowls lovely meal very reasonable price open lunch and 7 in the evening well worth a visit.

Nice 'Adults Only' site along side M5 on A38 with easy access to and from motorway. Some traffic noise but not a problem and you soon get used to it. Nice hard standings with plenty of room. Small dog walk but ok as we have small dog! Nice quiet lane outside park for larger dogs.
Showers and toilets very clean and serviceable and also washing up area. Would be nice to have hand washing/laundry sink. No Wi Fi on site. Five minute drive from town centre with choice of supermarkets and takeaways.
Nice site for longer stopover to and from West Country. We will return soon

We found this site very quiet and secluded although it is just off M5 JNC. 25 the people who keep it are very friendly and helpful, this was a site I picked up off the internet and had never been before but we weren't disappointed, there are many places you can visit ie. Minehead weston super mare taunton. There is a harvester pub within walking distance but I wouldn't recommend it the other eateries are way out from the site.

We have stayed at the site many times and always enjoy the experience. David and Linda are always welcoming and never fail to make us feel especially at home.
The site is immaculately maintained, the toilet block is beautifully clean, as are all the other facilities on site.
The recent addition of washing-up sinks, which have been installed in response to suggestions from guests, is exactly how David and Linda run their site, always striving to make sure people are well cared for.
The information and book exchange summer house is another inspired idea.
This site is much more than a stop-off point from the motorway when travelling to or from Cornwall and Devon and we would highly recommend people to spend some time exploring the surrounding area. The coasts of Devon and Dorset are easily accessible.
We enjoyed a delightful journey from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead on the West Somerset Railway and a fish supper at Burton Bradstock Dorset.

This was our second visit to site this year and hope to return October. I can only find one criticism and that's a lack of dishwashing area or even one single sink would be great. We find the owners so friendly site is kept in perfect condition we have stayed at peak season and have never seen the site more than half full don't understand why its so convenient for roads, sightseeing and apart from bit of traffic noise its heaven.
