First time out with the van, to test it all works. Live locally so this was an ideal location. Dark when we arrived, but the owner was very helpfully outside with a torch to meet us after the husband had driven past. Good sized pitch with grass area in between, so not too close to next one and room to park a car. Ehu and water, could have had waste connection as well but didn't have the pipe, as new van. Toilets and showers clean and warm. Free WiFi, and good dog walks. Even at this time of year busy. Would recommend, and will return

Coming to the end of a 4 night visit to this site and about to book for next year. Clean, tidy and very well kept. The owner could not be any more helpful, greeting you on arrival and escorting you to your pitch. I would recommend this site all caravan and motorhome users wishing to visit this area.

Another year at this great site all hard standing with your own eletric point and tap drainage Dave the owner will help you set up when you arrive the shower block is always clean with plenty of hot water free WiFi nice to catch up with friends we have made here over the years. Blackpool 7 miles away with the illuminations, cleveleys have great seafront and town with shops to browse around 10 mins drive from the site. Also there is a bus stop just a few mins walk from site that can take you into Blackpool. We have been coming here every year the site gets better and better I hope a lot of people would agree with me about this great site thanks Dave for being a great friend to us all. Craig.

Brilliant small site and well situated for visiting Blackpool. A lovely warm welcome on arrival and taken to our reserved pitch which had fresh water, waste water and electricity. Buses to Blackpool/Fleetwood stop within 100 yards and run every 10 minutes.

Just a 10 minute walk to a pub with food and a fish/chip shop, newsagent and a Costcutter shop.

A real find - definitely will return.

Absolutely superb, this is a flagship site, the best kept site we've ever been on, toilets and showers are cleaner than new and nice hot water for no extra charge.

The site owner is on hand to help if you ever need it, he helped us get water to our barrel straight from the tap.

Internet very fast and no limits! the pitches are 30ft long! and beautifully stoned see pics on the website.

I hate to pay more money but this site is WORTH more than the £15 a night being charged.

I could go on and on I love it and will be back soon.

Just left after spending 4 nights at this beautiful quiet site me my hubby and took with us my mum and dad.

We only booked for 3 nights but because it was so nice stayed another. Dave who owns the site is lovely nothing too much trouble for him thank you. Toilet and shower facilities was always spotlessly clean.

This is a superb find and would recommend if you want somewhere to relax an chill this is the place but also close to Blackpool if you want something more.

Morrisons is about 1 mile up road for both food and petroleum.

Lovely pub 1/2 mile up road that does lovely bar meals, there is bus stop at end of road which can take you all surrounding areas but we just used out car, went to Cleveleys which is a lovely little shopping town and a gawjuss fish and chip restaurant called Kay's.

Went into Blackpool seafront is beautiful used our Merlin passes for Madame tussards, Blackpool tower and Dungeons so had a good day there.

Went to gleeteood bit disappointed thought it was scruffy not what I remembered when we went years ago.

Overall our stay was really good and weather been fab.

We have been coming to Beechwood Stables for the last 10 years now. It's a great site. Each pitch has its own tap, eletric, drainage. When you arrive the owner will show you to your pitch and help you set up and tell you where the local shops and pubs are. The site has two showers and three toilets with plenty of hot water which are free to use, also has wifi so you can use the Internet to find out what's in the local area.

There is a supermarket and petrol station 5 mins drive from the site. The town of Cleveleys 10 mins away with a nice sea front and Blackpool 7 miles away with the famous golden mile of illumnations, pleasure beach.

If you get onto the m6 motorway north you can head for the Lake District which has some lovely views.

I was there just over a week ago, and as anyone who views Google Earth they will definitely see it is not a 5 caravan only site. When I was there there were actually 21 vans on site and not all of them caravan club members either. On the pitch that my van was on the back was facing a stagnant pond and the side overlooked a ditch that the grey water from other vans was hooked up to. On the other side of the ditch was the stables and the effluent from these stables was piped into the ditch. In front of the bungalows front door was a manhole with a broken cover, one had to lift part of this cover to empty the toilets, not very good. I must say the owner is very friendly

Stayed one night to visit family. Very helpful owner, toilets/showers OK, but no dishwashing. All hardstanding, with EHU and grey water drainage as well as water. Pitches big enough for car and caravan side by side. Roadways also gravel.

Reasonable dog walking on narrow, but busy, lane that eventually becomes footpath/cycle path.

Very handy for Blackpool etc.
