 Just spent a night at this lovely little site tucked away off of the A49 near Ross-on-Wye.
Site owner/Pub Landlord and his wife extremely pleasant and helpful.
As mentioned in previous review the facilities are a little basic, however they are adequate.
Site is currently being upgraded although this did not disturb us in any way.
The pub itself is charming and full of character and the drinks are reasonably priced.
Would recommend and intend to return at some point in the not too distant future!

Tent, 2 people, 1 car. £5pn
This site is basic. Being out of season and the really friendly owner saying they don't normally open this time of year, we weren't expecting much. But we couldn't complain because of how cheap he allowed us to stay there for.
The toilets are in need of a paint and scrub down. I'm guessing this would be done closer to the time they open up.
There was hot water at no extra charge.
No laundry facilities or washing up points.
It does have electrical hook up.
There is a pub on site which does food, has quiz nights and lots of friendly locals to help you out in the surrounding area.
I would say this site is perfect for anyone who doesn't mind basic, on a bit of a budget, who enjoys speaking to locals and getting off the beaten track.
The drive to Ross on Wye is 10 mins. Hereford about 20 mins.
I would definitely use this site again just on how friendly and welcoming the owners and locals were.
