The entrance was very pretty with flowers and animals(stone variety), a lovely couple which told us about the facilities and surrounding area. The toilets and showers were immaculate and cleaned regularly, always hot water and heated. The grounds were well kept and no loose grass to stick to your shoes. The pitches were spacious and level. The security barrier was easy to use and had no problems with this. Recommended site not far off the M5 so handy for visiting the south. Nothing seems to much of a problem for the guests visiting.

What a fantastic site! Very pleasant couple who run the site. The toilet block just has to be the best we have experienced. I can't honestly say it is a quiet site because there is a business park with constant traffic during the weekday but, to be honest, we did 'tune' it out after the first day and after 6pm and on the weekends it was very quiet.
Wellington is a very pleasant 25 minute walk and Taunton is a 15 minute bus ride away. The Skylark pub is 10 minutes walk away, but it was very busy and certainly not cosy. We also tried the Chinese restaurant in Wellington which was very good.
There is also a garden nursery right by the entrance which was very good but in need of a good weeding! Chelston Motorhomes is also nearby and worth a visit if you need any items for the motorhome/caravan.

Another visit to this lovely site. Adults only suits us. Got a pitch right inside the entrance and next to a lovely little display of model sheep and sheepdog.
The toilets as ever were spotless, music playing, fresh flowers and hand cream etc. Having a 28ft motorhome we like the easy access from the road.
Owners helpful and friendly.
Good place for visiting Wellington and Taunton only a bus ride away.
The weather was not great but the site has hardstandings (I think all hardstandings)
Will certainly be returning, hopefully fairly soon.

Just returned from 3 day stay at this campsite. Its at Chelston on the outskirts of Wellington. Lovely tidy site. Hard standing pitches with grass adjacent for an awning etc.
Owners very friendly. Toilets/showers were absolutely spotless at all times. (Thats the first thing my better half checks) I think the site takes 30 units and has a big grassed open area in the centre. Adults only site which is one of the reasons we chose. The other reason is that we had a service due at Chelston Motorhomes just a few minutes away.
I have a 27 foot motorhome and access from the main road on to the site is easy.
Caught the bus into Wellington town and stayed for a few hours whilst motorhome being serviced and had a meal at The Skylark pub 5 minutes walk.
Will certainly be returning and I would. Recommend it.

We visited this site for 4 nights what a fantastic time we had. Toilets and showers were excellent cleanliness was a priority no matter what time of day you used them they were always the same standard. We were greeted with a smile and a fantastic welcome.
The site is kept to a very high standard, the pitches are hard standing with grass for your awning which is cut as soon as one moves out before another goes on. The whole site is very well maintained. The new pub which is approximately five minutes stroll away was very good value and friendly.
Close to shops and local amenities and with easy access to many places. We shall definitely be returning. This was our first visit to an adult only site and believe me it will not be the last, We will be looking for more of these sites.

Had to update my review from last year.We used this site as stopover for 3 days on way to Cornwall. Site is nicely laid out with large pitches, you can pitch where you like. Showers and toilets spotless although showers are a little too hot. Owners are helpful and friendly, with plenty of knowledge on places to visit. Taunton and all its shops are 10mins drive away. Good location for touring Cheddar, Glastonbury, Leamington spa, Minehead all within easy driving distance. Added bonus when we arrived this year there is now a new pub called the Skylark which serves meals 5 mins walk away. We will definitely visit this site again.

We visited this site beginning of June whilst touring Dorset and Somerset. A very friendly greeting and nicely set out, we were told to choose any pitch and given advice of where the sun would shine best. One row was along edge of road with trees separating but would imagine it could be quite noisy from traffic along that part.
The toilet and shower block was new and always clean and tidy, only draw back is, no washing up facilities or laundry ,but they do say on web site they are a basic site.
The bus stop was a good walk but an hourly service with good shopping in Taunton, one way and the other direction was Wellington that also had plenty of eating places and a free museum. If touring this part again would definitely stay on this site

This site is one of the best sites we have stayed on. The showers and toilet block are spotless, also have nice touch with flowers and hand lotion. Site is well laid out with plenty of space between each unit, and is well maintained. We used this site as it was just off m5 for a 2 day stopover on our way to cornwall. We also used it again as a stopover on our way home.(will we use this site again) yes .

This is a relatively new site but the owners ( Linda and David ) seem like they have done it for years. The site is very flat so no problems levelling up, toilets and shower block are immaculate and you are treated to low volume music when you enter. Wellington is about a half hours walk away but Chelston motorhomes are just up the road and have a very good camping shop, this is a lovely site and we will come again.

Greenacres touring park is well situated to visit local attractions, you are just 5 mins from the motorway, a pleasant 25 minute walk and you are in Wellington, or if you choose to you can catch a bus, the stop is 5 mins from site. You have a co op & Somerfield store in wellington to stock up with food. Taunton itself has an excellent park & ride £3,20 to visit taunton all day if you wish, (cant be bad). The site itself is adults only, the site is well maintained, the toilet / shower blocks are kept spotless, the pitches are the best hard standing I have ever put a caravan on in 6 years of touring. Dave & Linda are very friendly & are open to any suggestions you may have about the site. Traffic can be a bit loud at peak times but it certainly did not put us off. It was our first visit to this site and it will not be our last we now intend to visit every year.
