Excellent site with hard standing pitches.
Very friendly people running the site.
Toilets and showers very clean.
Spent one of the best new years in the Yew Tree pub with live music. Cider sold on site brewed by the owners.

What a find, took a gamble as wanted to stay close to a pub as we were here for New Year’s Eve.
The site itself is small, I’d say about 15 pitches plus some long term plots dotted about, some grass, some hard standings, majority with electric available.
It’s tidy and the toilet block and showers are immaculate, warm and the shower is the best I’ve ever had on a site, powerful and free!
I think good value at £20 a night.
The pub is very welcoming with a good range of cask beers and of course cider a plenty. Sadly no food served but they have some really nice cheese or cider infused ham cobs with home made pickle.
Finally another bonus, our black Labrador was made just as welcome both in the pub and on site.
Rare I say this but we’re coming back here for sure !

Very nice little site. Owners very helpful.
Bus stop close by for public transport. Ross was relatively near, so we walked into town, which took about 40 minutes.
Ross is lovely and we had a hearty lunch in The Man of Ross PH.

What a gem from both the facilities on site catering for disabled, to the yew tree inn serving homemade food and cider from its own farm
So if both great food and cider go together this place is a definite place to visit and stay

Having read reviews and seen the pictures online, it wasn't quite what we were expecting but our worries were unfounded.
This was January with snow on the ground so a little bleak but a great position to explore Ross and Hereford with the bus stop right at the entrance.
Washing facilities were spotless and warm but the winning factor had to be the friendliness of the staff and the food. We stayed 3 nights, usually self cater but thought why do that when staying at a pub.
Right choice - good menu, good portions, fast service and excellent food. One of the best ham, egg and chips I have come across. Great to find a site open all year - not that many around.
Debating if £20 a night in Jan is a little high but food good value in pub so evens out.

This is a great site - it's next to a pub and is a cider farm. You can camp in the orchard too. The toilets in the pub campsite are amazing and the showers.
The owners run a cider festival in late August - it is such a chilled out place then. You can walk to Ross on Wye over the fields - it's a nice walk rather than going down the road.
Also the pub does food some nights and has live music on and is dog friendly.

By far one of the warmest welcomes we've received on arrival to pitch up. Very friendly & helpful indeed. It is was it is this site - as someone has posted - a work in progress.
The new toilet block is tip top - small, but then it only serves a few pitches. Very tidy & clean, couple of loos, disabled facility with shower.
If the grass was a good as the pub 'garden' area this would rank very highly indeed. We paid £20 per night - we've had more for less cash at other sites - but once the old toilet cabins are gone & the grass tidied up this site will look the part.
Beware of pitch number 1 - the locals park their pickup trucks & vans etc opposite when they call in for their early evening pint! You'll need a caravan mover if you're bad at reversing - the gravel pitches are more hard-core than usual pebble/gravel.
And be warned there is was no food available on Saturday night - (which was a reason for choosing a pub with caravan pitches ! But hey ho. Would recommend this place for a stop-over.

The Campsite is behind the pub with brand new showers /toilets and the hardstandings have EHU hookup.
Pub really welcoming, very dog friendly and fantastic home cooked food, lucky enough to stay on a Thursday Pie and Pint night. They also brew their own Cider and Perry!

Just returned from a few days at this site, what can I say. This is a fantastic little site with a real cracker of a pub attached. We ate there twice, delicious home cooked food with great ales and cider all served by great staff. The area offers lovely walks and a trip into Ross was well worth it. We will visit again as soon as we can.
