The first thing to say is A* brilliant site. We stayed for 3 nights over the whitson bank holiday and had a fab time. The tent pitch area is at the bottom end of the site but it close to one of the toilet / shower block. The toilet / shower block has two toilets and two showers, and were always clean and tidy. At the top end of the site there is another toilet / shower block with two of each, and there are two family rooms. There was always plenty of hot water. The dishes room was good and included washing machine and dryers ( for a reasonable fee). The only thing with the dish room is that it is at the furthest point for the tent pitches. However there is room to park a car, or in nice weather you can walk up. The owners are friendly, helpful and always around the site.
We had two dogs with us so the dog walk area was great, there is plenty of room to let them off for a run or to just walk them around.
In our party there was 6 adults and 2 dogs in a large tent and we had plenty of room. The site prices are reasonable.

Just spent a week over easter at this a+ campsite. Owners are indeed very helpful and friendly. Toilets are very clean with the big plus of soap and toilet paper always available.
Lovely views from top of site could even see the giraffes at folly farm running around. We were in the bottom field for tents approx 6 pitches with ehu. The children loved playing with the rabbits and using the dog field as a footy pitch. Which was ok because by the end of the week there was only one little dog and no other tents on site.
Toilets are close to all pitches (2 blocks) all in all will return to this brill site but will have to book well in advance.

This is an amazing site, went in the last week of July 08 and must have had the only week of sun in the summer. The owners of this site are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in our tent on a lovely flat spacious pitch with our friend next to us. The toilets and showers are cleaned 2 or 3 times a day by the owner herself. The site is very peaceful and my children loved seeing the wild rabbits wandering around the site in the evenings excellent site would recommend to everyone

Lovely quiet site, toilets were one of the cleanest I've ever seen! The owners themselves cleaned them at least twice a day and were always around if you needed anything, the showers needed to be a bit more powerful though, children's play area was separate and although my kids were abit too old they are great, most pitches are hardstanding with waste water facility in with the price.
All in all a great site to stay. The site could do with a small shop even if it sold just essentials

Me, My Wife and twin girls (aged 5) stayed at Stone Pitt for two weeks and it was brilliant! we were lucky with the weather as it only rained for 2 hours in the whole of our stay. The campsite itself is very well maintained and very clean, The owners cannot do enough to help you and are always around the site, Either cleaning the shower blocks or mowing the grass. It is generally a quiet campsite and we had no problems with noise or anything. There is a nice dog walk area to the bottom of the site and the camping area is very well kept with only about 8 tent pitches. My girls loved the playpark and spent a lot of time on the swings, roundabout and slide. There are Hard Standings for all the Caravans of which all had their own drainage. There is a Co-op, Chippy and Chinese take away just a couple of minutes away. We spent most our time in Saundersfoot(2km away) which was great with beautiful sandy beaches, And also Tenby(5km away). We also visited Pembroke Castle(10km away) and Folly Farm (1km away) all of which were great fun and very reasonable priced. I really Cannot say enough about this site and will definitely stay again in the Future. Many thanks for a wonderful stay !

1st time caravaning we did not have a long enough mains lead (they lent us one) we did not have a long enough waste pipe (they lent us one) nothing was to much trouble.
The showers & toilets were cleaned twice daily & there was an abundance of hot water (never had to queue for toilet or shower.
There was also washing & drying facilities 50p a time & two sinks for your kitchen ware.
The site was spotlessly clean & everybody respected everybody on the site it was like home from home.
We had lots of rain but lots to do including the new blue lagoon water park (excellent 3 hrs out family ticket £38.00) but beware of cafe prices are extreme £2.00 for a coke etc ,needless to say we will be booking up next year & thereafter as long as the present owners ar present. We travelled tenby on the rainy days looking at sites but could not find one that came close A+ site (happy holidays) you will not be disappointed

Have just spent 9 days at Stone Pitt and would highly recommend it, on booking we asked for a pitch away from the noise of children (being old fogeys) this was granted and the pitch we got which was near the reception was lovely, I like the way the hard standing pitches are raised up to be as level as you could possibly get them,in pouring rain you would not get flooded out.
The lady owner couldnt be more pleasant or helpful.
There isnt a shop on site but there is a decent Co-Op up the road, also a smashing Fish n Chip shop (went there often)they also do breakfasts.
If the laundry is busy on site, the one near the chippie is very good. There is a hotel across the road from the site I think its called the Manion (not sure if spelt right)and they do gorgeous food well worth a visit, maybe not if you have 5 kids but as a treat for adults its worth the money to chill out in nice surroundings.
Went by bus to Saundersfoot, enjoyed the ride and the visit there.Went to Tenby lovely place well worth a visit.
All in all a really nice break.
Would love to go back sometime, considering its a 3* I was very pleasantly surprised.

As mentioned in other reviews the facilities are of a high standard and the park is run and maintained very professionally. The folks who run the park are so helpful not only with site matters but also with advice on touring and caravanning in general. Rowdy behaviour is not encouraged but that said it is quite relaxed and not stiff and the owners are not jobsworths like you can get on some other parks / sites. There are nice views of the local area from all over the park also there is quite a large play area for children and folly farm is less than 5 mins away which is superb even when its raining as lots of it is undercover. All in all a cracking place which I have visited several times and plan/hope to do so many many more times.

This is a lovely family run campsite that is mainly caravan pitches. We took our tent and were thrilled when we reached our pitch. This is a picturesque site with a fenced off area for approximately 6 tent pitches, all are powered tent sites if required. This site suited us ideally as the tent pitches are right next to the dog walk area and we had 2 dogs. The site was boom gate controlled (£5 refundable deposit for the card) so that only campers could gain vehicular access to the site. There were 2 facility blocks both with showers and toilets, the main block near reception also had a coin operated laundry (with iron & ironing board) and a free freezer that you could put food or freezer packs in at no extra charge. There was also a nice play area for the children (we had 2) to use. The site was within 10 to 15 min walking distance (5 mins driving) to a reasonable sized Co-op supermarket at Kilgetty that has all the supplies you could need. Kilgetty also has a laundrette, train station, hardware store, fish & chip shop and a Chinese takeaway, however if you want a Chinese on a Friday or Saturday night get your order in early to collect later because they are not quick and often turn orders away! If you have a car this site is an excellent base for exploring this part of Wales. It is within a short drive of Saundersfoot and Tenby(busses to both are available from Kilgetty), slightly further afield are Pembroke and Carmarthen. The site owners were extremely friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We would recommend this site to any family wanting a small, quiet family site. All in all we found this an excellent, friendly and well kept site in a good location for exploring the area.

Fantastic. All the pitches are very well spaced and on hardstanding's Owners very site proud. They even reversed our caravan on the pitch for us and plugged in the electric lead.TV ariels on each pitch. Just what you'd want for a quiet relaxing time, in a beautiful location. Childrens play area is traditional, swings, slide, roundabout. Clean toilets, and showers, laundry room. Within walking distance of local shops and pubs. Only dispointment was the Monkey Sancutary/ Belgetty Gardens on the same road. Total waste of money, expensive entrance and only 7 monkeys. The breakfast in the cafe looked very good though. Also very dissapointed we couldn't store our caravan there next year due to a long waiting list, we loved it so much. Will definetly be a regular though.
