We have never been to a site which is so well run and have such wonderfully helpful wardens. The first day we arrived we were welcomed by a warden who was filling in from another site. The following day we met Kandy and Graham and they were so helpful and nice, we decided that if we could we would stay a few days extra with them at the end of our touring holiday.
We had no problem with noise, but were the far side of the site, tucked under the trees.
Every part of the site was kept spotless. Drainers and cloths were provided (never before found a site that did that), toilets, showers, laundry and washing sinks were always clean, it didn't matter what time you used them.
I have a disability and although they are not set up for people with disabilities, there was not a drama when I explained that it might mean my husband helping me. Although the problem was soon solved and I had a plastic chair placed in the shower so I could sit down and had no fear of falling.
The pub which is only about 50 yds away had meals, although the night we went we had to wait for more than an hour for a ploughman's. There is another place to eat a little way out of the camp, but I would think its too far to walk, the food there was really nice, although the decoration was a bit naff.
It is an ideal place for people who want to be near the coast but not on a camp which is right in the throngs of holiday makers.
All in all if there was a rating system of 10 stars, this would deserve 11.

This site for me is the best in great Yarmouth. The site wardens are really nice the site is very well kept. Shower block is probably the best I have used very clean. Also there are two pubs nearby and it is handy for supermarkets. Even though the weather was not great we had a good time and will always stay there in the future.

This is our second visit to the site. My children were playing in the park nothing to do with the camp site, it was the pub play area and the warden marched them back. Even though my children were being supervised by 5 teenagers, it was me that got the mouthful from her and it was all very unnecessary. This aside the site is very good, however, this year the showers have been freezs. The pitches are small, but it is located in a fantastic position for all your needs of Norfolk. Please be warned, the wardens are dreadful. Site is good.

This site is lovely. Prices for a tent are very reasonable and the wardens, Candy and Graham were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The showers and toilets are well kept and clean as is the washing up area. The complimentary Classical FM playing in the toilet/ shower block was very pleasant!
There are pretty flowers all round the site, and there are open and shaded areas.
The pub next door, is fairly priced and it has a playground for children.
We took our puppy and there are dog bins around the site.
Only slight downside to the sight is I found the pitches were quite close together, but my children still had room to swing a bat!
We enjoyed our stay, even with temperamental weather and we shall return again and again.

We are very new to camping and decided to feel our feet at this site near Great Yarmouth. I can honestly say that we chose correctly. On arrival we booked in at reception, and were met by Wendy, one of the wardens on site. She ran through the usual where things were, then got Graham to show us to our pitch (which he did on his bike). We were pitched on a corner plot that was shaded by trees, with hook up. The site is well maintained and level, ideal for tents and caravans alike. The dishwashing area is kept very clean, with a drainer and cloth available to use. (cloths are changed on a regular basis). The toilets and showers are kept clean, with the added bonus of classical radio playing in the background, even my non-classical husband quite enjoyed it. They are accessed by a code entry which is good. There is a place to empty your toilet systems, my husband got that job. There is also a laundry area that is left available all the time. In there, are tourist information leaflets, bus time tables and info on local car boots. You can also get food deliveries from local pizza shop or chippy. The kids, (we at times forgot we had some as they were off playing with the other kids on site), enjoyed the site too. There is a small area that has swings, and there is also another the other side of the fence that belongs to the pub that they can go to. There isn't a shop there, but they are available very close by if you go by car. Great Yarmouth is only about 10 mins away if that. If you are after an all action site, then this one isn't for you, but if you want a more relaxed holiday, then I recommend this site. There is noise from the road, but earplugs soon sorted that out, it's not a major problem. All in all, a very nice site that I would be more than happy to return to.

This year was our third visit to the site. The shower block was as clean as ever. More flowers had been planted in the well kept grounds and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days there. There is so much to do in the surrounding areas to suit everybody. I look forward to seeing the wardens there next year.

Excellent site with very clean facilities. Constant hot water for showers and plenty of sinks/toilets. Separate areas for washing up and launderette on site. All facilities in good working order.
Wardens very welcoming and helpful. Site very attractive and well kept. Good information regarding local area and maps displayed.
Immediate surrounding area has good pub with reasonable priced food and play area for children. Beach with toilets about 1 mile walk away but not commercialised at all.
Very good value for money.

We left arranging our bank holiday weekend outing late and found most places fully booked (requested hookup) but we were lucky this time. There were plenty of vacant pitches although we were told the Spring Bank holiday was near to fully booked. First impressions very good - pleasing to the eye. The warden was very welcoming, showing us our pitch on his bicycle. We were sited close to the road under the trees which wasnt the best place to be. We missed out on the superb sun and the road noise was noticable. We live on a Close and not used to passing traffic but even so not as bad as some reports. I'm sure we would have been moved if we had asked. The internet access was as bonus (got 10 out of 10 from the teenage lad studding for his forthcoming STATS) and worked well. Only 4 miles from Great Yarmouth so within easy reach. The shower block was very clean and the piped music was pleasent. I felt the site owners could consider replacing the boiler system as the showers were not very hot. Sadly that was a big letdown as they promote their shower block. Dogs are allowed but watch were you walk! Some owners let the majority of conciderate ones down. In all I would recommend a stay but chose your pitch with care. 8/10

We visited over easter for the first time and will definitely be returning for spring bank holiday. The weather was awful wind snow ext,but the welcome from the wardens was warm and friendly. It is a small well kept level site with internet access, warm clean facilities and a good pub on the front of the site.
Also it is in a good position for exploring all the local attractions, great yarmouth was a ten minute drive,5 mins to broad and caister, greyhound stadium and shops. Lovely little site, brilliant wardens. Five star

Stayed for one night during our cycle tour of Norfolk and Suffolk coast. Very clean shower block and toilets, classical music played in these too! We didn't need electric so were told to pitch near the fence, Traffic noise was very loud and intrusive, ear plugs purchased from reception (50p)helped. Only one washing machine and one almost useless tumble drier, and the laundry closed at 7pm and didn't open until 10am the next day, no use for us overnighters! There was a washing line available - in the shade under a tree, so nothing really dried, a nuisance having to carry wet clothes on a bike.
I don't think I could stay for more than one night, only because of the traffic noise. It was handy for a couple of pubs though
