Spent a couple of nights here. Very nice tranquil site, though small and limited facilities. 1 shower and 1 loo only, but both clean, and no washing up facilities. Unfortunately, a large group of tents (from the midlands judging by the accents we had to listen to till 2am) had set up, and partied till the early hours. Sadly site not big enough to avoid disturbances of this type. Nice site, shame about the inconsiderate campers and lack of 11pm curfew enforcement.

We visited this site in August 07 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we found the toilets and shower block cleaned and maintained to a very high standard with adequate facilities in the kitchen & TV restroom, the site is located in beautiful country surroundings with woodland walks along the river. We found the owners of the site welcoming, very friendly, helpful and interested in the comfort of our stay with them, there are ample shops within a short drive from the site. We would highly recommend this site if you are looking for a tranquil holiday.

OK First the not so good bit. The drive down to the pitches is quite an experience for the first time virgin caravanners and really does need some work doing on it such as filling in the pot holes ! it would make a big difference, the long drive gives both the suspension on the car and caravan a real good workout. Anyway grip over !
This is a very nice place with very nice owners. If you want to escape the rat race then go there and just be prepare to rattle yourself first, then car then caravan but when you get pitch on the super sized pitchs with EHU / Water etc then get ready for the chill out factor to hit home ! we loved it and there was plenty in the area to do if you wanted to do something. We would certainly go back in the future it is worth a visit but please Emral get that driveway filled in !
The single shower block didnt present a problem at all, it seemed like everyone worked a sublimal roster for showering ! it was clean tidy and gives the feeling of rural at its best.
Visit for a chill time ! we did and it worked.

Ent four nights at Emral in July 07 and used it as a base for touring north and mid Wales on Motorbike holiday. Finding a site which is happy with motorbikes is rare but Emral had us and the site is excellent. It is a small site which is in a beautiful tranquil environment, if you enjoy wildlife and nature this site is for you. If you like loud music and being a bit rowdy its not.The facilities are basic, one toilet and shower but that didn't cause any problems at all and they are kept spotlessly clean. There is a cabin which has a TV and the dish washing facilities with microwave, toaster (always a bonus when you’re camping) and kettle. The fridge was great and allowed us to freeze the icepacks. Julie and Robert who run the site are friendly and approachable. In brief, great, excellent, will go again, book a visit now!

Spent a relaxing quiet weekend at this excellent site. Julie told us where the local shop was (I left the milk behind) and where the good pubs were. The site is very small but well kept and the toilet and shower were immaculate. Nice walk into the woods (didn't get to see the badgers) which has a stream running through it. Julie was tidying up a cabin they have on site for people to us if they wanted to. There was also a fridge if like us you had come in a tent (no electric). Plenty to do in the surrounding area. Hope to go back soon.

Had a lovely peaceful weekend here in beautiful surroundings, Julie was warm and welcoming and very helpful. No there arent any washing up facilities big flashing club house or banks of showers and toilets. But what there is is peace and quiet, clean toilet and shower, a well run secret hideaway site. W will be returning - next month in fact! Cant wait.

Just been here for the weekend to try out our new van and loved it. Lovely and peaceful, great walks for the dog through the woods. There are only 15 pitches, its a C&CC certificated site and is now for adults only. Very well looked after and although there is only one toilet and one shower, they are both spotless. Only 45 minutes from home, too -we'll definitely be going back.

If you are family oriented, this is brill, great campsite if you have young one`s, lot`s of horse`s to see. Adequate facilities on site. Only a a mile away from a village to stock up on groceries. Lovely campsite, well organised, great walk`s. Julie is a lovely host. Defo book early if you want to get into this site.

June 2005 Just spent 4 days. Nice and quite. Owners very frindly. Very clean and tidy. Yes there is only 1 toilet and shower but it did not cause us any problems. There is a small wood attached to the site which is ideal for the children to play. It is safe.
Reading the comments book on site one of the main topics was 'needs more facilities for children'. No it does not.
If you are a TV watcher dont site your van in the corner next to the electric transformer on the pole. You recive a crap picture. Brilliant suntrap through. Will return.

May 2005 Had a great overnight stay here. Owner was lovely and very helpful. Kids loved woods and happily played with another family. Foals in field next to site, allowed us all to watch sheep shearing. May only be one toilet and one shower, but very clean and water hot. Excellent
