A gem of a site. We only stayed 3 nights. We were made very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The site was spotless. I wish our shower at home was as spacious. The toilets (looks like portaloos, believe me, they are not) were very roomy, they are plumbed in with hot and cold water.
As soon as we arrived, we were told about the kennels just down the road, didn't really notice them.
Louth is only about 1.5 miles and Mablethorpe is about 12 miles
We'll go back there next year, probably stay a little longer. The atmosphere was so chilled, brilliant! Well worth staying there

Spent 4 days at this camp site and it was absolutely beautiful. The owners Adrian and Alison were fantastic people, nothing too much trouble for them
Toilets and showers were spotless considering we went when it was the big weekend meet at cadwell, you would never have thought so, was so nice and quiet. Enjoyed it so much, we left our van there and are going back again this weekend, plus our daughter and family are taking their tent
Cant wait to go back, never met such friendly people, It's a little gem of a site

Just spent a few days on this site and would recommend it to anyone.
Louth is a lovely town with lots of small shops including Butchers where you can buy traditional Lincolnshire food, including proper Lincolnshire sausages.
Adrian (Smiler) and Alison are great hosts and very welcoming. They keep the site and facilities spotless and nothing is too much trouble.
This has to be the best CL/CS I've ever been on.
Put Louth and Yonder on your list of places to visit, you won't regret it.

We had a great weekend. We are 5 bikers from Ipswich and Wivenhoe and were made very welcome at this site, so I would say biker friendly. Very clean toilets and showers.
A big Bonus approx 6 mile from Cadwell Park. Garden centre 500 yards from site do a great breakfast. Pub 1 mile away does great food of an evening. Louth town centre is great on a Friday and Saturday evening with live groups, people of Louth very friendly and we had a great time. Hope to go again soon.

Just returned from this site, stayed over the Easter Bank Holiday. Stayed in a touring caravan, 2 adults and 2 children. Smiler (Adrian) was out straight away to greet us and showed us where best to put our unit.
Toilets and shower are great, what a bonus to go on a CS which does offer these facilities. They were spotless all the time, thanks to Alisons hard work. The shower is better than most commercial sites we have stayed at, and big enough for the me to shower both kids at once.
Great location being so close to Louth with its little shops and market, and other coastal areas. Bike hire was available, although we didn't take this up. Great pubs near by offering good food. Smiler recommended the Royal Oak, food fantastic - give it a try.
Overall I would give this site 11 out of 10, the owners cant do enough for you, it is very peaceful and great for a relaxing break. I will definitely be returning and will also recommend to family and friends

Just returned from a bank holiday weekend stay at this recently established campsite, 2 families (2 adults and 2 children in each). Adrian was on site to meet us on arrival and was very helpful, showing us where best to pitch our tents. He gave us information on the surrounding area including greenway cycle routes and even let us use his jet wash to clean the bikes on our return.
Don't be put off by the portaloo and shower facilities as they are fully plumbed in and are very hot and clean at all times. An additional sink and mirror somewhere for shaving or brushing teeth would keep the toilet cubicles free.
Even though there wasn't a play area for the children they managed to entertain themselves.
Very good value for money and would definitely recommend and revisit this site.

We visited this lovely site with our friends, we got a lovely welcome from the site owners Alison & Adrian, they were so helpful making sure we had every thing we wanted, we hired bikes from the site & went on some lovely Rides through the lovely countryside obviously stopping off at the pubs along the way. We visited the lovely town of Louth which is only about a miles walk a way.
The toilets and showers are lovely and clean and the water hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be definitely going again.

What a lovely peaceful little site, with gorgeous views over the Lincolnshire Wolds. The site is well maintained and the toilet facilities always clean. Yondar is easy to find, just on the edge of Louth. It is also within walking distance of this picturesque market town. A garden centre, with restaurant is located just down the road and you will also find a golf course within a mile. Well worth a visit
