Very good site and facilities. The site is kept very clean, there was no litter anywhere to be found and the toilets are cleaned twice a day by the owners. There is large spacing between pitches which are all hardstandings.
Our pitch also had a waste point for sink / shower drains and also had a TV aerial, although I don't think all pitches have these.
Stone Pitt is very well situated for all attractions and the local bus stops at the site entrance, you can even get a bus timetable from reception.
We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely go back again.

Previous reviews accurate, nothing much more to add except brilliant site (toilet block slightly dated but always clean and very acceptable given cost of pitch). Helpful owners, will even put caravan onto pitch if required. Would return and would recommend.
Children (7&9) enjoyed Blue lagoon, Oakwood, Beaches and bike ride around Castlemartin firing range.
Blue lagoon after dark session value for money at £5 per person but book in advance or you may not be able to enter at 6pm as advertised! We went at 5. 40 but couldn't swim until 7pm.

What a fantastic site! Great facilities all of which were spotlessly clean, staff friendly & helpful, what more could you want?!
Ideally placed to visit the beaches at Amroth, Wiseman's Bridge & Tenby & all the other great attractions that Pembrokeshire has to offer.
Pitches on our field were all hard-standing & large enough to fit our caravan with full awning on. Each pitch had a large patch of grass in between each unit for you to park on. Grey waste drain on each pitch too so bring a long enough piece of pipe & leave your waste master at home!
Large grassed area in the middle for kids to play with other caravanners children on & also has a play area (roundabout, swings & slide) just a short stroll away within the site grounds.
Site felt very safe & has a barrier system in operation (£5 deposit - refundable) to allow entry & exit from the site.
Numerous showers & toilets on the site that the owners seemed to spend most of the day cleaning & there is a useful utility area for dish washing with 2 washing machines & 2 tumble dryers available for use. (£2 per load washing / 50p per load drying). There is also a freezer for customers use that is free.
All this for £20 per night, an absolute bargain.
Weather was superb when we stayed & we will definitely be returning again. Have already recommended to many caravanning friends!

Even though the weather was rubbish, we enjoyed our stay at Stone Pitt. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. One particularly windy night, we had to take our awning down, and Phil was kind enough to let us store some of our stuff in a shed.
The pitches were good, although the little stones next to the hard standing get everywhere. Showers and toilet blocks very good. Our children enjoyed the play ground. Freeview very good, some pitches even had their own ariels.
Security good with electric key. Loads to do in local area. Blue Lagoon, Folly Farm, Oakwood to name but a few. Would like to see more equipment in the children's play area. Will be going back again.

Just returned from our first visit to this lovely site. Our pitch was just right for our small two berth tourer, and had ample space for our caravan and full size awning, both of which were on nice level hardstanding, with large grassed area adjacent for our own use. Our pitch had EHU & grey water waste drainage, and had nice hedgerow separating it from adjacent field with additional hardstandings.
Ladies shower block had two hand washbasins, two separate shower cubicles, each with dry area. Showers not on a timer (welcome change) with variable temperature control and water pressure. Two separate toilet cubicles also present - all kept nice and clean. My Husband informs me that Gents shower facilities were same, but with addition of urinal.
Site lovely and quiet, with nice large pitches for all. Two chemical disposal points, and two water points. The site encourages recycling, and as such has several marked bins along with additional 'general waste' bins. Nice dog walk at bottom of site with bins placed accordingly. Lovely open countryside views.
The owners, Claire & Phil could not be more helpful, and never seem to stop in their endeavours to keep site fully operational. Site set in nice quiet village, with shop within walking distance. Lot's of cuddly rabbits present on site, which seemed apt as our stay was across Easter weekend!
Although our visit was just myself, my Husband & our two dogs, the site seems very child-friendly with decent size safe play area. We would certainly visit this site again, and are in fact planning our next visit sometime soon. Highly recommended.

What can I say, this is a wonderful site in a great setting, pitches are spacious and level, toilet block kept lovely and clean. The owners are lovely and very helpful and always around. This was our first time in Pembrokshire and we loved it, the beaches are great and the attractions are reasonably priced
The site is situated in a village which has a lovely bakery, a pub which does a very nice carvery, there is also a fish shop, Chinese takeaway and a large co-op. The site is well placed for all the local attractions.
We didn't want to come home, but we are looking forward to going back next year, we have already booked.

WOW! What a site. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful, we were made to feel very welcome.
We were shown to our pitch and the owner even reversed our camper on the pitch for us (I'm not good at reversing!). We were then asked if we had a long enough waste pipe. We didn't, so they provided one.
All pitches were hard standing, if you have an awning take rock pegs, and a good hammer. There is plenty of room between units and the site was not packed out, very comfortable. It was quiet at night, didn't even hear a car drive past.
Showers were hot and free, and cleaned regularly. The toilets were fully stocked with loo roll.
Safe and secure with security cameras and a key-fob barrier.(£5 refundable deposit). Simple children's play area. Which my kids loved. There was a laundry room (however we didn't use it). The site also has recycling facilities, caravan storage, and wild rabbits were seen frequently.
All in all this is the best site we have stayed at in Tenby over the last 8 years. Definitely going back in 2010.

Nice site overall, although tents could do with being higher up as at the bottom of the park. Got very wet in the rain. Toilet and shower block were kept clean and tidy by Claire herself who is very friendly. Higher toilet block seems to be in better condition and washing up facilities are rather a walk from tent pitches as at the very top of the site. - Could do with adding another washing up area onto the toilet block lower down. Site as a whole on a big slope with play area behind lower toilet block, which the kids seemed to enjoy!
Folly farm a great place for those with younger children and just a five minute ride up the road.
Only thing not mentioned on website is that you have to pay a returnable deposit of £5 for the gate key
All pitches have hook -ups available which is good, seems better suited for caravans than tents

Stayed at this campsite last weekend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are good; very short walk to a shower and toilet block, which also had clean water and toilet emptying facilities. Showers were clean and had plenty of hot water but, the water pressure wasn't very good so only a trickle came out and the block had no hairdriers for these you had to go to the block at the top of the site, which is also where the washing up area is.
The tent area is right at the bottom of the site and is fenced off from the dog walking area. Our only criticism of the site is the slope to the field and the number of furrows. This meant that it was difficult to keep items on the table or stove.
The pitch we had was the furthest to the left and it seemed that the further right you go the flatter it became. This is disappointing as all the caravan pitches have had walls built to make them level, shame they didn't do the same for the tents.
Would have rated them higher if the pitch had been better.

I only have one criticism about this site and that is that the pitch we fell in love with is soon to be a static pitch :(
What can I say - this is a fantastic site, the proprietors could not be more helpful - we had a problem with our gas on arrival and within minutes of asking for help I had everything I needed and all the tools as well!
My kids loved the playground although it is on quite a slope for not so good for tiny tots but my 3, 5, 12 and 14yr old loved it along with all the other kids who flocked along.
Friendly, helpful, close to Tenby, closer to Saundersfoot and folly farm just up the road.
Excellent value for money and I will return right up until my pitch has got a static in place!
Also a very good co-operative just 2 min drive away
Showers free, cleaned at least twice a day - dog walk area makes brill cricket pitch
