After reading the reviews we decided that yes the facilities didn't sound too wonderful, but we couldn't get any closer to Tenby if we tried so we booked a week with electrics. At first we were happy enough as the sites positioning was out of this world, with views looking straight over Tenby harbour.
The penny dropped (excuse the pun!) when after our first day there, when the ladies three toilets were now two, as the flush handle had snapped off! Well not to worry I thought ,someone will fix it, now to have a shower. Small, dirty and no water pressure, hence no water. The washing up facilities, a tap right outside the toilets about 12inches off the floor. Well to top it all, on day three another loo handle had snapped off, leaving a site of women and many small children with one toilet and two rather smelly broken ones. As a plumbers wife I personally would of had a go at mending them, how difficult and expensive can it be? I'm sure one days camping fee would of paid for it.
And so it goes folks, a potentially fantastic site with breath taking views is spoilt by facilities

Just got back from 5 nights camping here. Had a great pitch overlooking Tenby bay and the horses in the field. Pitches are on the outskirts of the field so the kids can play in the middle. All quiet by 10.30pm ish so good for families with young kids. Ten mins to beach and 20mins to town downhill, bit longer on the way back!
This is a small casual campsite with a great view, the only downside are the facilites which are basic and old, and could do with cleaning more than once a day. Saying that, the view and laid-back approach makes up for it so we'll be back!

We have visited this site twice now, mainly for the views which are just breath taking.
The first time we visited was our first camping holiday and I would suggest this site as is basic but is all you need to start you off.
The owners are really lovely and you can buy eggs from them as is a small family farm/ campsite.
Will be going no where but to this site every time we go to tenby

I found this with google & it has a certain style.
We went for 3 nights & paid £14 per night which didn't seem unreasonable. Arriving Friday afternoon in sunshine the view over Tenby was as good as you could find. There were a few hook-ups available, mainly taken by families. We went a bit further away and found many fairly level pitches. The ground is fantastic for pegging.
The site facilities are limited 3 x WCs + 1 shower, 2 sinks in each side & no washing-up area but they were clean. Plenty of hot water.
There is a short walk of about 300m down to the main promenade, shops, cinema etc. A slight deviation to the right brings you to Molly's Cafe for breakfast.
We were surprised that the site wasn't fuller as the weather forecast was fine.
If you enjoy camping you'll like it here. We're going back!

I have visited meadow farm campsite practically every year for the last 13 years, and camping here was always the highlight of the 6 weeks holidays whilst growing up. Yes maybe the facilities are basic, but what more do you need? Isn't that what campings all about? With spectacular views over tenby and caldey island, I will be returning to this site for many years to come and hopefully will bring my own children here one day. The owners are very friendly and always welcome us with open arms on return visits. Even naming a corner after my family as we request the same pitch every year!
IN conclusion I would recommend this campsite to any one who is a true camper and loves tenby as much as we do.
Much appreciation to the Johns family for many happy holidays.

After reading several good reviews on Meadow Farm campsite, I was looking forward to my time there, but I was disappointed by the lack of facilities. The toilets were dirty, very small shower and not for people who have a phobia of spiders. The camp site could be improved with minimum effort, such as filling the several holes in the toilet and shower block and cleaning or replacing the dirty shower curtain. The views were amazing and it was enjoyable to see rabbits running around. At night it was not as quiet as I thought it would be, there were groups of youths, in tents drinking through the night, disturbing others which is not suitable for young children. Youths were also playing football recklessly kicking the ball against cars and caravans. It is only a matter of time before damage is caused. I was let down by few minor things which could be improved, but the campsite is perfectly situated and the views compensated for it all.

Nice site, quite cheap price, well mown grass, no wandering sheep, nice view of Caldey. Close to bus station and train station. Small clean bathroom block no private cubicles. Not a large site but short walk from town centre, 2 minutes from large beach.

Just returned from a great weekend in Tenby in our motorhome. After reading the comments about Meadow Farm we decided to give it a try. Once you enter Tenby you have to negotiate a very narrow steep road up to the site. High motorhomes and caravans beware of over hanging trees on a poorly lit road. Once at Meadow Farm be prepared for a very steep site with no areas suitable for motorhomes. This site does have a wonderful view across Tenby but no comment on amenities as we never stayed long enough as we didnt find a motorhome pitch we were happy with

What a fantastic site, we have just spent a glorious 10 days here and we loved every minute of it, the owners are very nice people, as stated before the views over Tenby are lovely, the site is very basic with no washing facilities and very basic wash rooms but they are clean, we will definitely recommend the site to our friends and will visit again.wish we were still there now!

Wonderful owners, we arrived at one site didnt like it, rang Meadow farm and they were able to let us pitch our tent there. Was a bit pricey at £18 per night, but the views are out of this world, looking out over Tenby and the sea and Caldley island. This made up for the price, as we had nobody in front of us so the view was unspoilt. The campsite had about 28 smallish tents on as the rest of the field is on a slope. Plenty of room, there is 3 toilets for ladies and 1 shower (my daughter used it once and wouldn't use it again - not enough room) The mens is the same, but plenty of hot water and loo paper, no washing up facilities but we filled our bowl up in the sinks in the toilets and washed pots at tent. This caused us no problems. The beach is about 5-10 mins walk downhill, uphill on way back takes abit longer. The way that is recommended is to go through the hotel grounds (but this way to us seemed dangerous if you have small kids as it is a twisty path down a very steep hill, with a steep drop at the side and the path has like shale on it making it slippy) We walked down the road to where there were steps leading down to the beach, (this is a safer way) and didnt really take much longer. 1st time hard work going back uphill, 2nd time gets much easier. Walked into Tenby every night - saves on parking fees.
Overall we will definitely be going back to this campsite again and again, very quiet, everyone seemed to go quiet at around 10pm ish so you could go to bed early if you want and not get disturbed. Cracking views in day and at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 day stay here, and our 2 kids (9 &12) enjoyed the site too, never got bored, if you like a quiet/basic site, then this is the one for you,
