april 2003 Great for kids. Very close to Mortehoe village and an easy acess to woolacombe by using a bus that comes to the site regularly. There is also a short but challenging golf course. There is alot of things to do in the evening like going to the bar for a few drinks or having a game of skittles in the alley. if it rains you can still go swimming in the indoor heated pool for free.

July 2003 Very nice site. Good play area for the children. Good location for coastal walks & going the beach. My family chose this site because it is great for the kids but also very peaceful (no discos etc). However as the site is owned by same people who own other sites (Twichen House, Woolacomb Bay etc) which do have the 'full-on' facilities (discos etc) and they allow patrons of Easewell to use the other sites (whether they want to or not) this effectively doubles the price of the stay. £22.50 for two adults, one child, one tent & car per night in mid-season is VERY expensive for campers who choose not to visit a site with the discos etc. As the site is part of a substantial business this takes away the friendly local 'feel' that is usually enjoyed on the smaller 'less happening' sites. Site managers (have no flexibility) say that there is no opportunity to extend the day of leaving i.e.: one CANNOT camp from Friday night to Sunday evening (a weekend) without paying for the third night at full rate! (Off by 10am or else!). A nominal fee of say £3.00 is the norm on similar sites.

August 2002 Excellent site, we went first last year for the bank holiday weekend and have just returned from 2 weeks there. Agree with Louisa on the facilities there. One tip is to book in advance, this will allow you to get on the terraced pitches which are more sheltered, the lower ones also having electric hookups available. We'll probably be off there again next year for our main holiday.

This has to be my favourite site of all. It is peaceful, but has excellent facilities such as indoor heated pool, golf, bar, restaurant, take away etc. It attracts a plesent clientel, as it does not have the static homes which detract from a camping atmopphere. Lots of good, clean loos and showers, with plenty of hot water.
