Visited beechwood stables this week, we stayed for 5 nights, excellent value for money, the toilets were clean and tidy at all times with an abundance of hot water. Hardstandings were very good.
David met us at the gate, explained everything that we needed to know, even down to the bus times(every 10 minutes) to Blackpool and the opposite way to Fleetwood. The bus stop is only 50 yards away. All in all we would recommend this site to anyone who needs a location close to Blackpool/Cleevelys area. Local pub about 15 minutes walk although we did not use it, but by all accounts provides good food.

I visited this site after reading the review and I must say I agree with all the good points about this site. Dave is very helpful he gets you set up then leaves you to get on with your holiday, which is exactly how it should be .Even though the site was busy, we never had to wait to use the toilet or showers. The only slight down side is the there is no TV signal, you need a sat dish which we will take next year. We only stayed 7 nights, and that's no where near long enough,we plan to have 2 or 3 weeks next time.

Have just visited this site and can only say its a lovely site well kept by Dave the owner who is very friendly and really helpful.
There are 2 showers with plenty of hot water and lovely and clean. Its about 5 miles from Blackpool and a couple of miles from Fleetwood and Clevellys. There is a pub and a chippy within walking distance, also a morrisons supermarket fairly close by, Dave the owner told us all this when we arrived.
Enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again. There is electric hook up available also there is a tap at the back of each van for you to hook up your own water, so you don't have to pull the aquaroll. Each van also has its own drainage pipe. The hardstanding is a full service area.
The site is fairly compact but is lovely for a cl site. The only thing is, we missed the turning for the site, but if that happens you can carry on up the lane and there is an area at the bottom where you can turn around. Will definitely be going back to this site

Beechwood stables is a very nice tidy site with hardstanding and grass as pitches which both have electric points and water supply.
The site has two showers and three toilets which are cleaned every day.
The site also has wifi so you can use your laptop while on holiday. You are 3 mins walk to the local garden centre which has a cafe.
If you like to visit the sea front clevleys is 10 minute drive away it also has lots of useful shops as well. If you want action packed fun go to blackpool which is 7 miles away from the site and visit the pleasure beach and attractions like the illuminations.
I like this site very much and will be returning year after year as we always do.

This is a little gem of a site with large hard standing pitches which are fully serviced. Dave the owner couldn't be more helpful (or laidback).
This site couldn't be better placed for transport links with a bus stop just outside the site. With a bus every 10 minutes into Blackpool or you can cross the road for the bus down to Cleveleys town centre where you can catch a tram to Blackpool.
The train station at Poulton le fylde is only about a mile away if you fancy a day trip into Manchester. Cleveleys itself is a lovely little place where there are numerous cafes and restaurants serving very cheap food.
The promenade here is outstanding and an example to other seaside resorts of how to attract visitors. There is pub half a mile from site which looked nice although we didn't visit.
The only downside to this site was the road noise from the nearby main road, incessant during the day although reasonably quiet at night time. I would definitely go back again if visiting this area

I have to agree with most of what others have said about this site.
Dave the owner is a really nice helpful guy and he is doing his best to upgrade the site, I can imagine its a hard slog when doing it yourself.
The hardstanding area is great, all the pitches have their own water supply and drainage so no trekking to a tap to fill up.
There is obviously still a lot to do here with a few piles of builders rubble and other things spoiling the look of it but I'm sure Dave will get rid of these in time.
The toilets and showers are not as nice as they look on the web site, there has been some damage caused buy inconsiderate users and they could do with some late evening and early morning heating.
There is some road noise but its not intrusive.
All in all a really nice site that will only get better as Dave carries on the improvements.
Well worth a visit.

We have stayed at Beechwood several times in the past and have always found it to be a lovely site. We were delighted after our last visit as work on the hardstanding has been completed along with the completion of the third toilet/shower room. All pitches have individual bays and it is very impressive. There is also Wi-Fi access!
Dave the owner is very helpful and we would highly recommend this site to all.

We stopped at this site on a quick visit to the Blackpool Illuminations.
We wanted a site that was close to the main attractions but in a rural location away from the noise - and this site ticked both boxes.
Although it is a fairly compact site, it does offer a lot for a CL.
There are two areas for pitching, a grass area with electric hook-up and a hardstanding full service area.
We stopped on the newly laid hardstanding areas (with space for around 8 caravan / motorhomes)
The hardstandings have electric, fresh water and mains drainage - and we paid just £10 for the night.
Being a flat area, digital TV reception is good too.
There are three individual washrooms with toilets and sinks. Two also have proper powershowers with variable heat settings and free hot water (unlike some sites that have the push button facilities). There is quite an extensive recycling area too for bottles, paper etc.
When we visited, we had a little trouble finding the site as the sign had blown down and the pitches are actually behind the owner's property. So just to let visitors know, the site is the first entrance on right down New Lane (which is quite narrow).
If you do drive down New Lane and miss the turning, don't panic - although it says it is a dead end, just keep driving. At the end of the lane, just before a bridge there is a wide place to reverse and turn around.
Staying on the site, there is a little road noise during the day but it goes pretty quiet at night with just the farm sounds from the neighbouring horses and geese.
A note to families - The nearest pub to the site is an Ember Inn and only accommodates families with children over 14 years old.
There is a very good bus service (Metro Line 14) available just outside the site and even on a Sunday daytime, the buses to Blackpool, Lytham and Fleetwood were every 10 minutes.
I can only echo other people's comments about the site owner Dave - very helpful and friendly and spent time explaining what facilities there were and what things were available in the local area.

This site is really good. I have been twice this year and plan to make it a regular thing. It is very peaceful, some road noise but nothing too alarming.
There are two toilets and showers, electricity and water. Dave the owner is very friendly and has made the site very pleasant. There is a garden centre nearly next door that has a cafe. The site is only about 2 miles or so from Cleveleys and 4 to 5 miles from Blackpool.
On Sunday's there is a car boot sale just off the first roundabout when leaving the site.
Withing walking distance if turning left and left again there is a pub and a fish and chip shop etc. There is also wifi if wanted.
Well worth a visit.

This is a really nice little site which has a helpful owner. We will definitely go back again soon. There is only one shower but it is clean and has hot water. There are three hardstandings and a large flat field with EHU, we stayed in the field. It is handy for Blackpool and Fleetwood plus the garden centre over the road which has everything including a cafe.
