Just got back from a long weekend at this site and got to say the facilities are absolutely spotless. The site was a bit quieter than we expected (a good thing!) but everyone was really friendly and welcoming. The site is just North of Portsmouth but still in the countryside so you feel like you're away from it all.
Don't be too put off by the shared showers thing - everyone is in the same boat and our experience was that we never had to shower naked with strangers and everyone respects each other's modesty! The bar is great and the pools are lovely - its just a shame we didn't have the weather to enjoy the outdoor pool. You have to pay for the sauna and steam room (£2) and the jacuzzi was £1 for 12 mins but again the facilities are very very clean. Only downsides are that you have to pay 20p for 3.5 mins of hot water for the showers; there is only one sink for washing up so although it wasn't a problem for us it could be a pain if the site is busy. All in all, worth a try.

We as a family with 2 adults and 2 children had a lovely time at this camp site. The outdoor swimming pool was amazing though having to pay £2 to use the spa was a little expensive. A couple of things let this site down, the main one being the showers. My family didn't have a shower whilst here because there were no shower curtains. I know this used to be a nudist camp and knew this when booking to stay, but considering the take over was at the beginning of the year I feel the new owners have had more than enough time to sort this out. I feel that if they don't do something about it soon they could lose a lot of business. The second let down was that they didn't have a shop on site, I know that the local 'store' is only a few minutes away - and we had a lovely stroll there one morning - but whilst sat around the pool one very hot and sunny afternoon we really fancied an ice cream. If they allowed dogs on site we and 3 other families would definitely be returning in September, never mind.

It is hard to locate the campsite from the road, we drove past it a few times before finding it! The campsite used to be a Naturist site, but isn't anymore. We really like it, we and 3 families camped for the weekend and had a great time. We were the only families camping on the site, although there are owners who come and stay in the static caravans. At the moment the showers don't have shower curtains in either the male or female washrooms. However they were spotless! We didn't try any of the food in the clubhouse, however everything was clean and tidy when we walked through to the indoor swimming pool. The new owners are working hard to upgrade the site and were very friendly. It is definitely worth a visit, although it would be nice for it to stay a hidden gem!

We have just returned from a brilliant weekend camping trip at this site. It really was lovely. Many people people have their own static caravans dotted around the site - all of whom were very friendly and welcoming to us. The outdoor pool was beautifully maintained and warm. The children spent all day in it. Tennis courts and volleyball courts were free to use. It was very pleasant walking around the site, I'm sure in its prime - it would have been a gem. Now, however, where the statics have been removed, ugly concrete hard-standings are left which make it look rather neglected. I understand new owners will be improving the toilet blocks - which is welcoming as not everyone wants to shower without a shower curtain! Having said that, this would not deter me from coming again. I thought it was one of the nicest sites we have ever stayed at and will certainly be returning.

This is a very nice flat landscaped park with plenty of space for your unit. There is still a lot of work the new owners are undertaking on this site. Some of the seasonal pitches had set out patio slabs and decking. The showers and changing room in the leisure complex are communial and the children's play area needs a little attention. I am sure once this is done the site will be one of the best in the area. The club house serves a limited menu but what we tried was very good home cooked food. It can be expensive using the leisure complex, showers 20p, sauna £2, steam room £2, whirlpool spa £2 so make sure you take your money! All in all IF they decide to allow dogs we will be returning soon.

We stayed here for a few days over Easter. The site is hard to locate as there are no signs on the main road that bypass it, and only sat nav got us down the lane that leads to it. The only sign is inside the electronic gate. The site was very quiet ,we were the only ones on the grassy area we chose and not many other tourers at all. A few caravans were obviously on seasonal pitches. Quite a lot of static caravans were nicely kept around the site, but a lot had been removed leaving just the hard standings. A indoor and outdoor swimming pool ,sauna and jacuzzi were available. The bar was quite nice and the male singer on Saturday evening entertaining. The local shop is only a couple of minutes walk away.
The downside is that until this year it was a naturist camp and old habits die hard! Sunday afternoon was hot and sunny so we went for a walk around the camp, quite surprised to see women sunbathing topless outside their caravans, but even more surprised by the topless tennis tournament, and women wandering around half clothed! The showers were kept lovely and clean but the three shower heads are all in together like the old school ones, no doors or even curtains to separate them,I had some very quick showers !
When we left the proprietor apologised for the semi-nudity. He said the showers would be altered and that most of the old regulars would be leaving. I hope this is correct as this could be a lovely place.

This is a very well kept site with excellent staff very reasonable prices. It was a shame the restaurant only served basket meals but the quality of these meals was very good. The site has an excellent swimming pool and the pitches are of a good size. You will be made very welcome at this site. We can highly recommend this site and will be visiting this site again.
