A really nice clean site with excellent sanitary facilities. Warden is very helpful and friendly. Site is slightly sloping but the grass is well cut and the service road provides good clean access to the pitches.
At the time we visited the site was quiet with only about 6 tents but the static vans had some residents.
Barbecues permitted if off the ground.

Stayed here in 1999 twice, 2002 and 2004. Great site, and run by a wonderful family who do everything to make you feel welcome.
It is basically a single field which is never over-crowded, with a toilet/shower block that is kept immaculately clean at all times. We have been there in torrential rain, glorious sunshine, and pretty much everything in between, but the site has remained well-drained and everything has stayed working when all around has struggled! The owners are careful not to over-use pitches so the grass is always lush and soft underfoot.
Reception will sell gas and that's about it, but there is a small supermarket in the nearby village which will keep you stocked with essentials and there are larger supermarkets in the vicinity.
The site is just outside Looe which is a lovely traditional Cornish sea/river-side town with everything you would expect (chip shops, cream teas, art galleries, and so on). Its also a great base for exploring further down the coast.
Would definitely recommend, particularly to those who want a quiet holiday or who have toddlers. We have now moved on to sites with playground facilities as our kids are older and need a venue to meet new friends, but I'm sure we will be back in the future sometime.

Well signposted off the B3359 we arrived to a very warm welcome at Trelay Farm. The site staff Carol and Keith were always very helpful and gave us lots of information on the area.
The toilet block for the camping field was fantastic. A relatively new building, it was cleaned regularly and well equipped. My fiancee found the showers a little cold for her liking as the weather was not hot enough to compensate, but this is just personal preference and I am sure not a general consensus. There is a good washing-up room and laundry room.
The camping field is well kept with marked pitches allowing enough space for tents and cars of all shapes and sizes. There is a large child’s play area in the centre of the camping field for children to roam free without disturbing other campers.
Carol and Keith also operate a hot food van that sells burgers and sandwiches as well as chilled drinks. This was a nice touch although it does not operate Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. A well stocked information room also features a fridge and freezer for people to use for their own storage or borrow from the large stock of ice blocks.
The nearest village of Pelynt (less than a mile away) we found most pleasant, a large Spa shop provided immediate needs and the pub (The Jubilee Inn) was a nice place to eat out, although its popularity does mean it gets quite busy so try to book in advance.
There are many things to do in this corner of South Cornwall and because the weather was wet this forced us to go and explore places rather than sit on the beach all day. The nearby town of Looe (3.5 miles away) is a pretty and popular fishing port with quaint streets of shops and a large and clean beach. There are many places to eat and drink out, somewhere for all tastes.
The tourist honeypot village of Polperro provided a good day out with lots to see. Our highlight was the intriguing Smuggling Museum which has a bargain entry price of £1.75. Another place worth a visit is the nearby beach of Talland Bay which is beautiful and has a lovely and highly rated café.
Further afield, the Eden Project is a great day out and we would also recommend spending a day on the Bodmin and Wenford railway. One piece of advice for the area; if you are getting around by car then be sure to consult a map, if like my fiancee you are a bit nervous on the narrow roads then try to plan your route accordingly, although local drivers are very considerate and helpful.
Trelay Farmpark is a wonderful site offering excellent facilities with super helpful staff in Carol and Keith. It is well located for exploring a beautiful part of Cornwall. We would highly recommend this site offering good rates for a great camping experience.

Just returned after a 4 night stay at Trelay. Very clean and tidy site, immaculate grounds and toilet block. Only problem we had was we were surrounded by very large tents which seemed to be pitched on top of each other and on top of us!
I don't have a problem with tents but we felt very hemmed in and the kids were back and fore right up close to my windows looking in on us.
Won't be returning again, I'm afraid.

Very friendly welcome from reception. Someone always available. Small shop in reception that has gas canisters etc, and kettles for camping stoves and a few other bits. Information room, wow, every leaflet under the sun for Cornwall and some for Devon. Laundry room, Chemical toilet room, Bathrooms (see below) Water points, telephone room. Reasonable prices for service, location, and amenities. Very nice, small site, so nice and quiet, just off main road, but we never heard a thing. Bins emptied daily, and plenty of in the center of the site. Grass cut nearly daily as people moved on. Quite protected from wind etc. Well lit at night. Bathrooms were VERY clean and tidy, free hot showers, and please mop out any grass or fluff or whatever after you have finished. (treat it like your own home) Very generous pitches, clearly marked. Slight slope, some on level, but place your tent the right way, and it won't bother you. A mix of tent, tourer and static, but this made it all the more attractive to stay as a very nice mix of people. Kids absolutely loved it here, and we WILL return next year for even longer. You will enjoy if you visit.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and have just re-found it under listings as forgot to add review after staying! I remember site as VERY clean and managers REALLY helpful, they even lent us an OS map to go walking with - we were quite prepared to buy one but that wasn't required. They copied bus timetables for us too, and recommended the butchers in the village for our BBQ - which was very well received! Pub is a 10 min walk into village along side of road - be careful at night.

What a joy to arrive at this site. Entrance is through the residential vans area which is immaculate. Then through to the touring area, we were the only people in residence! A really warm welcome from the owners who showed us to our pitch. Toilet block was spotless and there was also a disabled facility and laundry room. All pitches are grass. There is a phone booth and information room, which also houses a fridge and freezer for the use of people on site ( nice touch ). A daily weather forecast was posted at reception. All in all a really nice site.

The owners and their son were extremely friendly and accommodating. The free use of the fridge and freezer was great and the shower block was kept immaculately clean. Showers were always hot too! The notice board used for the weather forecast and a 'thought for the day' added something quite unique. Add to that the beauty of the surrounding area. This site turned out to be a good choice!

This was our first outing in our brand new van and virgin towing at that. We arrived late after very traumatic trek and the welcome was fabulous. The owners are the kindest friendly people you could meet . Nothing too much trouble and a wealth of info for the novice like us.
The site is kept immaculate and the toilet/washing facilities are great. All pitches are placed in 2 rows around the edges with a huge area kept for activities in the middle. Had lovely lazy couple of days bbq in the evening sooo relaxing. It was full but still had feeling of space.
Good value and we would definitely return in the future.

The toilets and showers were very clean and the owners went out of their way to ensure you have a very good stay. The weather report posted daily was very accurate. we enjoyed it so much we went back two weeks later for another week and will be going back next year. Plenty space for the kids to play. A small very friendly site with nothing too much trouble. The owners are willing to put your caravan on pitch and ensure that it is level.
