We only stayed one night but was made very welcome. We were the first people to use the hook up electric and it worked really well, we were the only people on the very peaceful site, it over looks the steam railway which is very close so it was very easy to jump on board to go to Swanage and Corfe Castle.
A very beautiful part of the world and is worth a visit to this site for a very peaceful stay. The shower block and toilets were not open as it was very early in the season but having a shower and toilet on board we didn't mind

A peaceful site that offered what we needed at an affordable price. The grassy site overlooks the steam railway and is within easy walking distance of harmans cross station, giving easy access to both Corfe castle and Swanage.
Ample space for games as well as peace for those who like it!
Whilst facilities are basic they are very clean.
The very friendly hosts made us welcome and offered us a free choice of where we could pitch our tent.

We have just returned from our first ever camping trip, and I must say we had a fab time.
We found this site by chance but felt very welcomed by the owner who was on site till 9 pm, the showers were hot (and free) and clean at all times.
My 5year old grandaughter had a wonderful time lots of space for her to play, loved seeing the steam trains.
The park by the village hall was an added bonus. Will return next year!

We have just enjoyed 8 nights on this site and really enjoyed ourselves.
When we visit next we will take our time to find a more sheltered pitch.
The showers were nice and hot at any time of day, and there was a washing up sink.
Our 4. 5 yr old enjoyed waving to the trains (we did too if I'm honest) and we enjoyed the fact that the station is next to the site, it was a real treat to visit the beach via steam train. The play park was a real bonus.
We would highly recommend this for visiting the Purbeck area, the owner was always on hand and very helpful.

I have just spent the most relaxing weekend ever at this site, the owners are very helpful and friendly, this is the first year they have opened the field to campers.
There is a portable cabin housing showers and toilets, local shop only 5 minute walk which has everything you need!
I pitched in far corner with my two dogs not realizing we were 20ft away from the Swanage steam railway.
It was amazing to see the old steam trains passing and people waving.
I am definitely going back and recommend this site to anyone who wants to get away and relax.
Swanage 3 mls to the right Corfe Castle 3 miles to the left. Perfect
