This is an excellent site, well laid out with spacious pitches. Toilet blocks very clean and the smaller block has just been refurbished, but there was slightly low water pressure in the larger block.
The site is easy to reach from the M42 and is in a quiet semi-countryside location, although the far end is next to a busy road, but the noise not of concern except unless you're pitched at that end. The wardens were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome.
The site was quite busy, partly due to being in an ideal position for visiting the NEC and other attractions. We went to the Spring Caravan and Camping Show. Superb shopping at Birmingham, also handy for the Black Country Museum, Dudley Castle and Zoo, Cadbury World, Selly Manor, interesting National Trust properties, and just over an hour's drive away is Ironbridge Gorge. The Transport Museum is right next to the site, but it doesn't open until Good Friday - 29th March.

We visited this site for three nights at the beginning of August. It was our first experience of the Caravan club, but it compared favourably to the Camping and Caravanning club (less officious). We didn't have much interaction with the wardens, but when we did we found them to be helpful and friendly.
The site is very convenient for the M42 and therefore access to the M5, M40 and M6 is also very easy. This explains the fact that it is very popular with people who are breaking their journey.
It also makes it good for visiting the may attractions in the area, Stratford, Kenilworth and Warwick castles, various National Trust properties and Cadbury World.
It is mainly hard standing (ranging from all tarmac to gravel / shingle pitches) but there are about 12 grass pitches. Usually there are two toilet blocks but one was out of action. They had closed some pitches as a result, but whilst the rest of the site was full we never had to queue.
The facilities were clean and whilst they are not brand new we didn't find them dated or inadequate in any way. It has a small shop in reception, and there is a farm shop 10 minutes walk away and a Sainsbury's and Aldi a 5-10 minute drive away.
There is a children's play area but it is very limited in terms of equipment and the age range it would be suitable for (5-10 at best) No slide, no swing, just a cargo net, two tyres and some monkey bars. This was not too much of an issue for us as we were out a lot and there were lots of empty pitches (because of the toilet block problems) so we played on those. I
t didn't really seem to be a site which families with younger children were using or if they were it was just for one night - our daughter complained that she had no friends to play with.
Overall it is good for a short break if you have lots planned, but because it has a bit of a car park feel about it I wouldn't stay there for a relaxing break or longer than a few days.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this site, very convenient for M42, we were only using it as a stop over, it was very quite and well laid out.
It was very wet when we arrived and a couple of the hard standing pitches were water logged.
Wardens very pleasant.
Clean site, usual club standard.
Only downside, no dog walk, and no path on lane which is quite busy.
Next to Transport museum which would be of interest to some people, well located for Birmingham and Cadburys world none of which we visited

This site is situated a few miles from the M42 motorway and very easy to find. The site is very well laid out and everything was upto caravan club standards, very clean with a small play area and surprisingly very quiet.
Directly outside the site is the transport museum which was worth a visit, there is also a farm shop that does meals nearby (although a bit on the pricey side!)
The site is around 10 miles from Birmingham city centre and can be easily reached both by car and train from the nearby Wythall railway station, it is also ideally situated for a visit to Stratford Upon Avon.
There are also a couple of nearby pubs but not really in walking distance, great site for a few days or even used as a stopover.

Visited end of Feb for our second ever visit here in what turned out to be a lovely sunny weekend. The site was only about 2/3rds full which made it a quiet place for a weekend stop. Away from the road the site is fairly quiet & has a rural feel too considering how close the City is. Pleasant wardens, nicely kept & clean facilities, no complaints.
We visited Baddesley Clinton & Packwood Hall NT places, both worth a visit, & did a country walk direct from the site on Sunday morning about 1 1/2 hours from a leaflet in the sites office. The farmshop up the road had some lovely fayre if a bit expensive . We didn't use the restaurant. One of the closest club sites to us, & we plan another visit later this year, where we plan to visit the Lickey & Clent Hills amongst other things.

Had a two day stay at this lovely site on our summer tour.
Arrived in lovely sunshine and met a beautiful floral display around the reception and nice and friendly helpful wardens.
The site is well laid out with good hardstanding pitches, which we prefer, but, there are grass for those who prefer it.
Plenty of water points around and as we pitched next to the toilets we were nice and handy for them and they were always well serviced, clean and tidy.
There is a main road which runs at the far edge of the site but if you avoid pitching at that end, it's no problem and we had no road noise at all.
They have a small summer house full of info for places to visit in the area and a small book library which they ask you to make a donation to the RNLI if you take one.
To say the site is just of a major motorway, it's nice and easy to find and you could be anywhere, it is surrounded by tall trees and has open fields to the other side.
We travelled to Cadbury World from here with the children, as that was the reason for choosing this site, it about 6-7 miles away.
There is a Crown Carvery about a mile and half away doing midweek carvery for £ 3. 69 - we made use of that and the food was really good.
There is a Sainsbury's and an ALDI about 2 miles away down the dual carriageway, so everything you need for a break away.
We would certainly recommend it to other caravanners - probably more of a stop over site, but very nice all the same.
Thanks caravan club for another great site.

What a gem of a site. I have stayed on this site on and off for over 12 months. The resident wardens and their staff are extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly.
As a single traveller I have felt safe, relaxed and supported by them knowing that if I had any problems they would be willing to help out if possible.
The site is kept immaculate, lovely displays of flowers throughout spring and summer. There is a never ending supply of hot water for showers and washing; two laundry rooms and even a small area for children to play.
The surrounding area is tranquil and Beckets farm offer a huge range of groceries and even a cookery school for the chef in all of us!

Went for a one night stay at this site as we were attending a function in the heart of Brum.
Arrived to a warm welcome off to choose a pitch. The site is well laid out with spacious pitches - virtually all hard stand via tarmac or chippings. Its a site with a very rural feel and is yet just a very short journey to the centre of Brum and also convenient for NEC.
The toilet blocks were clean - showers maybe a little tame. There is a play area albeit rather small and aimed towards toddlers. We pitched close to the play area. Some of these pitches back on to the main road so there was a little road noise but - other than one screaming motorbike racing past it was ok. Further into the site is probably more peaceful still.
We asked to stay on beyond 12 noon and the wardens had no problem with this so thank you to them for that.
Would definitely return again to this site - enjoy.

We went to this site for the new year, as all caravan club sites the showers /toilets were outstanding clean and warm, although we nearly didn't make it due to the snow and ice. The pipes were frozen in some of the water pipes but it didn't cause us too much problems. There isn't much to do around the area we went for a walk and found a pub that did quite good food although it was about a mile and a half away. We went in to Birmingham one day, not for the faint hearted, walking through the bullring wasn't a good idea with a dog. But we had already parked up got the ticket then realised we had to walk through the shopping area to get out into the street, no dogs aloud in the bullring, it was like parting of the waves, you would have thought we had a lion not a springer spaniel. We got followed around by the local drunk who kept barking at the dog so hubby fetched the car and picked me and the kids up outside and back we went. The site is lovely though, a little noisy near the road down the far end of the site but all in all we would return.

Just come home from another great visit to Chapel Lane. People think you're daft when you tell them you're going to Birmingham on holiday (!), but this site is as rural as any, with very neat pitches among trees and a fantastic floral display courtesy of the (friendly)wardens.
Toilet blocks, as ever, always top notch at CC sites and this is no exception. The site shop sells milk, papers, ice cream, sweets etc. Beckett's Farm Shop nearby is one of the best Farm Shops I've ever been to and also has a good restaurant attached.
For travel into Birmingham, top tip is to drive to Barnt Green station 4 miles away where there's a large car park, then get the train into New Street Station. It's just cost us £5.50 return for four of us: bargain!
