Just returned from staying here over the bank holiday weekend, and I must say we were very impressed. The shower and toilet blocks were all very clean and tidy, plenty of room on the pitch for our tent, car and two dogs. With regards to the dogs there is a huge exercise field just for them which was brilliant for those last minute trips before going to bed. The views over the coast line were lovely although I can imagine it getting very windy. I would have to agree with previous reviews though, that it is quite expensive, particularly if you don't use all the facilities (bar, restaurant, pool).

Stayed here a weekend when a nearby site we planned to use was full. It is expensive for camping (£15 each per night) but if you plan to use the facilities at all the other sites this probably isn't so bad.
We pitched in a spot with great sea views - there was plenty of room (even when next day the site was full we still had lots of space) and it was fairly easy to find flat sections that still had views.
The showers and toilets were clean and plentiful (and with free hot water) and there were 2 hairdryers in the ladies in a separate 'vanity' area. The site shop was well stocked and the bar on site as you'd expect for a holiday park bar with 'entertainment', kids and also a full size snooker table!
The on-site management couple were very friendly and even let our friends come on with their tiny mountaineering tent when the site was full the next day - may not have done this for the usual full size family tent though!
Overall a good site, but if you aren't going to use the facilities in the other parks then probably a bit pricey in high season.

Having paid £436.00 for 10 days use of a "super pitch" we were astonished at the way we were crammed in. Parking our car on the offside of our caravan upset the neighbours from the word go as we were only about 3ft away from their awning! .there was nowhere else to park. This site is tired and dated. The toilets are in desperate need of modernisation, old teracotta tiles on the floor cracked and broken. Very old cisterns and showers, half without locking doors etc. There is no life, no soul in this place, it needs a total re-vamp. The bar area is depressing - by the way, don't consider buying a few cans in the shop because they don't sell alcohol in case it affects their bar takings. Our two teenagers had the choice of a set of clapped out skittles on a worn through carpet or a pool table. The bowls area was locked and used by the bowls club only. The swimming pool was tiny, we tried it once but there were two children using an inflatable ring and it was full up. The "courtesy" bus service costs £1 each per stay and is a very hit and miss affair. As Easewell is the quietest site it seems easily forgotten if the bus is already full up - they don't bother to turn up and to add insult to injury reception don't bother to tell you or find out where its got to. We visited the Damage Barton site nearby - now we're talking, and for substantially less site fees. A beautiful site, immaculate, stunning views for all over the bay, laundry, washing up area, shop, takeway etc. family owned and passionately run. Back to Easewell. We were of course allowed to make use of the other sister sites and the entertainment team at Golden Coast were our holidays saving grace. They worked tirelessly and enthusiastically providing evening entertainment. We went there most nights but obviously it meant that one of us had to drive. In all we definitely consider Easewell to be a take on, far too expensive for what is on offer, very hilly and the poor relation to the other Woolacombe Bay sites.

Beautiful scenery and views but 'free pitch' field quite exposed and breezy. That said, plenty of room for kids to play ball games etc. Showers reasonably clean and plentiful free hot water, toilets average. Nice quiet atmosphere overall and generally nice people.
Area nearby is particularly pretty with direct access from site onto stunning coastal path network. Owners/Managers very helpful - allowed us to stay till evening on check-out day for no extra charge(these little things help persuade us to return) Gripes: Couldn't get replacement 'campin gaz' on site, or at any of the 'sister' sites for that matter - had to travel into Braunton (20 minutes drive) Had to rent 'their' ice packs and pay for re-freezing.
Would definitely return.

August 2004 A quiet site with good views. Field B is definitely the most attractive but unfortunately does not have any EHU. Field A is also quite nice but is very sloping. The other fields have terraced pitches which are flat but are VERY close together, there was no room whatsoever for the kids to play outside the tent. The playground was very small and got a thumbs down from the 2 10yr olds and 1 7 yr old in our group. The brochure showed riding stables and a cafe on site but these were just not there?? The takeaway food was fairly grim - all fried food. Shop was only open restricted hours but did have a fairly good selection of foodstuffs and camping gear.
Showers and toilets were a bit basic and in need of an update but were cleaned regularly and there was plenty of hot water. Kids enjoyed the pool which was small but clean and open until 8pm. There is a small amusement arcade which we didn't use, also free skittles and table tennis. Bus runs between sites and Woolacombe during the day but no longer runs in the evening which was a bit disappointing, especialy as there were 2 15yr olds in our group who would have liked to see a bit of "night life". Overall, the kids did not enjoy the site, there was little to entertain them, no space outside the tent to play, and very little interaction with other kids on the site which is unusual, but probably due to the fact there was no central meeting point. The site seemed overpriced and although you can in theory use the other sites facilities, in reality after a long day out you often didn't feel like driving over to one of them.

August 2004 We camped here for 2 nights last weekend on possibly the busiest weekend of the year so far. Not our first choice as generally we don't go for the "resort-type" campsites, but being last minute merchants had left ourselves no other choice.
The cost for tent, 1 car and 2 adults was £52 for 2 nights which left us opened-mouthed with shock, but of course it was peak season and as pointed out earlier, we were paying for the facilities (shop, takeaway, bar, pool, access to the other 3 sites in the group).
The campsite was busy when we arrived, and not having booked we were advised to set up in the unmarked field wherever we could. We found ourselves a good sheletered spot and still had plenty of space to ourselves. Despite the campsite being so busy, we were not once disturbed by other campers which was amazing considering, and found that if we took the coastal path just a few metres down the road, we felt as though we were the only people for miles around - amazing!
I can't rate the facilities properly as we only used the toilets & showers. Although they were messy at times, we felt this was through general useage and they weren't dirty. We also didn't have to queue for a shower once and there was plenty of hot / warm water to go around.
There is the bus to take people to the other 3 sites as mentioned in a previous review, and the village of Mortehoe is a short and safe walk from the bottom of the campsite where you'll find pubs, shops, restaurants, church, heritage centre, etc. And another walk on down the hill is Woolocombe.
To end this review (I realise I've gone on far too long already!), we found that although the prices are higher than most, we had a great time and found that we got everything out of the holiday that we expected and more besides. Would definitely return!

August 2003 As you may have gathered already, Easewell is part of a group of four 'resort' style campsites, Easewell being the quietest of the four. The £31 a night (2 adults one child) was expensive - this is because you then have access to all the facilities of the other sites. The Easewell site has good facilities and has good views and a small but pleasant play area for the kids.

May 2003 We visited Easewell Farm for the first time this year, shortly after the site was taken over by Woolacombe Bay Holiday Company. We thought the site was well laid out with lots of showers and toilets. There was plenty of hot water in the showers but the toilets could do with a bit of updating. The rest of the facilities were very good, these being a shop, indoor pool, take-away and very good bar/entertainments area.
We had booked our holiday before Woolacombe Bay had taken over Easewell Farm and were informed of this by letter. Lets hope Easewell does not loose it's charm and Woolacombe Bay leave it alone.

August 2003 Disabled Accessibility: 10%
A real no-no if your are a wheelchair user.
Toilet facilities are provided for the disabled but are a little cramped for turning an electric wheelchair. Hand basin is very small and positioned directly below the soap dispenser making it impossible to clean your teeth properly. There are no hand drying facilities and the raps on on shower are knobs not levers making it difficult for someone with manual dexterity problems.
Generally the site is a little hilly with awkward cambers on the roadways.
Laundry room not accessible as it has one step.
Washing up area is not accessible having between one to three steps.
Games room is not accessible - one large step.
Restaurant and Take Away not accessible with several steps.
A small part of the bar is accessible but not the patio where regular BBQ's are provided.
The Swimming pool is accessible.
The free transport to the facilities on the related sites is a double-decker bus without lifts or the ability to courtsey:)
Other than the disabled facilities this is a lovely site with beautiful views across to Wales, but very expensive.

July 2002 We visited Easewell in July 2002 and agree with other reviewers that it is a beautiful site, one of the best we have been to, and one we would wish to revisit. However we received a brochure for this season and found that it had been taken over by Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parcs, and that prices have vastly increased. We have previously stayed at the Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parc and had superb holidays, but decided to try elsewhere because of high prices. Visitors can use the facilities at any of their sites, so it may suit families with children, but as we are a couple whose children no longer holiday with us , all we require is a few square yards of grass, a few kilowatts of electricity, good toilet facilities, and a beautiful view !
