 Such a lovely site

A hidden gem it’s in a orchard with lovely fruit trees but still enough room,

Toilet is very large big enough for a wheelchair as is the shower room & both are immaculately kept very very clean & the owner is very friendly & professional,

We will definitely go back,

You shouldn’t miss this hidden gem you won’t be disappointed,

Really lovely site and expertly managed and run. Fantastic location. Very happy and wished we'd had longer to stay.

Good standards all round, including shower and WCs, nicely maintained.

Great location for our passion which is walking.

Nice peaceful site next to a fishing lake. The Orchard is well maintained and has all the necessary facilities which are clean & tidy. Fishing is excellent and well stocked.

New owners are now in place and working hard to improve the site, both are lovely hosts - good luck we will return

Stayed here for two nights over Bank Holiday. New owners were due to take over from this week. Site was situated in a lovely orchard.

Electric shower and toilet with basin were available. EHU was included in the £20 per night site fee.

Adult only and no dogs suited us fine. We had cycle rides to the local Rother Valley Country Park and the opposite way was across fields and country lanes through Woodhall, Harthill to Shireoaks then Worksop.

We returned using the canal tow path to Kiveton Park past locks and the most beautiful scenery. About 20 miles round trip. The highlight of our stay.

Fishing was also available on site.

My husband and I have just had 4 lovely nights at this nice and peaceful site set in an orchard. Only one toilet and one shower but not a problem with such a small site.

Run by a lovely couple who look after you and the site well.

Lots of walks in the area, we walked to Rother Valley Country Park, took about 50 mins.

Bus stop on main road to Sheffield, Rotherham etc.

Duke of Leeds pub is about 15 mins walk although we didn't go we heard it was a nice pub which served good food.

We are already looking forward to coming back again.

A big thank you

What a smashing place to stay, David and his wife were great, nothing too much trouble. We had a slight problem with our caravan and David knew exactly where to send us to rectify the problem. My wife really enjoyed being able to pick an apple from the tree and eat it.

2 fishing lakes on site plus a cooked breakfast being available is an absolute bonus.

The Duke of Leeds pub is a 10 minute walk serving traditional pub grub in a nice environment.

Pitching is on grass but drains really well, as previously stated the grass in maintained to an excellent standard, tv reception was excellent the 2 toilet/shower rooms were very clean and tidy and all just a few minutes drive from the M1 near Sheffield. We'll be back

This location and the welcome that awaits are a guarantee that when we are in the area again we will book early to ensure that we can revisit,

Its all been said by the other reviews in that its clean, tidy, spacious and so peaceful, child and dog free ( a real bonus)

We will be back, Many Thanks to Dave & Marilyn

We stayed at this site for only one night to break our journey from Norfolk to Glasgow (husband had won an item on ebay located in Sheffield hence our route)! What an absolute gem of a site. It's an adult only site. The gentleman who owns the site was absolutely charming.

The pitches are in an orchard with lots of space for 5 vans. We were invited to help ourselves to apples and plums not just the windfalls, we were invited to pick from the trees.

Quite honestly I have never tasted such delicious apples (Discovery) and came home with quite a few. There are hook ups, toilet and shower which were spotlessly clean. Orchard is gated and there is a security gate at the entrance. Security lights to guide you to the shower/toilet when it's dark.

As somebody else said this site is soooooooooooo good you have to leave a review BUT you really don't want to tell too many people in case you can't get in next time you want to make a booking. Keep up the good work.

We have just spent three nights here and would like to nominate it for 'site of the year'! It was a wee hidden gem. Cleanliness 100%; Surroundings 100%; friendliness 100%.

It's a very small quiet site so maybe not perfect for everyone as there is no shop or bar etc. But we ate fruit straight from their apple and plum trees. We 'bramble picked' round the lake, and we even ate freshly laid eggs from their hens.

Our caravan stood on a grassy lawn which was excellently kept. And the provision of electric hook-ups, and easy access to water was way beyond expectations for such a small site.

Thank you to owners Marilyn and David for providing such comfort at such low cost.

Our second visit to this lovely small site in a beautiful orchard in quiet residential village. David and Marilyn are the friendliest and most helpful site owners we have met - nothing is too much trouble. Toilet and shower is kept spotlessly clean, pitches immaculate.

Its such a shame they cant get permission to expand the number of pitches available due to local protests. The local social club welcomes visitors at bargain prices, plus there is now a beautiful refurbished pub opposite the village church within walking distance which we were told does great food.

There are a couple of takeaways, hairdressers and a bike shop at the top of the road, a coop supermarket nearby, and the site has its own fishing lakes. A little gem! Adults only
