We stayed for a week and weren't impressed.
The track up to the site is very steep and very, very worn, more suited to landrovers than cars. All the pitches were on top of each other and the pitch we had was on a slope under a tree and there were loads of wasps.
Facilities were unbelievably basic and full of spiders.
The only good things were the views, the closeness to the town (all be it with the very steep hill) and the fact that the bins were empted regularly.
It wasn't my best choice of site and we won't be going back.

What a fantastic place. Even though this site slopes a little it more than makes up for it with its stunning views and close proximity to tenby town centre and its lovely beaches.Myself,my wife and my two teeage boys have stayed at this site for the last five years and have always had a wonderful time
Having used a tent in previous years we decided this tear to use a campervan and drive away awning. With everything being so close we did not have to drive anywhere and therefore did not have to disrupt our setup. No driving back and trying to park in the same spot to set up shop.
though its a good pull coming back I walked my kayak on its wheels to North Beach, had a good paddle, then walked it back to the site.
This site has given our family and friends some very happy memories and will no doubt provide many more

This is a beautifully manicured campsite with stunning panoramic views of Tenby and the coastline. The site is a steady 15 minute walk down hill into Tenby centre and the beach where there are shops, restaurants, and bars catering for all budgets.
Unfortunately, the facilities on site are far too basic and in desperate need of renovation, compared with similar sized sites we've stayed at. There are three toilets and one very small shower for each sex. These are in desperate need of general upkeep. There are plenty of bins around site and a waste disposal area but not washing up facilities.
The site is ok for a couple of nights but possibly not ideal for a family on a week long stay. This would definitely be a top class site if there was investment made on the facilities.

Just want to say had a fab time at this camp site, very clean, plenty of rubbish bins around ( and being used) maybe should be made more for recycling though?
Toilets very clean, but very cold. Shower facilities a bit too basic for me to use though
Easy 10 min walk down to North beach, maybe too steep for young children and elderly though
Exceptionally good value for money for a lovely clean and quiet site within walking distance of town.
Kids entertained themselves climbing trees and playing with new friends, shame no play area BUT they enjoyed themselves

This site is truly a 'campers' paradise, toilets and shower, what more does one need! For those looking for a more glamping experience, try surrounding campsites where facilities abound.
Myself and two boys have been camping here for the last six years and find it more than adequate, just look at the view!
The owners of the site are very friendly and always ready to give advice on where to go and eat.
As for the toilet and shower facilities, this has been an on going struggle with the local authority who will not give planning consent to upgrade.
To all you glampers, it leaves this site for people who appreciate quiet and a good view. So long as you can plan your meals and buy supplies in town, you will have no problem with this site. It is what it is.

I loved this campsite! Views are absolutely gorgeous and its within 10mins walk down hill to the stunning beach.
We were spoilt for choice as to where we could pitch our tent and had a field to ourselves for the majority of our 6night stay in early June.
Even though the toilet block could do with a little updating it was always clean, so didn't bother me at all.
All in all a great little site. We'll be returning

What a Fantastic site! Very basic facilities but the site is so relaxed that it really doesn't matter. The site is a gently sloping field with hook-ups along the top edge, and the view is out of this world - on a sunny day it's difficult to tear yourself away to go and buy something to eat.
There is no shop, playground, club or bar. Situated above Tenby on the edge of town with about 15-20 mins stroll into town. Tenby has sandy beaches right under the town, a harbour and boat trips to the nearby island, or to go fishing. Add to that local castles to visit and superb coastal walks. Parking is plentiful including a small multi-storey next to the Sainsbury's, with a good fruit and veg shop just up the road and a really good local butcher in the town market.
Interestingly Tenby seems to have weathered the recession well with only one or two shops closed up and the town has a a busy bustling feel. Good food and service at the 'Ocean', bottom of high St. where it meets the harbour, and two cafes with free wi-fi.
From chatting to regular visitors it seems that bank hols are best avoided, but otherwise just get your booking in now.
Will we be going back? Definitely!

This site is situated over looking Tenby Town and the view is fantastic, the town is easily accessible via a short walk, however it should be noted that the journey back is always up hill!.
The site consists of two fields and a shower / toilet block. Certain pitches have electric hook up, the level of the pitches do differ based on where you are positioned.
The toilet / shower block consists of three toilets and one shower per sex ( that's not a typing error there is only one shower per sex ) This area of the site is in desperate need of modernisation, due to the position and type of construction the building suffers from more than it's fair share of insects, slugs and snails. Although the block is cleaned daily, due to the limited services and heavy use it never really looked or smelled clean.
I would recommend this site, however you do have to contemplate the toilet / shower block, personally I would not return until this area has been replaced with a facility that is more complimentary to the pitching charges requested.

We had a great week at Meadow Farm. Fully expected basic facilities and weren't disappointed. However, the owners are now on their 4th appeal for planning permission because Pembroke National Park want to make them smaller!
Despite that, the toilets were always clean and the shower was always hot. Site was well cared for and the pitches level enough for this part of Wales. The owners were also very helpful, especially when the wind had a go at our tent.
The views are stunning out over Caldey Island and Tenby is perfect for family holidays; particularly for younger children as there is plenty to do when its raining. The beaches are great for sandcastles and feel very safe.

Just got back from a week at Meadow Farm campsite. What a fantastic little site with a great view over the town of Tenby and Caldy Island. The site is up a lane from North Beach so it only takes about 15 minutes to walk into town, but a little longer to walk back up the hill. It is a basic site which I loved but the shower block needs some work.
In town I suggest the Vista Cafe for a good cup of coffee. The Bucanneer pub did good food.
I have no problem in recommending this site.
