From the moment we arrived we knew we'd found a little gem. The owner came over to us almost immediately and helped us choose the best pitch. All the pitches are large and face the sea. The owner doesn't overfill the site so it's never overcrowded. I assume that's why you can arrive from 8am and there's no time pressure for you to leave. The owner has a very relaxed attitude which makes all difference.

The shower block is spotlessly clean and warm.

There is a Tesco Express 5 minutes from the site which is very handy.

When we were setting up there were paragliders soaring overhead. It took us ages to set up! The next day we walked over to watch them launch and land from the edge of the cliffs very close to the site. It was fantastic. One of the paragliders asked us if we would like a tandem flight at a cost. My husband jumped at the chance. He said it was amazing.

Although the weather wasn't very good to us we can't wait to go back.

The owner (Chris) has got it just right. Well done. We need more sites like yours.

This is a lovely quiet adults only site with breathtaking views out over the North Sea. The Warden was very helpful and friendly, and the facilities were second to none. The toilet block had just been refurbished with roomy shower cubicles and plenty of hot water, and were immaculately kept clean. The black waste disposal point for our marine toilet tank was easy to access and use despite having a large American RV - something that is difficult to access or not available at many UK sites - well done!

We intend to return.

End of season visit to try out our new caravan. The weather was appalling, high winds and rain. The site is on an open cliff top, great for the summer but frightening in the high winds. The warden was warm and friendly, offered to refund our money if we left early. The toilets are off the touring site in the residential area, not too convenient. There's plenty of places to visit along the coast and inland. Paper shop/store in walking distance, small Tesco as you go into Mundesley, selection of shops in the village including a fish and chip shop. There is a large field close to the site which the dogs loved, the slip road runs down to the sea where dogs are allowed on the beach. We will visit again but in better weather.

A lovely campsite with unrivalled sea views from every pitch. This site is on top of a cliff so the views over the beaches and sea are beautiful but rather exposed to a North wind. Site slopes downhill and is tiered but pitches are not all level so bring your chocks! Small shop on site and you can borrow books if it is raining. Good access and lovely area. Pubs and restaurants nearby. Great walks down to the beach and while we were there there were some guys paragliding from the cliffs - awesome!

Showers and toilets very good. OVER 18s ONLY so very peaceful too.

Stayed for a long weekend. Great welcome from Chris, the site warden. Lovely clean site with terrific views and location. You will need chocks to get level, but other campers helped us out. Everyone very friendly. Chris always buzzing around to help with any problems, but not intrusive. Great for the dogs with easy access to beach, big off-lead exercise field and cliff top path. Cleanest and best-appointed showers we have ever used on a camp site. Walked into Mundesley along beach, stopped at dog friendly Ship Inn for Saturday lunch, walked back along coastal path route - perfect! Had lovely Sunday carvery at The Manor Hotel where 3 beach grubby dogs were happily accepted and service was excellent. Ice cream van a nice touch. Good location for visiting Cromer, but nice to get back to the peace and quiet of Sandy Gulls!

A fabulous site. The staff were friendly but not intrusive, the setting second to none. The wifi is a bit ropey but they warn you of that before you buy it. The plots are large and well serviced. The toilet and shower block was spotless, didn't use the shower but the loos were great. Recommend a walk to Mundesley, a pint at the ship and using their free wifi if you want to download stuff! Didn't rate the chip van very highly (but that is not the site's fault) but loved the ice cream van. We had a brilliant stay and can't wait to come back.

We stayed here for 3nights was booked in for 7. ! Christine the site warden warned us that they were in for some very strong wind later in the day night and advised us to take our awning down. We thought we would be ok and left it up. How stupid was we. Saturday morning we packed up and went home everything was soaked because our awning got blown down. Pleased we slept the dogs in the car and not the awning that night. The site itself is fab. Not a lot on site. But the walks and scenery make up for that. The warden is great very friendly and will help if she can. Wifi not its best. But have had a lot worse. WE will go back next year. Cannot fault much at all. If you are after peace and quiet this is the site. Dogs welcome but its adult only. !

Booked the day before for 2 nights. Got there and went and piked a pitch. The views are amazing. The lady came round a collected our money told us we cud use the whole corner where we were. The site is a bit uneven so you will need your chocks ! The site is very clean and the showers and toilets are faultless ! Spacious showers with a hairdryer free to use ! I luv this site and would definitely return. The beach is at the bottom of a drive and is definitely worth the walk down ! There are a lot of dogs but must say never heard them.

WOW WOW WOW. The jewel in the crown.

We stayed for 7 nights and the only negative thing I can think of is it's not 1 hour away from where we live. Christine the lovely lady who runs this beautiful site would get sick of the sight of us. Who wouldn't want to wake up to the lovely views every morning. The facilities on site can only be described as Immaculate and I don't use this word lightly. As for pitch size more than big enough for our car caravan awning. I would estimate 20 to 25 foot between caravans. Every one we spoke to seemed to of been coming to this site for years. Some as many as 16 year after year. With very good reason. As other people have mentioned some pitches are on a slight slope so do fetch chocks to level up. The village of Mundesley is only a short walk away for Tesco express and do try the butchers on the high street well worth it. All we can say now is we can't wait for our next stay. Counting down the days. ENJOY.

We spent a lovely relaxing long weekend here. The warden is very helpful and friendly and ensures everyone pitches so everyone else can see the sea which is very thoughtful. You can choose your own pitch and the site itself feels quite roomy. The showers and toilets are a short walk away from the field and are spotless, with plenty of hot water and the showers themselves are very roomy and easily accessible.

There is a local shop selling everything a short walk away from the camp site and the lovely unspoilt sandy beach is just a short stroll down the cliff road. It's dog friendly too, all year round.

As previously mentioned there is a lovely fish & chip shop in Mundesley village which we sampled and thought was fab! There is also a Chinese take away (we didn't try this). The site is great for popping over to Cromer for the day, it's a pleasant seaside town that's also easily accessible.

This site is a great place to go if you enjoy walking (there is a field at the end of the site where you can let your dog off the lead with a dog bin), want quick access to the beach and enjoy peace and quiet. It was so lovely and relaxing watching the various boats and ships glide across the sea. A lovely little site. I can understand why it's adult only as its situated on a cliff top, and as its a cliff top it can get windy but great views to be had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
