I stayed here for a night before attending a navigation course in the area - it was one of the few sites in the vicinity that was open all year around. I received a very friendly welcome from the staff in the pub and was directed around the back to the camping field, which was essentially an extension of the beer garden for the pub. This obviously wasn't an issue in February, but might be in the summer. Caravans had their own separate area away from the pub. The toilets and showers seemed to be brand new and were still being finished by the looks of things. The shower was one of the best I've used on a campsite, although there only appeared to be one of them. There were two washing up sinks within the toilet/shower block and the block seemed clean and well looked after.

Stayed at this site for four nights with our tourer, what a nice little site the owners are very friendly and welcoming, the main road runs close to the site but that didn't disturb us. The new shower block is modern and crept clean. The food in the pub is good value and a good pint too. Will definitely visit again

Lovely little site, £15 non leccy and £17 with, new shower and loo block, free showers. Pub does good food but be aware food is only served till 7pm on sat night, lovely Sunday lunch too. Going southbound on A49 from Hereford drive past pub and take next left which takes you round the back to the campsite.

A really good little site, friendly staff, toilets and showers are basic but cleaned everyday, nice pub on site with good selection of ales and local ciders, staff allowed my teenage daughter to use wifi facilities if she could not get a signal outside. Not recommended for young children. As no playground available.

3 mature ladies in a motorhome, away for a girly weekend at Yew Tree Inn Campsite. What a lovely weekend. They were so friendly, the cider was great, the food was delicious and cheap and we really couldn't have asked for a more relaxed weekend. We experienced cider tasting, all made on Broome Farm, just down the lane. Ross on Wye is just a short drive away. The facilities ( loos & showers) are basic but clean, the site is small and sloping but if you want a campsite which is compact and bijou with a really big welcome, this is the one to book into! Thank you for making our stay memorable!

A 2 night stay in the Motorhome, family of 5 plus 2 dogs, £15 per night. Stayed here even though living only 31 miles away. Chose this site because it had an Inn attached to the site. The site was a basic one with regards to the toilet & shower block and in need of modernisation. Several caravans there on seasonal pitches. It has plenty of electric sockets around, water close by, nicely mown grass and concrete hardstandings for wheels. A well stocked supermarket just 2 minutes walk away and some nice paths for walkers. The owners of the site/Inn were very friendly, interesting and easy going. The meals were delicious with large portions, very reasonably priced and well worth trying. It is close to the A49 but easy to ignore.

Nice cheap site at £5 a night for a single person in a small tent.
Toilet block is adequate. Showers are a 50p token to be purchased from the pub.
Good location if touring, close to main routes.
Beer in pub was Wadworths and Ludlow. I found that the food that I ate on the one night that I was there was cheap but basic.
The landlord was ill when I was there - when he appeared he pushed the staff into speeding up service.

Visited this site for 4 nights with our tourer on arriving we found it to be a lovely site, but the toilet blocks need updating. The toilet and shower blocks was in need of cleaning when we arrived and was not cleaned in the 4 days we were at the site, in honesty they were disgusting. At £15 a night and a charge for the shower. Apart from the condition of the toilets the site would be worth a visit. I will not be returning.

Just spent a night at this lovely little site tucked away off of the A49 near Ross-on-Wye.
Site owner/Pub Landlord and his wife extremely pleasant and helpful.
As mentioned in previous review the facilities are a little basic, however they are adequate.
Site is currently being upgraded although this did not disturb us in any way.
The pub itself is charming and full of character and the drinks are reasonably priced.
Would recommend and intend to return at some point in the not too distant future!
