We enjoyed 6 nights here at the start of their season. It was still a work in progress as the owners had been working hard to provide hard standing fully serviced (and we mean fully serviced) pitches. There was even a sky connection!
Julie the owner was welcoming and very obliging, nothing was too much trouble for her. The array of birdlife was very interesting to watch from your caravan window.
This is a lovely quiet site which we would recommend - the only downsides for us was the bumpy pit holed long driveway and the one shower, but these pale into insignificance when everything else is taken into consideration.
We found a wonderful farm shop five minute driveway.Which sold the most wonderful produce. We are sorry we cannot remember the name but are sure Julie would direct you.
Will definitely return here.Love the peace and quiet!

You could have a relaxing, day, week, or month here.
Julie the owner is great, nothing is a problem, you will not find a better place to stay, loads of wild life right on your doorstep, this site will not let you down, Very relaxing.
It's a couple miles to the nearest shops, but Wrexham is only 7 miles drive away with all the amenities you would expect, and Bangor on Dee has two excellent pubs serving great food and drink.
We have only just started caravanning, but have have visited some very nice sites in the past few months, and Emral Gardens is up there with the best of them.
As Arnie said I will be return.

I don't think I've been to a quieter site than this. Immaculate toilet and shower but as other reviews have said, there is only one so I think most people use their own facilities. Peacocks and guinea fowl roam around freely. Nice walks through adjacent woods.
Close to Bangor-on-Dee racecourse and convenient for Wrexham, Errdig (NT), Llangollen, Chester, and North Shropshire.
Adult only site with electric to all pitches. 'The Hut' contains toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, TV and sofa. More local interest leaflets than a tourist information office.

A beautiful site, a little hideaway, quiet, friendly - really relaxing.
Good clean facilities that were never busy, the 'hut' was great with plenty of hot water, kettle, toaster, microwave etc - not to mention a TV and armchairs!
Owner was lovely and chatted each evening as she tended to the large pond.
Peacocks wandering around, pretty dog walk, horses in the fields, everything was great.
Would definitely return.

Just spent the weekend at this site.
What can I say, it was just as described (if not better).
Peaceful, quiet, restful, we absolutley loved it. The owners were nice and friendly and very helpful. Although there is only one toilet and one shower they were very clean and tidy and we never had to queue.
Will definitely return, only one small point, the long windy lane could do with a few more passing points.

Stayed here for 4 nights over the bank holiday. Difficult to fault, no children, limited mobile phone reception, very quiet, what more could one ask. A peacock and peahen complete with young wander around along with chickens during the day and with the bats flying around at night it's a real haven of tranquillity. Located in a hollow and apparent torrential rain for a few days before had left the ground wet but certainly not muddy. There is an excellent washing up area with toaster, kettle, microwave along with a television should you need your Corrie fix etc.
It's a few miles to the nearest shops for provisions but no real hardship, Wrexham is a short drive away with all the amenities you would expect and Bangor on Dee has two excellent pubs both of which serve good food. The only area I would criticise is the site could do with a bit more than the single toilet and shower cubicle. We have visited some very nice sites in the past and Emral Gardens is up there with the best of them. I'm sure we will return.

If you want the constant hum of traffic, or the noise of screaming kids, or even the riotous late into the night barbies then this site is not for you.
On the other hand if you want peace and tranquillity in beautiful countryside then this site ticks ALL the right boxes.
We have just had a lovely week there and despite some rain we found lots to see and do in the surrounding beautiful countryside. When we had had enough touring we would return to this lovely peaceful site to recover over a glass of wine and a quiet barbie.
Other reviews have criticised the toilet and shower facilities as being a bit grubby. We found the reverse to be true. The only fault we could find with the facilities was the dirt left by other campers feet, something you are bound to get when the ground is wet, but there were mops available to wipe down with. Some people just need 'Mop Training!'
Julie, the site 'Warden' was very sociable and helpful with tips of places to visit, and altogether we had a very enjoyable experience.
We will certainly pay another visit to this little gem of a site, so get behind us in the queue for reservations.

Have just got home from a four day stay on this site, the owners were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The site is set in lovely countryside and was very peaceful. It is a great place to stay for touring around North Wales. The dog walk was excellent and it had fishing on site. Would recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful time away from the rat race.

Second visit to Emral Gardens and again I wasnt let down. Four of us stayed in a tent during a motor bike holiday and again were made to feel welcome. The other campers were friendly as you would expect. Since our last visit Julie and Robert have opened up a part of the adjacent field for other units, I thought this may have led to overcrowding at dishwashing / showers etc but it didnt at all. Not once did any of us have to wait. The log cabin where you wash the dishes is great if your in a tent as it offers refuse in bad weather, it has a TV and heater as well as a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge, this is a really good facility.
Not much more to say really, nice site, nice people, does what it says, quiet tranquil place. The online descripition is accurate so you can see the facitlies with confidence, go and visit. I will be going again.

Stayed here for 8 days in August 2007 with our (large) tent. Parents-in-law were next to us with their caravan and awning. An adult-only camping site was ideal for us: no kids, quiet, peaceful: wonderful! There were horses in the field behind us, which was a lovely sight to watch. Facilities were basic: one toilet and one shower. Cleaned regularly, although the ceilings were covered in spiders, mozzies and other creepiecrawlies. A lovely touch is the cabin where you can do your washing up, watch telly and there's a fridge for communal use. This was really useful for us. The site itself was quite good, there are some hand-stands, some grass stands (to the left it was a bit difficult to find a flat bit), and there's a lovely dogwalk. We'd definitely return here.
