This site is very quiet and peaceful, so as long as you are going away to relax and not an action packed holiday then this is fine. Lovely site, lovely views, lots of toilets showers that are very clean, as is the washing up area.

There is a pub, small shop, cafe and a small pool, and small park, all of which are nice. I did enjoy this holiday, but having 3 children, spent most of the time out for the day.

This is part of the woolacombe bay holidays and you are allowed to go to the other nearby sites so we went to these for swimming and evening entertainment for the children

I have recently stayed at Easewell farm for a bank holiday break with my family of five, Easewell is the quieter of the four parks. Nice pub and fantastic toilet / shower facilities, well stocked shop, a good play area for the children. Indoor pool but the park is very strict with the age of swimmers, no person under 18 is allowed to swim without a adult/ supervisor. There is also a very small arcade.

There are fantastic views from our touring pitch. The pitches are very large but the pitches are gravel and it is extremely difficult putting in pegs for awnings, the pegs ither will not go in or go right in and come back out and we ended up with a blown away awning. My advise is to get rock pegs if anyone is thinking of booking, which is what I ended up buying from the local caravan shop. Pitches each have a tap water drainage electric hook up and a light.

A middle of the road campsites that it is difficult to find any major fault with, but at the same time I left without being impressed or feeling I’d particularly want to go back.

Facilities wise this campsite really has everything, and what this particular site doesn’t have you have access to at its three sister sites free of charge.
There is a shop, laundry, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, plenty of toilets and showers and an arcade. All the facilities though I felt were a bit dated and jaded and had definitely seen their best days, and while not dirty they were also not immaculate at any point during our stay, it was the end of season but I felt that things were getting a once over but never a proper clean.

Staff friendliness could do with improving.

The pitch sizes were OK, neither tight nor spacious, not on a slope but not quite level either. Some of the pitches had fantastic views of the sea, however, unfortunately ours had practically nothing to speak of in the way of a view, just lots of caravans and a hedge, so if its views you’re looking for then North Morte next door would be the one for you.

There are some nice pubs nearby but the food is only standard pub grub, the two local towns / villages of Ilfracombe and Woolacombe while offering all you’d expect from seaside resorts have themselves seen better days. Lee the village just to north though is lovely with a fantastic old pub.

There are though some great walks, we did the South West Coast path from Coombe Martin to Woolacombe, fantastic scenery but a tough old walk.

In conclusion, everything is acceptable about this site, but unfortunately nothing takes it that step further to gives it that wow factor.

A family of 5, children age 3 to 9. I chose this site because of its facilities due to it being part of a 4 club site. We don't like the bar, disco entertainment sites, but love sites with swimming pools which these have and we visited them all. The pool are facilities are great (chlorine level high though, we are northerner's!)

Easewell Farm great for the family who want quietness but option to try all the facilities on offer. Swimming Pool isn't monitored by staff so you get the teenagers with the inflatable ball, lilo and anything else they can blow up in the pool amongst the toddlers. Brilliant take-away and bar that never seemed to busy. No noise at all from the bar even at week-ends.

From a family who usually go to France, these sites are a good comparison, except for the weather! Well what can I say, yes it rained, thankfully we were in a caravan, but the awning was a wet, muddy mess! The pitches are small and difficult to negotiate with a large unit, we were amongst seasonal pitches but everyone was friendly.

The local area is beautiful, must try the local fish restaurant in Mortehoe where they serve fron there own livingroom!. And Woolacoombe beach is second to non.

Overall a birlliant holiday, weather rubbish but children happy, lots of good walking in the area.

We have been coming to Easewell Farm for 4-5 years for between 2 and 9 nights and whatever the weather it never disappoints.

There are plenty of sinks and showers and a well-stocked shop which is all we really need. There's a small indoor pool (nice for a muck about in bad weather), a small kids playground, a 9 hole golf course, a takeaway (have never used) and a very quiet bar (which doesn't allow dogs).

There are some lovely walks from the campsite to Woolacombe and Lee. The walk back from Woolacombe is all up hill but I believe there is a bus service that goes to the campsite.

Mortehoe, the local village, has three pubs (can recommend The Chichester and Ship Aground)which both allow dogs but can both be very busy at peak times. A welcome shelter for bad weather conditions though! It also has a takeaway (never used)and a few nice shops.

We don't use our car if we are there for a weekend, and love the freedom!

On the downside, it is expensive, it is part of the Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks, and you pay for the extra facilities that are available on the other sites. There are cheaper alternatives at North Morte Farm, Damage Barton and Warcombe Farm, none of which I have stayed at.

After many years being tentless we went back to it and boy has it changed. Cant believe the prices some of the sites charge, but anywho.

The site was spotless and so was the showers and the two kids 10, 3 enjoyed it so much, no mention of tv's, dvd's, gameboys.

Just a thought if your going to venture to woolacombe then start very early cause the queue's were terrible, we turned back and spent the day at the pool and a walk to bullpoint lighthouse

Easewell Farm is a lovely site and ideal if you're after a relaxing break.

Without the need for electricity, we opted for the E field and perched our tent on top of the highest hill. The views were splendid and we had decent privacy and plenty of space for our Jack Russell. (Daisy loved digging at the molehills that sprung up every morning.) Only point worth mentioning is it can get very windy indeed!

Toilet block was kept very clean and the showers are hot and free. The Shop is adequate, but if you are struggling, North Morte Farm has a shop nearby too.

Pub was ok (no dogs allowed I'm afraid) but practically dead whilst we were there.

Staff very pleasant.

The village of Mortehoe is lovely. Nice village store and a decent chippy and 3 pubs which all accept children and dogs, of which The Ship Aground was our favourite. The beer in there was superb (Doombar) although the food was a bit pricey.

Sadly, none of the pubs featured any evening entertainment but that can also be a blessing sometimes.

There are some lovely walks from Easewell farm taking you to Bullpoint lighthouse (mind the cliff edges) and Lee.

Woolacombe is just a few miles down the road (and is also home to the nearest cashpoint too so stock up on notes when you're there).

All in all a very pleasant site in a beautiful part of the world.

First time in revisiting here after many years. Some things have remained the same and others have alterd. Still a steep slope into and out of site with speed bumps on it as well.
There are now super pitches on the left as you enter the main park most look level although the bottom row was sloping. Our pitch had a large divet filled in with wood bark and it does slope but not drasticly.
Pitch size in D field is small and your neighbours seem very close so maybe a little more space is required. Toilet block clean through out our stay and showers seemed to stand up to the demand for hot water. The shop sells enough basic provisions to keep you going and they kindly stayed open a bit later so I could change my gas cylinder.
Swimming pool was warm and only 1.5 mtrs deep with a small baby pool there as well. On site takeaway which wasn't badly priced small bar showing the usual big games on tv. Skittle alley out behind the bar area only accessible by steps as is the outside patio area so no good if you have young kids or a wheel chair.
The camping field is free style, pitch where you want and the large groups that gathered for the weekend didn't cause any problems at all.

We have just returned from a nice weekend at this site.

The access road to the site is slightly hilly, we noticed that a couple of the larger motor-homes were scraping along the floor coming in and out.

We were pitched in D field, this area is well sheltered from any wind, however, the pitches did seem to be rather small, you can just fit your van, car and awning onto the pitch, but it gives you no room at all for BBQ's etc. They were in fact the smallest pitches that we have ever been to, on the positive side, they were very well kept, and so far have been in the best condition of any pitches we have stayed on so far this year.

Toilets and showers were always kept clean, even though they were very busy, lots of showers and toilets also meant for no waiting and the water was always hot enough for a shower. The dishwasher area is covered and always had plenty of hot water, even though they were being well used on a bank holiday weekend.

The onsite shop is very small, and does not have a licence, however, Twitchem is only across the road with a larger shop, or Golden Coast a few minutes drive away.

On site takeaway was ok, again Twitchem was so much better, not frozen chips :0)

Swimming pool was small, but nice and warm and the kids liked it :o)

On-site bar is like a country pub, of course if you like entertainment again Twitchem is close or Golden Coast. Skittle alley was looking a little tired, but it was free and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves, also a pool table and table tennis. We didn't get to see the indoor bowls, and cant comment on the golf course, as I know nothing about golf.

Location of the site is great if you like walking, as there are plenty of lovely walks in the area.

The children's play area could do with being a little bigger.

We will be returning to this site again as we had a lovely weekend, just a shame that the pitches on D area are not a little bigger, oh yes and some of the pitches were on a slope so chocks will be needed.

We were a party of four families including 7 kids and 2 dogs and we've just returned from a fab week here.

Having read through all of the reviews we thought it only fair to put an updated one on to say how lovely everything now is.

The showers were hot, always available - even during the morning rush, always, always spotless and there was plenty of room for taking the kids in and washing them with you.

The shop was stocked with all essentials one would require (as long as you shop first thing in the morning)and prices weren't bad, although for a bigger shop Golden Coast is just up the road and has a large 'Frescos' which has more stock.

The kids loved the pool, although small it was fine for them and it proved invaluable during the many wet eves we suffered.

The skittles alley may well have seen better days, but we had a top couple of hours playing on here one eve. It made a change to 10 pin bowling and was included in the cost of the holiday. Whereas, it's extra at Golden Coast.

The launderette could do with more machines - especially dryers (only really noted as we had a particularly wet week) and its worth noting that if you have a lot to wash it's cheaper to go down to Woolacombe.

The site owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and the whole site was absolutely spotless.

The only bad point and definitely worth a mention was the wind. This site is very exposed (the price you pay for fantastic views!) and we saw 4 tents despatched to the great tent graveyard in the sky whilst we were there. Our gazebo also met its maker despite being totally anchored down and pitched in a relatively sheltered spot.

We were on E field and I would definitely recommend it, however beware the wind and pitch yourselves accordingly.

All in all, we loved it here and would definitely go back but would find a more sheltered spot.
