Spent a lovely week at Beeston Regis in a tent, in summary;
Good points
The view – amazing! we were on the front row of the touring site so we opened our tent every morning onto an amazing sea view.
Very close to the beach – some quite steep steps (anyone with any mobility problems would find these hard to manage I’d say) take you directly from campsite to the beach – what more could you want if the sun is shining. The beach is great, very quiet as it’s situated between two seaside towns so just locals and people from campsite on it really. Dogs are allowed on the beach as well. Good rock pools for looking for crabs with the kids.
Children’s Playground – nice size playground, kept my two amused while we were at the site. There is another one in the static caravan area but its not as good as the touring one.
Location – it’s a quite peaceful site but within walking distance to Sheringham, about 15 mins over the beach (with kids) or 25 mins over the Beeston Bump which gives some great views and adventures along the way. About 10 mins in car to Cromer, 25 mins to the seals at Blakney.
Bad points
The showers – the toilet block is within a portacabin which in itself is fine, it was clean but the showers just let it down, the cubical are tiny making getting changed a bit of a challenge, especially if you have small children with you! Also had a few cold or luke warm showers and heard other people saying the same.
A shop - considering the size of the site and its location to the nearest towns we were really surprised there wasn’t a shop on site – would just have been nice to walk and get a paper in the morning or for the kids to get some sweets etc. Without having to get in the car.
Overall we’d definitely go back there for the location, direct access to the beach etc, but it would benefit from better showers and a small shop in my mind.

A lovely site with breathtaking views of the coast from the cliff top, lovely walks & great access to a pretty much private beach
Location - Situated on beeston cliff, just north of Cromer
Pitches - Mostly flat super size pitches, in a street type arrangement, electric hookups are on shared posts so on some pitches the electric points are a stretch, there is 1 Water point, waste water disposal (which is at ground level) & 1 chemical disposal point all located around the WC/shower block
Toilets / Showers - the site has 6 toilets and showers + disabled facilities, the shower block was warm, very clean and maintained to a good standard
Facilities - there is an out door washing up areas & laundry facilities
Children’s Entertainment - There are 2 reasonable sized parks & a huge playing field near the church which is free from dog walkers
WI-FI - Free WI-FI is available but we could not receive the signal on our pitch !
TV Reception - Pretty poor, we managed to get 4 channels in analog, but no chance of digital at the moment
Fishing - There is a large fishing pond which is £3.50 for the duration of your stay + a lovely beach. All on site
Out & About - Cromer is a great day out if its sunny, with lashings of sandy beach, A superb pier, a small town centre, small fun fair (for the kids), cinemas, museums & super markets.
Just down the road (10-20 minutes walk) is Sherringham with its beautiful steam trains and lovely beaches, a great Saturday market and reasonable town center

Have returned this week from 3 excellent days camping on Church Fields beautiful campsite, within this Caravan Park. Unfortunately had to cut short our visit due to a family emergency, and Ian & Jo could not have been more concerned and kind. From our arrival on the Sunday we were warmly welcomed and felt 'at home' immediately.
Toilet/shower block and wash-up facilities spotlessly clean 24/7 and excellent unlimited hot water also. All waste & recycling bins hidden from view and cold water tap drinking water easily accessible from all pitches.
What views! Cliff-top location absolutely fab, right on The Norfolk Coast Path, approx 20mins one way into Sherringham over the 'Beeston Bump' and approx 1hr the other way into Cromer. The beach is easily accessible by private steps down from the cliff top. As Jo was so kind in crediting our 'missed nights' for future use, we can't wait to return to pick up from where we left off in this most relaxing of locations. Well done to all the Team and keep up the excellent work you do, thankyou. (Bus stop right outside on the main road takes you into Cromer/Sherringham and the open-topped bus ride back from Cromer, after we had walked there and looked around was excellent)

WE DID EASTER WEEKEND HERE AND IT WAS BRILLIANT. THE PITCH WE HAD WAS RIGHT ON THE CLIFF EDGE OVERLOOKING THE SEA WITH SHERRINGHAM TO OUR LEFT AND CROMER TO OUR RIGHT.
WE HAD THE MOST FANTASTIC VIEWS AND DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO PUT UP OUR AWNING, WE PARKED SIDEWAYS ON AND HAD LOVELY VIEWS. SHERRINGHAM YOU CAN WALK TO OVER THE HILL OR DOWN THE SANDS, WE LIKE THE SANDS. CROMER ALSO WE WALKED DOWN TO ALONG THE SANDS. WE GOT A BUS BACK. THESE RUN ALL DAY SO IF YOUR FEELING TIRED ITS EASY. SHERRINGHAM A GREAT SHOPPING PLACE, NICE TOWN. CROMER OK BUT NOT AS GOOD, WE THOUGHT. STEAM TRAIN JOURNEY YOU MUST DO.
THE STAFF ON SITE HELPFUL ESPECIALLY THE WARDEN WHO HELPED US WITH A ELECTRIC EXTENSION FREE OF CHARGE. SHOWER BLOCK A LITTLE DATED BUT OK. BE READY TO DO A DETOUR AT KINGS LYNN, WE DID AND BOY DID IT SAVE QUEUING.

We are a family of 4 with children aged 10 and 7 and we had a great time.
This is primarily a static site but has a camping field set aside for tourers and tents. It enjoys a fantastic location looking directly out across the North Sea with direct access to a huge expanse of sandy beach (via steep steps down the cliff face)and its on the Norfolk Coastal Path.
The beach really is wonderful. Sandy, quiet, gently shelving and it goes on for miles.
Being perched on the cliff edge the site is exposed to the wind, so its worth taking storm straps and listening to the weather forecast for anything particularly severe.
There are a couple of children's play areas which kept my 7 year old entertained (but not enough for the 10 year old).
Bad points? Well, there is no shop on site, the closest being a 10-15 min walk down the road. The toilet block is contained within a portacabin which whilst basically clean, has seen better days. The showers were a little hit and miss being cold on a couple of occasions during our stay. Also, if your vehicle is over 2M high you will be unable to pass under the railway line which runs alongside the site (no noise from this by the way), and so will have to cross the line by ringing the signalman for permission. This is fun at first, but becomes something of a faff after a couple of days.
So in summary, a wonderful location let down slightly by the quality and quantity of facilities. Personally I would go again, my wife would not - take from that what you will.
Near by there are the towns of Cromer and Sheringham. We preferred Sherigham as a place to stroll around. We did visit during the Cromer carnival which provided good entertainment (fun fair, red arrows, fireworks, etc) but perhaps did not show Cromer off at its best due to the sheer volume of people.

Had a three night stay here over the Easter weekend. The site is nicely laid out, with decent pitch sizes. We were on the front row with the best sea view you could ask for.
It is not a site for the feint hearted; I counted 75 quite steep steps down from the cliff top to the beach. Beeston Hill between the site and Sheringham is a great place to climb to see the view all around. If you don't want to do the full climb, there is a lower path which avoids having to do so. Go to the Cromer side of the site and there is a ramp access to the beach at West Runton.
The toilets are very clean, warm, with lovely hot showers (they are in a mobile block not a proper building but this didn't affect the quality of the facilities).
The village of West Runton is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Sheringham about 20 mins. The nature reserve is lovely to walk around. The steam train, Poppy Line, which goes from Sheringham to Holt was an enjoyable way to pass the time. We will be back!

Myself the wife and the twins (2.5yrs) have just come back from Beeston after having 3 wonderful days staying on Beeston camping and caravan park.
The view over the sea is breathtaking and thanks too the camping site not having that many pitches (40 ish) it has a lovely friendly feel too it,Ive never thought that staying on a large commercial site.
There's no club house so for us that was a bonus as it would have spoilt the relaxed and quiet atmosphere.
The staff are superb and very friendly and will do what they can too help you I found, the toilets and showers were lovely and clean and the general site well maintained.
I most also point out there prices were amazing.Real bargain.
We will be back as soon as we can.

We enjoyed a great weekend on this lovely site. It is in a fabulous location with great views of the sea. All the pitches were of a great size(we have a large tent and still had loads of space). They are also clearly marked out. The toilets and showers were kept very clean indeed and we never had to wait and I believe the site was fully booked. There is a great play area for the children and the site will be even better when the steps are completed giving direct access to the lovely beach (this is due to be finished in July). It is a quiet site where everyone seemed to have respect for there fellow campers. We will definitely be returning again but not sure it will be in July or August unless I was assured that the adjoining field was not going to be in use by groups.

This park is beautifully situated with breath taking views. The touring and camping area is located right on the cliff top and very well thought out. There are 40 pitches I believe and everyone one of them is extremely generously sized.
I last visited the Park 2 years ago and they have continued to improve the facilities. Step access is about to begin and it should be finished by mid July which will be another fabulous bonus to the park. They no longer have a shop but with to local stores within walking distance this really doesn’t matter. Reception are selling ice creams and the shop has been converted into a brilliant laundry. They also have two vending machines in there for those chocolate lovers.
The toilets are immaculately clean and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. I have seen the same ladies in the reception since we first started visiting 6 years ago and they always remain cheerful and welcoming. We actually look forward to seeing them!
You are only able to make a booking if you pay for your stay in full but this really works to your advantage. It means on arrival you just have to check in and you are on your way. No queuing, waiting for people to sort payments out etc. (like so many other places I have been too) leaving you with more time to get set up and enjoy this wonderful park and surrounding areas.
I truly can not sing this park’s praises enough. If you are prepared for a bit of wind, you can not be disappointed.
Well done to all the staff running Beeston Park. We will be booking our next stay at Beeston over the next couple of weeks. We miss it already and have only been home one day!

Not a lot to say about this site as only stayed for 2 nights. It is a quiet tranquil site set on a cliff top, with beautiful sea views and some lovely walks within a beautiful area. Pitches well spaced, some with trees and shrubs for privacy. Never used facilities and having no children or dogs, cannot comment on these. Only downside is no protection from wind when it is blowing in from sea, but apart from that would definitely go again.
