Arrived at the site, nice polite greeting and had pre booked the pitch. This is always worth doing if you can. Check out the website and plan and then choose when you book. This site is great and right on the cliffs between Sheringham and West Runton. The views are amazing. It can get windy there at times so beware campers! The toilets and showers are good and very clean and well looked after. Maybe a bit crowded in the busy periods though. Overall a very good site and great walks along the cliffs and the beaches. Only a couple of niggles! the waste and the water are not very well signed, we had to ask a couple of people. The shop was not open but I put this down to the fact that we went at the end of the season. Great play area for the kids but tucked away so may be hard to keep an eye on them from your unit! Some great fields next door to play ball and fly kites. These fields I have been told take groups in August. The site also is next to the local church so if you are looking to attend Sunday services then it is right on your door step.

Just come back from one of the few hot weekends this year! This site definitely comes with a sea view! There aren't too many pitches for tents / caravans (I would estimate about 40ish) and the field is on the edge of a cliff (fenced off!). The pitches are a very generous size and the shrubs that seem to have been planted recently will eventually give some privacy. We had electric hook-up which seems to be provided to most pitches.
The toilet blocks were close by and it seemed that they were always being cleaned. The ladies were light and airy with enough showers and toilets. My hubby did say that the gents didn't seem to sound as nice as the ladies but I didn't have personal experience!
There's a great play area for kids with a lovely sandpit that kept mine amused for ages, allowing us to relax.
Sheringham is a few minutes drive away (you could walk it - about 10-15 mins I would think) and is a lovely place, with shops, a great beach and a steam train. We ate in the pub and had a takeaway from one of the many fish and chip shops - both fab and very friendly.
Apparently, the site have planning permission to rebuild the steps down to the beach from the site that were previously washed away and they should be in place next year.
I would thoroughly recommend this site for all ages (there were families / adult groups / retired couples there) and we'll definitely be back.

Just back from 5 days here - weather absolutely foul for the 1st 3 days and many many thanks to the lovely peeps who rushed out and helped us put our brand new tent up, would have gone straight home otherwise!
The field we camped in was very well laid out and spacious, the toilets / shower block was very good and easily accessible pretty much from anywhere and was very clean and maintained / cleaned constantly. The showers were always very warm and very powerful. The childrens play area was fantastic with a wonderful sand pit.
The field was very open with not much in the way of shelter so when the wind came it did feel a bit like Everest base camp but new shrubs have been planted so maybe once these take hold it could be different. Also the shop had only just reopened and had very little in the way of groceries. There are no recycling facilities and it would have been nice to bin glass / bottles / paper etc seperatley.
There are no longer steps down to the beach due to cliff erosion but it is a short walk to Runton for beach access and nice 15 min walk to sheringham.
All in all loved it and would def recommend.

Booked this the Friday morning before the first May Bank holiday. Wanted a site to take our dog and this seems to be favoured for dog owners as there are no specific areas where you are put. Site is well maintained. No shop though but West Runton only a few minutes walk so not any problems with us. Excellent cliff top walks and some beautiful scenery which was very pleasing. It looks like a newly refurbished play area with climbing frames, activity course and a large sandpit which our daughter spent most of her time in when we were relaxing. Toilet block clean and tidy with fold down seat in shower cubicles. Plenty of hot water. Toilets cleaned 4 times a day we were told by one of the friendly staff. They had a problem with the ladies which they attended to immediately they knew.
Nice and quiet site with plenty of space. Well laid out pitches. Would have liked an information pack when we arrived to show us places to visit, walking routes etc. Priced reasonably at £45 for 2 adults and dog with electric hook up for 2 nights bank holiday weekend. Generally very glad we found the site and would definitely go again.

Not much of a review to write here at the moment. Tried to pitch here at Easter but the wind just blew us away. The staff were great and gave us a three day credit to use for later in the year. Now looking forward to choosing a time when there will be no wind. It really is right on the cliffs. Will report back again when we manage to hold things down.

I stayed at the site for four nights. Had a really good pitch right at the front near the cliff edge. All in all this is a great site and although the facilities are not new, they are clean and the showers were always hot and very powerful. The site staff were very nice and seem to run things very well indeed. The location is really good. Lovely beach walks with the dog and great bike rides either way along the coast and the sea view is fantastic. I will definitely go back to this site.

I phoned and booked up this site at the start of the season. At the time of booking we had to pay in full which I found a bit off-putting as I was told it was non refundable on cancellation. Anyway, we booked up and had a great time! The showers and toilets are clean and tidy, and all the staff we came into contact with were friendly and efficient. We forgot our hook up lead so the maintenance man who I think was called Vince lent us his (for a deposit of £20 which he gave us back!). The steps to the beach were out of action but there is plenty of room with a huge exercise field next to the pitches. All the pitches have great views over the cliffs to the sea - our children are not quite toddling so the cliffs weren't a problem but it is worth checking you are not on the front rows if you have children which may wander off! We had to pay £40 deposit on arrival for a swipe card, but we got it back with no problems when we left. All of us are looking forward to our next visit!

I have just returned home from this site. The site is in a great position overlooking the sea but the facilities are poor by today's standards. There are three showers with no privacy when undressing and the pot washing is out in the open with only cold water.I last visited this site eight years ago, I preferred it then.

We visited here our first time camping since we were kids and had a great time stayed on the paddock myself my partner and four children who range from 20 to 11months very peaceful, went for walks with a pushchair, down the steep stairs to the beach yeah it is steep but we were warned and managed pushchair and all, we walked the hill and yes the cliff are not fenced off but we are there to look after our children not to let them roam whenever you feel like it, the wash rooms were kept very tidy and clean its not the parks fault if you dont pull the chain after yourself ,expensive I suppose but it was what we was looking for peace and quiet, the only down points are the staff in the office are a bit rude and the other point is you cant leave the site after six without a pass which requires a forty pounds deposit very very expensive I thought but we got what we were looking for A GREAT TIME!

Just a quick weekend stopover, was a bit dubious after reading some reports but no need to worry. Campsite was excellent.First class facilities and always clean, reasonable price and all with free electric. Just a 5 minute walk into Sherringham and the shops and 5 minutes to Cromer by car.
