Just returned from Whit weekend. Toilet/shower block and washing up facilities spotless. Plenty of hot water available. Very warm welcome upon arrival. Great play area for the children. Pitches well spaced out. In general, reasonably level site. On site shop has essentials and opens from 8am until about 9pm. Plenty of places to visit. This was our first time here and would definitely return.

I have just spent the bank holiday weekend at this site, it was the first time I had been there and I have to say I was very impressed. The facilities were spotless, the staff were welcoming and very helpful. There was a small play area for the kids which was well maintained. All in all I was so impressed I have booked to go back in a couple of weeks time and stay a bit longer. A highly recommended site.

This is a small site, but has stunning views across to the Clwydian Hills. It is near a road but is not too noisy. We went on Easter Saturday for one night, and it was full but still fairly peaceful. The showers are free, hairdryer 20p. But there are no duckboards in the showers so your feet get very wet! The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers were kept very clean. There are rubbish bins around the site which were frequently emptied. We had gorgeous weather and had a lovely day out at Llyn Brenig - highly recommended. The directions given on the website were spot on. It is in a beautiful area and there are lots of places to go - Llangollen, Denbigh Castle, Ruthin.

Just had a night at Caer Myndd caravan park over the Easter break Lovely little site, all facilities were spotless, with constant hot water and we were given a very warm welcome on arrival. Lovely and quiet with a nice play area for the kids, really flat area for camping. The shop had all the basic stuff you could need at reasonable prices. There are some lovely views from the site and will definitely return there in the summer, if the owners read these reviews then I'd just like to say thanks once again.

This is a lovely site with superb views over the Welsh Hills. The facilities are spotlessly clean and there was continual hot water. Nice quiet site in very pleasant surroundings. Nicely kept site with lovely children's play area. We had only intended stopping for the one night, but ended up stopping longer. Proprietors very helpful and most welcoming. Will definitely be returning. The site is a definite to visit. Directions absolutely spot on - but watch out for the 17% hill on the approach road.

We searched all over Denbighshire before we found this little bit of heaven. We came here for the opening weekend the site has just been taken over by two lovely couples who could not have been more helpful if they tried. We are going to come back here every weekend we can and hopefully stay for the summer.

We read the great reviews of this campsite and decided to visit for the bank holiday weekend. We have only stayed two nights out of the three we booked and payed for. This site though in a great position, and the facilities beautifully clean was overcrowded with tents and cramped with cars. The usual story of pack em in on a bank holiday weekend! The site was very very noisy and a party raged in one of the camping areas until three in the morning with very loud music It was a shame that such a lovely campsite lacked good management and the noise levels kept down to minimum after 11.00pm.

I visited this site for a look around and met the owners Kath and Alan, who I must say were very open honest and friendly people. The camping field was immaculately mown and there were a couple of new hard standing pitches at the bottom end of the field which looked well thought out.
There is a kids play, and flowers and shrubs surround the toilet block which is spotlessly clean and maintained. Loved the pot sinks with alpine gardens.
There are lovely views from the site and Denbigh is about 5 miles away, which has a Tescos and another supermarket, although there is a small shop on site which is handy.
If you like a nice quiet site then this is a must to visit.

Lovely picturesque site. We visited on a glorious weekend in June. Campsite seemed quite empty which suited us as we had the pick of the tent pitches. Toilet block was clean although on the small size (only four showers in total)but adequate for the size of campsite never had to queue. Childrens' play area was excellent. Great for visiting the surrounding area from the coast to the nearby lake. Would stay again.

Visited Caer Mynydd site over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. We were part of a Group of 5 Tents, all Families with Children 6 and under.Despite the cold weather we all had a great time and everyone in the Group said what a lovely site it was, very well maintained. Toilet and Shower facilities were kept very clean, despite the site being at near full capacity. Maybe this was a reason why the water in the Showers was cold, Sunday and Monday. Despite that,Kath and Alan, the site owners, made us very welcome and were able to accommodate all 5 Tents so that we were together in a Group. We would hope to visit the site again in the future and would definitely recommend a visit.
