Very good site with excellent facilities. Although our visit was in the extremes of a harsh winter the facilities were hot and good. Just a small point there are only 2 Showers in the Ladies and 3 in the Gents - hardly adequate for a 60 pitch site.
The wardens were very helpful and the WIFI decent value at £10 per week.
The idea of charging for electricity as an extra is not a good idea and makes it an expensive site. The site is more suited to campers and touring caravans as it is a mile to the the one shop and pub in the village. Walking is on the road as there are no pavements.
Owner's comments:
1) In addition to the showers in the ladies and gents we also have two family rooms with showers, one of which is a full NAS disabled facility.
2) We offer an excellent value £50 per week Winter Special on a hardstanding pitch with 16A hookup where we do charge for electricity. Apart from this particular special offer, electricity is included in all our tariffs.

Excellent site, site facilities are second to none and spotless. Chris and Jan and their team do their utmost to ensure the site is immaculately kept, and very welcoming and friendly. The children's play area is excellent and safe, washing and disposal facilities are first class, good sized pitches/hardstandings. Set in peaceful surroundings with woods and walks all round. Very secure site, we felt very safe. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for the first week in August and actually had some sun!
It's a very nice site, spotlessly clean and well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere.
My kids loved the play area and the had fun doing the archery that was organised there.
The toilet block and facilities are very nice and were very clean, although they were not sufficient for the number of people staying on site - a separate block in the camping field would be a useful addition in the future.
The staff were always very helpful and the little shop had most things you'd need in an emergency.
We went to a local pub, The Bullers Arms for Sunday lunch - £3.50 each and it was superb!

Enjoyed four nights at this lovely clean site just over the Tamar Bridge from Portsmouth. Extremely clean and tidy with many gravel pitches and roads. A very green site also with much for nature study student.Well kept hedgerows and a polite request to recycle from the owner.
Small but well stocked shop and takeaways (pre-order) in the evenings. Very polite owners and nothing adverse to say at all.
The best thing about the site however was its proximity to the Rame Peninsular.Deserted beaches, dogs allowed on beaches, lovely sand and marvellous vistas. Great countryside, brilliant pubs and a ferry over to Plymouth. Can't wait to return , Don't tell too many people about this area though we don't want it overun by too many visitors!

We've just had a 4 night stay at the site. The owners made us feel very welcome. The site is clean with excellent modern toilet and shower blocks plus a nice spacious washing up room and outdoor drying lines
The site is level with spacious pitches.

What a lovely site! Very well kept and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Really peaceful although quite busy. Very clean toilets and showers. Comprehensive information hut with laminated walk sheets (for walks from the site) that you can borrow.
Dog walking area is fairly small but was fine due to there being many nearby lanes.
A site that we would definitely recommend and return to.

We stayed at Dolbere Park for the half term week with the kids and the dog. Absolutely brilliant week. The kids were safe to run free, they loved the adventure play area and we sat outside our caravan watching them. The archery was a real hit for the whole family and our youngest (7year old) even had a go. Ian and Chris and their wardens worked hard to make our stay enjoyable and Pam kept the toilets spotless. We highly recommend this site - everyone was just so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Pleasant, small, but spotless campsite. Not much entertainment though, but bring your laptop and enjoy wireless internet for a small fee: my teenage children didn't miss the entertainment. Deep in the country, but close to Plymouth, beaches and Dartmoor. Nice pub in the village, good meals and friendly landlord. We will be back some day.

This is the third time we have used this park and have always found it clean and well kept. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are always clean and it is nice to listen to the radio playing. The new adventure park and chess set was a big hit for my kids who really enjoyed themselves. It is a safe site to let your kids walk around. It is only a 20 minute drive to Looe which is great and to be near a beach as well is a great benifit. We will be back next year.

Site was well kept and quiet. Very helpful on arrival, and even helped us level caravan as it was our first time out of the tent. Unfortunate that the play area still wasn't finished especially as the owners have banned cycling on the site. We had two children in tears within minutes of arriving as they had been really looking forward to both. There were only two showers in action and no where to put clothes inside cubicle but everything was very clean. I don't think this site is family friendly and the pub is definitely more than 10 mins away unless you are an Olympic runner. Not sure what their target market is, but there were quite a few large "RVs" that seemed quite at home. Probably be best for the older generation who just want some peace and quiet!
