What an absolute gem. Just returned from a fantastic stay at Yondar, where do I start
1. Owners Alison and (Smiler) could not be more welcoming and helpful.
2. Pitches have an abundance of space by far the biggest we have ever had.
3. Toilets and Showers exceptionally clean, even hand towels and soap provided
4. All areas well maintained.
Would we book again: already have done.

Just returned this afternoon from Yondar, fantastic site, well worth the £42 for three night, bank holiday included too. Kids especially loved the help yourself shop, also had board games, bingo etc, alas no playground on site but my boys are too old for one. Relatively quiet, we stayed in the awning and heard the odd bike revving after roundabout but nothing the site can do about that.
Toilet block was immaculate, very clean, could do with a shelve nearby the shower.
The adjoining field with a small pond (koi inside) was ideal for my boys playing footy/cricket.
Had a crafty look in the pods on the site, pretty good, two lots of bunks really, so sleeps four, has a heater, kettle making stuff.
Only slight issue I could find was the sign for Yondar could be bigger, but apparently I'm a woman who has dicky birds flying around inside my head, but when you're driving and towing something its nice to see where you're heading.
Ate at Louth chippy one night, beautiful F&C (opp Wilko's next to McColl supermarket) relatively cheap too, On the Sunday we already booked a table at the White Horse 2 mins from site heading towards Louth, the food was amazing, not a massive selection but Sunday roast is up there. But do book first.
Would we return, oh yes.

Another lovely stay here we are regular campers and have stayed in many campsites. This is our third visit here to visit family and friends in the area. It's a great site with such friendly and helpful owners. Only a few minutes away from Louth centre and all it has to offer.
This time we decided to stay in the pods and loved it! Luxury ! Bunk beds, a wall heater, kettle and tea coffee making equipment. They were so warm and cosy didn't need half the bedding we brought and would normally use for camping! Bargain at £30 a night - sleep 4. We will be returning :-)

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending an event at cadwell park, and what a great site it is!
The owners could not do enough to help, including jumpstarting our car after we found we left the ignition on all night!
The camp is very well kept, there are brand new wetroom showers, and really nice touches like a little shed with books and games that you can help yourself to.
Will definitely be visiting again next time I go to cadwell park, and if you like motorsports it is only a 10-15 minute drive from campsite too

We are now entering our 5th year of our monthly visits to Yondar and every time we arrive we receive a warm, friendly welcome from Alison and Adrian. The site is always well maintained with the toilets are shower facilities being kept clean at all times. Each year improvements have been made, an information point, small shop selling basic items, and games, DVDs, books etc available for loan. Camping pods have been introduced and we look forward to the exciting new developments planned for 2015.
We enjoy our visits so much it is like our second home.
Good luck for the future

Well what can I say ? Alison/Adrian do not change too much on your site. Shopping about a mile away in the beautiful town of Louth, Coast around twelve miles away. The site itself beautiful with showers/toilets absolutely spotless. ( And being upgraded ). Honesty shack with fridge / freezer/books/ Milk/ etc, Grass Pitches flat and well manicured with electric hook up and hard standing on request. I spent 5 nights on site on my own sea fishing and was then joined by 15 friends for 4 nights who camped / used the new pods which they found perfect ( heated/kettle/etc. ). ( Cost) I have paid almost double the price for a pitch which in no way could compare to this. The owners are a wealth of knowledge and extremely approachable and hopefully we will return next year and make this an annual event. Kindest Regards Kevan Ross ( Caravan Kev )

Brilliant site, good level pitches well manicured and plenty of space between pitches. Toilets and shower facilities very clean and usable with good access. Well appointed shed with fridge and freezer for the use off campers on a first come basis, library and games in shed and a nice little touch chocolate and soft drinks available. Only negative was lack foot paths on way into Louth. Would definitely stop again. Maybe in one of the pods (looked amazing).

We have just returned from Yonda campsite after four wonderful days. The site was peaceful and immaculate, including the toilets and shower. The owners were so friendly and helpful even though involved in the local Race for Life which was on at the weekend. As for Louth itself, it's a stunning little Georgian town with lots of independant shops to suit all tastes, an indoor and outdoor market and some lovely pubs with fantastic restaurants. Add to this, Yonda is only half an hour from Sutton on Sea and Lincoln, with the beautiful Wolds on their doorstep. A great place to stay, whether for a long weekend or a week or two, we shall certainly be back!

It has been four years since our last visit to this site and the site still looks clean and well kept and the toilets still look new! Yes, it is basic but it is great base and you are welcomed by the owners. No play area but there is a small shed with board games, top trumps and books that you can borrow and information on the local area. There is also a fridge and freezer for storing milk etc. And recharging cool blocks. Very reasonable price too.
We had a quick look inside the new sleeping pods and saw that they consist of two bunkbeds and a kettle. They were well insulated and warm! Great for cyclists or walkers who wish to limit the amount of kit they bring with them.
We will return to this site.
