A good, well maintained site. Wardens are friendly, welcoming and helpful. A little traffic noise but not excessive. Secure at night with a barrier to stop unwanted visitors. Very clean toilets and showers - probably the cleanest I have seen in forty years of camping and caravanning. I only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Conveniently situated for the M5, Taunton and Exmoor.

Came for a two night stay just for a weekend away. Access is extremely easy (but be aware that the 500 metres in the last part of the directions is from the main roundabout, not the new mini roundabout!)
We received a warm welcome at reception and you are also greeted by a view of a neat and tidy site which is beautifully maintained. It is largely flat and the pitches are well laid out. They are only the width of a caravan or camper van and so the awning has to be on grass; great for ease of pitching but we thought it might be a bit messy after rain.
The toilet/shower block is immaculately clean, very modern and well maintained. Two showers and WCs in the men's and three in the ladies' may be a bit busy at peak times with 30 pitches on site. All facilities such as water and waste disposal are well constructed and the whole site gives the feel of comfort and ease of use.
It appealed to us as an adults only site and was very quiet and relaxed. There is road noise but we didn't find it intrusive. The dog walk is essentially the end of the site and there is a large grassed area on the way to it from the reception end of the site.
The nearby pub is a 'pack 'em in and feed 'em' type of place but there is a more traditional one at West Buckland (the Blackbird).
All in all a really nice site, beautifully maintained with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We'll be going back.

Like many previous reviewers, we chose this site due to its close proximity to the M5, in order to break up our journey to West Cornwall, and stayed for on night either side of our holiday.
On arrival, the owners were very helpful and friendly and we had a good choice of pitches, all of which are level ‘Hardstanding’ with Electric Hook Up. The site is very well maintained and the new Facilities Block is very pleasant with fresh flowers and piped music.
Understandably, there is a little road noise if you take a pitch on the left of the site, but this wouldn’t stop us visiting again, and wasn’t a problem.
Greenacres is just a short drive to Wellington, which is a nice Market Town with a wide variety of Shops and Supermarkets (including Waitrose). Nearby is The Sheppy’s Cider Farm and Museum, but unfortunately we didn’t get there this time.
I must plug The Globe Inn at Appley, which is well worth the 7 mile trek down a few country lanes. The Chef Owner Johanna cooks some great food from local ingredients to perfection. The 500 year old pub has an eclectic collection of antiques and collectables in a number of intimate rooms, and serves some great Beers too.
All in all, this is a lovely little site for a short stop off or even a longer stay to see some of the area.

What a great little site,
All level pitches
Nice new shower block,
Close to the M5 moterway and wellington town, taunton not too far away either,
Dave and linda are a really nice couple and keep the site top notch,
The sky lark pub 5 minutes walk, offers decent food at affordable prices and the garden cafe in wellington is a good place to eat as well, great for a big breakfast,
Also chelstons the motorhome dealer is on your door step, they have a decent camping shop there,
It is however a basic site with no washing up facilities, shop or laundry, but we loved it

Stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely welcome from the owners and very informative too. A lovely well maintained site. Toilet block immaculate.
Only downside was the road noise and the lack of a pot wash area. I would suggest that the hard standing pitches are swapped with the plain grassed area in the centre of the park so no road noise can be heard.
Otherwise a great site, as stated before close to Chelston Motorhomes, Wellington and a bus ride away from Taunton.
Thought the static animals were a bit weird but hey each to their own.

Third time we have visited this park, each time as good if not better than the last. Toilet and shower block always very clean and welcoming with piped music. Wardens very active around the park, watering plants setting out bollards and cutting grass, generally making everyone welcome. No shop on site, the nearest is in Wellington, pub grub a short walk away but on an unpaved road which is quite busy, so care is needed. Very near to m5 so it makes a good overnighter when travelling up or down the M5. Adult only site does give it a nice feel although because of road noise not altogether quite. Hard to find fault, but being critical would question no washing up area, no hooks or shelves around washbasins for shirts or towels. Great site

We spent 6 nights on the site which was excellent we would certainly stay again.
It is adult only so quiet and peaceful, If a little unsheltered in the middle.
Beautifully kept grounds and toilet blocks are really clean.
I would certainly recommend this site.
Although quite close to the main road not a lot of noise. Perfect for touring the blackdown hills or a stop over for the west country.
Wellington itself has a small asda and a waitrose also an excellent bakers which is all we needed the local pub looked nice but we did not use.

Just spent the bank holiday weekend at Greenacres, what a lovely site grounds well maintained.
Toilets and showers a credit to the owners who are very welcoming and can`t help you enough.
The local pub the Skylark, was just a short walk with meals being two for one well worth a visit. Also within walking distance is Chelston motorhomes and leisure shop, stocked for all your camping needs. Local bus service runs regular to Wellington and Taunton, would highly recommend this site, can`t wait for a return visit.

Used Greenacres as a one night stop-over on the way home from Somerset. Chose it due to it being adults only and loved it.
Beautifully kept site. Nice, friendly owners (oh and Henry the golden lab!). Easy check in on arrival and we got to choose our own pitch. And all for £16 per night for us 2, the dog and EHU!).
We chose pitch number one next to the plastic sheep and sheepdog! They have about 30 hardstanding pitches and a few grass pitches so the choice is yours.
Toilets were spotlessly clean. 3 toilets, 2 showers and 4 sinks (not privacy cubicles) in the ladies. Fresh roses, hand cream and piped music was a nice touch too. Plenty of water points and bins, but no washing up area.
The site is barriered and the gates are shut at night. There is some road noise during the day from the A38 but nothing too intrusive.
There's a brand new pub (Skylark) 5/10 mins stroll from the site but we didn't try it this time (will do on our return). Behind the pub is the bus stop. We caught the bus into Wellington (a small town) for a few hours - £3. 15 each way per adult - no charge for the dog! - where we had a picnic in Wellington Park.
A very well run, peaceful site which we will no doubt return to in the future.

Spent just one night as a stopover on the way back from Cornwall.
A very convenient site, easy to find just off the M5. Well laid out with hard standings, spotless toilet block and almost everything required on an adult-only site.
One small reservation is the lack of washing-up facilities
A short walk away is the 'Skylark' public house which has an extensive menu and an imaginative 'specials' board - also serves a wide range of ales.
The town of Wellington is about 2 miles away and has a small selection of pubs and restaurants.
