We've been going to pembrokeshire for about 15 years now and this is by far the most pleasant by miles, we have just returned from a recent camping trip but decided to stay somewhere else for a change and what a mistake, should've stuck to what we know, the facilities are excellent never had a problem with the cleanliness of the showers or toilet block the owners are very pleasant and helpful, we are going back next month and will be staying here for a week, if it's a nice clean tidy site you want with breath taking views and child friendly (loads of space for them to play round and no traffic) then this is the place for you, yes it is a bit of a walk back up the hill from tenby but it's no real hardship probably takes 10-15 minutes oso, this place gets a 10/10 from us.

Lovely chill out site with great view looking out to cauldy, owners nice pleasant, showers/toilets clean and warm water. Def go back. Easy access to tenby down the hill you come out just above the harbour 10 mins walk, could do with a few more elctric hook ups, field well kept and as I said owners very approachable if you need any advise

We stayed 4 nights last week and loved the site. The views are great, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The walk to Tenby is nice however the walk back is not for the faint hearted.
We did not use the site facilities, but they appeared fine. My only criticism was that the water pressure was low in the taps for filling the aqua roll, that said however the pressure was bad in the town as well. We will now be using this as our site of choice now.

We have just left this wonderful park. Got home about an hour ago and we were all sad we had to leave :(
The park was lovely and clean, as we're toilets and showers. The park wasn't crammed full of holiday makers all squeezed in like sardines, there was plenty of room around us, no rubbish lying around. The views were breathtaking and beautiful to wake up to. We had a lovely 10 min stroll down to the town, but a bit of a slog back uphill lol.
The owners were efficient and ever so polite. Loved the manageress, girl power at its best ;)
Will we return? - most definitely! And would recommend this park to anyone, go elsewhere and you will be disappointed!

Just returned from a week at this site, the campsite is in a perfect location but the facilities are greatly lacking, during the week my partner and I had one hot shower and that was after getting up at 6am, no matter what time you went they were cold and the site wasn't full. If you want a great location but don't mind cold showers and watching your puts outside in the rain, this site is ok for you. Hopefully new owners will sort out the facilities to make it a truly great site.

We phoned Meadow Farm to see if they had availability for our motor home, tiny 2 person tent to be erected within the motorhome canopy, plus car. I was quoted £28. 50per night for this including two adults and three children. I accepted this, left my name and agreed to see her later that day. On arrival this had increased to £37. 50. And the person I spoke to had no memory of me phoning. I thought we must be at the wrong site but we were tired and felt we had to stay. On checking since returning home I can confirm that we were at the site I had spoken to earlier. The good things about the site were the view, and proximity to Tenby and very nice people staying next door both sides.
However, the sloping pitch was small and I could not level the motorhome even though I sited it along the pitch. There was no room to the side of the van so had to park the car in front which blocked the view. The tent fitted beneath the Fiamma canopy.
The toilets were scruffy but clean the showers were even scruffier, tepid water and insects everywhere. The chemical waste disposal was down several uneven steps and primitive to say the least. The washing up area consisted of a sink and drainer, no additional worksurface and I observed people with dishes on the ground and clearly having difficulty managing. There was no canopy or light at the washing up area, obviously a problem at night or in rain.
We found drinking water available in two taps in our field. One not easily accessible to a motorhome and the other had no fittings for a hose.
The electricity hook up failed to allow us to use our toaster or water heater. This is a problem I have never encountered on the many sites we have stayed at. Given the chilly water and bugs we would have preferred to use our own shower but this was impossible. Fortunately our stay was brief and the weather was good!
I noticed that the site and adjacent property is for sale. With some investment and serious upgrading this could be a fantastic site because of its view and position. I sincerely hope that this is possible because we would not pay a return visit unless the shortfalls described are rectified. We felt it was extremely poor value for money for us.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Meadow Farm. The campsite is in an excellent position elevated above Tenby and only ten mins walk down hill to the town. It's always harder walking up hill so grab a cab for about £3. 00 or get your daily exercise strolling back. The campsite is fairly basic with two large fields. The first one is slightly sloping but not a huge problem if you pad up your sleeping bag underneath to stop you sliding down in the night, the best is that you have front row seats to the view of Tenby. The second field behind is still nice and a little flatter. In the toilet block there are three ladies toilets and three men's it is basic and cleaned daily however a good hose-down each evening might be a good idea to remove the moths and insects which get trapped. Unfortunately there is only one sink to wash pots and not under cover, this didn't bother us as the campsite was very quiet and the weather was hot and dry, I'm not sure how it will work out if the site is busy.
I would highly recommend this campsite if you are happy with one which is no frills in a great location and it is great falue for money. The owners are friendly and helpful holding a small amount of drinks, fruit and veg in their reception.
Tip of the day, buy bags of ice at Sainsbury's in town for £1. 00 put in a bucket or bowl to cool down your beer and vino, especially if it's a hot day! It was great.

Just returned from a great 2 night stay at Meadow Farm campsite, Tenby. Arrived to a warm welcome from Bob who was very friendly and happy to part with some useful local info. We were free to choose our own pitch. The facilities were much better than expected after reading previous reviews. There is a shower block with 4 showers with hot water. Mens/Ladies toilet blocks have 3 toilets and 2 sinks. Toilet roll and hand towels provided. There was also a powerpoint in toilet block and 2 mirrors.
There is also a washing up sink and draining board with hot water.
Site was in very good location, was a 10 minute walk downhill into the town and only cost £3 in taxi. The taxi dropped us back right outside our tent as well! View from camping field is loevely of the town and coastline.
Would return here again - good value for money, great location and friendly owners.

Meadow Farm really is a hidden gem in Tenby.
The views over Tenby and beyond to Caldey island are fantastic. You could just sit at the site and stare out at the view all day long.
The walk to Tenby town and the beaches is about 15-20 mins (you will keep stopping to take photos on the way), a taxi from the centre of Tenby was £3.
I phoned to reserve a place and spoke to a lovely friendly lady who gave my directions and answered all questions I had.
On arrival there are 2 gravel tracks, the left one takes you to the reception and the right one to the site. (HINT drive up to the site and then walk down to the reception as its quite tight to turn around).
The site is well kept grass on a gentle slope, but no-one had any problems or issues with this.
The showers are free and hot (The only issue was not enough pegs to hang your clothes), the toilet block consisted of 3 toilets 2 sinks and an electric socket for a shaver. All very clean and well maintained.
For :-
Views, cost, no nonsense, clean and safe
Against :-
Could do with a shelf or extra hooks in showers (if this is the downside its not bad is it :))

Just returned from a two night stay here. Our first camping trip as a family (with a 4 year old child). The view is spectacular and it helped that the weather was gorgeous! The facilities were fine, toilets clean and showers not too bad. Owners were very helpful. The beach is fantastic, and not far to walk. Well worth the money. We visited folly farm which is not far and brilliant for kids. We would def visit again if it was closer :)
