Lovely clean site, large hardstanding pitches with ehu and main services, good tv reception, site owner very helpful, toilets and showers spotless with lots of hot water showers free only downside no handwash or towels supplied, would visit site again only critic is the wi-fi is free and is great except for some unknown reason it is turned off overnight so beware if your mobile devices updates overnight.

We stayed here over Easter whilst visiting attractions in the area. The owner is very friendly and the site is clean and tidy with hard standing and fully serviced pitches.
Blackpool is a ten minute drive away and there is a bus stop at the end of the lane which we found handy for a night out when we didn't want to drive.
Would recommend this site to others and would stay here again.

Went to this site on the advice from our daughter, very pleased we did. Lovely site easy to get around to Blackpool / Cleveleys / Fleetwood and all by bus if you want to leave your car. Dave, the owner could not do enough for us. Toilets was very clean and the showers had plenty of hot water. All the pitches was hardstanding with EHU water on tap and drainage straight from the caravan, so no need to keep filling the water barrel. A pub 10 mins walk away. We are going back again for 3 days for May bank holiday.

Firstly, we are not Caravan Club members, but were able to stay on this site. The site is within easy travelling distance of Blackpool and the surrounding area, both by car and bus.
The site itself is small and functional. It is almost all hardstanding with little patches of grass between pitches, so it doesn't look very green, bit carparkish. The pitches are level and a good size. Each pitch has its own water supply and when you arrive, the owner connects you up to the mains waste, which seemed like a good idea. However, it has been very hot over the past few days and there was an awful stench coming up from the waste through the drainage in the sinks and shower in the caravan. It wasn't just us either, the caravan next to us had the same problem. There is a chemical toilet emptying point, which is just a manhole in the ground. There are no washing up facilities.
The showers are by far the best showers we have encountered on a campsite, being both very powerful and hot. They also had movable shower heads, so showering a small child would be easy. The showers were free. However, they were quite unappealing aesthetically and in need of upgrading.
The owner was a nice, genuine bloke and very helpful on arrival. There is free wifi available with a code that he will give you.
All in all, it's a bit rough and ready, but a good price and in an area great for Blackpool. We would probably stay here again.

Lovely stay on beechwood again its like home from home for us. Nice and quiet plenty of places to go. Within reach of blackpool clevelys and Lytham St Anne's. Showers are nice and hot and the site is now all hardstanding. The owner is really helpful and gets the van in with you also. Always enjoy our time on this site. Dave gives you chance to set up and have a brew then you can pay the fees. Would like to leave van on longer if we could like some other sites do.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Beechwood Stables. Most of the reviews are accurate. We found the site was very good for our needs. £ 16. 00 per night inc awning is very reasonable. Dave the owner is very helpful and explained how things worked, also gave us information regarding local services etc. The toilets are clean, and lots of hot water, although it would have been nice for some soap and hand drying facilities to be available. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would return to this site in the future.

We stayed 3 nights, Site was unlit at night, pitches are loose gravel and are large, They have their own water and waste on each pitch, Toilet and shower block are adequate and are unisex, location is good for Blackpool Cleveleys and Fleetwood Bus service is also good we parked our car and didn't really need to use it again, the owner was away on holiday and the couple that stood in was his sister and brother in-law, and what a good job they did, nothing was too much trouble, Cost £13.50 a night, good value

A really lovely site on the outskirts of Blackpool.
The owner has upgraded the pitches on the rally field to huge hardstanding pitches with electric, water and a pipe which adapts to your caravan to take the waste water.
2 showers which are accommodated in a bathroom style with sink and toilet. Hot water and plenty of room for your clothes. (One minor moan is to put blinds on all the windows)
Excellent location, bus stop just outside site. At £3. 50 for a day saver on the black and yellow blackpool buses and trams, we never took our car out. We travelled to Fleetwood, Blackpool, Lytham & St Annes.
A short walk (30 mins) takes you to Poulton Le Fylde with an excellent market and a shop selling delicious home made pork pies with lots of pubs.
A week was not long enough, we will be definitely using this site again.

Me and my partner spent 4 nights here this week.
Super weather so had a fab holiday exploring the Fylde coast by bus. Left the motorhome on site the whole time as the bus stop is 1 minute walk from the site and the bus goes into Fleetwood, Blackpool and Cleveleys.
We would have liked to walk to the shops or pub but there were too far away.
My partner has limited mobility so the bus was a boon.
The site is a bit rough round the edges - old stable buildings used for storage.
But our pitch was next to a big field with lots of birds and insects around.
But the toilets/ showers were clean and adequate for number of units on site.
The site was very quiet apart from noise from the road which is so consistent that it turns into background hum quickly.
Having said that we were staying during the week, in school term.
Dave was very helpful.
Pitch has own water, EHU and waste pipe.
All for £13. 50 a night.
Cheap, convenient and comfortable enough.
Great for what we wanted it for - a site with easy access to the coast.
