Well maintained site in every respect. Although next to A38, the traffic noise never prevented us from sleeping. The M5 it is not!

Facilities very clean and well presented. Only two of each facility might be some queueing if site was busy.

The owners are friendly and helpful. There are hill views to the east, but the vegetation at site boundaries has grown since website pictures were taken.

All the site animal statues are a nice touch.

The gravel pitches are narrow, but wide enough for modern units, the grass alongside is a good size.

Many popular tourist locations in easy reach. Wellington is a bit of a gem, check out the various walking routes and the Emporium.

If visiting Montecute House check out Tintinhul Garden nearby, a hidden gem.

Lovely adults only site. David and Linda give a warm welcome and always there to help.

Lovely quiet site with lovely clean shower/toilet block and sink for pot washing (always plenty of hot water).

Just off M5 Jct 26, so some road noise but nothing to be concerned about. Easy for short stay or longer breaks.

Key code gate and easy walk to pub/Budgeons. Short drive to supermarkets etc.

The site was only a third full all the time we were there, all pitches hard standing with grass area for awning, the grass is left long even after cutting and not collected resulting in grass being brought into caravan.

The pitches are very narrow and close to each other. Amenities block consisted of 4 washbasins, 3 wc's, 2 showers in ladies and similar in gents, the block was kept immaculately clean by Linda, the only downside was showers were push button and only stayed on for about 10 seconds and only ever lukewarm.

There is also a disabled suite with proper shower. Dish washing area outside behind shower block where hot water was very hot! There are no laundry facilities and the information hut was closed due to covid.

There is a small area on site for dog walking.

There is a code controlled barrier into the site along with gates which are closed from 8pm to 8am, but access in and out of site still available. The site is close to the A38 so constant traffic noise at all times.

There is a pub and Costa closeby but have to walk on grass alongside A38 to reach. Ideal location for travelling onto Devon and Cornwall.

Fantastic site all the pitches are hardstanding with a grassed area for an awning and a good size adult only park. Which located 5 minutes off junction 26 M5 on the A38

Facilities were spotlessly clean with excellent COVID measures in place. The owners are very welcoming and do a fantastic job with the site. Some people have commented about road noise. It didn't affect us or our stay. Their is also a small dog exercise area. Security barrier and gate (locked at night) which provides extra security.

We only stayed for one night on our way to Cornwall. This would be a great site for exploring the wider area.

We will definitely be using again and its certainly more than just a 'one night stop over site'

We definitely recommend this site for short or long stays.

A misunderstanding about the lack of facilities meant although we booked for 11 nights we only stayed for 2! When we spoke to the proprietors about this on our second day the response to our query was unpleasant.

The site is level and well kept, a good stopping off point but the noise from the A38 is invasive. We won’t be returning.

Excellent site, clean and well presented. Linda and David are very welcoming and informative.

Exclusively adults only.

Easily accessible from M5. Slight road noise from A38.

Toilets and showers were closed due to Covid19.

Lovely site and it was a shame we were only there for a one night stopover. So friendly, and would have loved to stay longer.

We had heard that it was very noisy with traffic news, but it didn't bother us at all, and the couple who run it were so obliging.

Heard that their showers/toilets are superb but facilities were closed due to Covid. We were even told that we could go and pick some of the gorgeous sweet peas that were growing on site.

We'd love to return there.
