Easy to find site, and the extra bonus of being close to the NEC for where we needed to go to for 2 days.
The pitches were excellent sizes what ever size your unit was, nice and level too.
Showers & toilets are excellent and clean what ever time of day, and always hot water.
Staff were really helpful and nothing was any bother to them, they helped us find our friends and told us that space was available next to them
We will be going back to this site next year, for sure, was so quiet even though it was really busy at that time of year.

This summer the reception area was covered in flowers and was stunning. Access to the site was really easy and very close to the main road, but the site still felt really peaceful and away from it all.
It was beautifully laid out and cared for, with good even pitches. The shower blocks and washing up areas were excellent and spotlessly clean. Wilf and the warden with the hat ! were so friendly and helpful.
The farm shop, just minutes walk away was well worth a visit, selling not just groceries, but hot and cold food to take away and also luxury foods, eg. Speciality flavoured oils on tap, perfect to buy as gifts.
I didn't try the attached restaurant, but if the take away food was anything to go on it would be well worth trying. Just a few minutes drive away was a shopping centre including a large supermarket whilst Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre was only 8.5 miles away and 18 minutes drive by car.
I stayed at this site about 17 years ago,I loved it then, and loved it once again on this visit.

Stayed here for 2 nights the facilities are good with 2 shower blocks with nice clean toilets, showers and private wash rooms.
The pitches are nice and level with a choice of grass or tarmac.
The site is quite handy if you are visiting the NEC like I was,
The site is well worth a visit if you are in the area, the only real downside is the long walk it is from any shops or pubs.
I you don't mind a short drive you can soon get to a Sainsburys, Aldi, Subway and a few more shops.
The site does have it's own shop which is open in the day time.

We used this site to try out our new caravan and we had a great time. The facilities were spotless and the wardens couldn't have been mroe helpful.
The children played out with all the other children (it was Easter hols so lots of kids) and had a great time. We visited Cadbury World and Birmingham city centre. We had planned to do the latter by bus but the times were a bit restricting so we drove - there was no traffic and we parked right in the middle of the city and had a great day out.
I would not hesitate to recommend this site - though as new members we don't have much to compare it with! Hope all CC sites are as good as this.

Yet again our visit to Chapel Lane was good. The standards are maintained but it may soon be time to upgrade the facilities blocks as they are beginning to look a little tired. Becketts Farm is a must for their spectacular Sunday lunch but would suggest that you book as it is extremely popular. We caught the bus into the city from the roundabout (timetable available in reception) and found it preferable to driving and parking in th pre-Christmas rush. Bus passes are accepted from those of a certain age.
A good site at which to spend a winter city break.

We stopped here for one night on our way to Wales and also on our way home again. The wardens were very helpful and polite and the site was very pleasant, the toilet blocks are of the normal high standards of the CC. The site while being within a couple of miles of the M42 had a very rural feel to it and very little road noise.
We used the farm shop at the end of the road and it had a very good range of products and some lovely bread.

We booked for one night on route for the Loire valley , the site is very easy to find about 1.5 miles from the M42 ,We found the wardens very helpful and the showerblocks were 100% spotless as you would expect at any C.C site .
There is a somerfield's and petrol station not far from the site for any food shopping that you need ,most of the pitches are on tarmac although there are some grass one's available.
Would definitely use it again

Impressed with the site which is so close to M42
Handy for stopover but we stayed 3nts wished it could have been longer as there is so much to do. Large site well spaced out hardstanding pitches only used one of the toilet blocks which was good no complaints. Very peaceful countryside feel about the area wanted to visit transport museum but it was closed during the week the national motorcycle museum which had reopened is worth a look. Black Country living Museum is brilliant and if shopping is your thing the Bull Ring and MerryHill complex are a short drive away. We were going to Drayton Manor Park but prices were high and if you don't enjoy queues or thrill rides its not worth the money. Went instead to Twycross Zoo bit further up M42 but worth the petrol very impressed with variety of animals and reasonable entry charge.
We will be using this site again and recommend it as a rest stop from motorway driving or longer break

Found this site on this website and decided to use it while visiting Gardeners World Live at the NEC. It has excellent clean toilets and showers the site is well laid out. The staff are helpful and friendly. We used our caravan club card offer to obtain 2 for price of 1 admission to Cadburys World remember to show your card when paying for entry. The site was 13 miles from the NEC and 7 miles from Cadburys World so was ideal for visiting both. Would recommend this site to anyone visiting the area.

Well what can we say, 2nd time here. As newbies to caravanning, and site is just as clean as last time, showers absolutely fine in my opinion, hot, quite forceful, you can also adjust the height and temperature which is great for us short people! Alot of sites have the ones where you just push the button for the water to start, and are at a static height which is normally too high for most. This isnt - great. The weather was awesome, hot, sunny, dogs loved it although found their own bit of shade at the side of the car. Rabbits came out and squirrels so we were watching them. Got out and about using the farm shop. No downsides at all. Going back again as its just local for us, but far enough away to have a break.
