July 2005 We were very dissapointed with this site although it was kept in very good condition we felt far too controlled. When we arrived we were not only given a pitch, but told exactly where and what position to put our tent which turned out to be angled so as to have no privacy for either us or those next to us.
The showers were clean but cold every day except one, the park was not busy so this cant be due to many people using it. We were told before we arrived that there was a bus service but when we got there the owner admitted that it was infrequent (about four a day and one on sundays), as we were 3 miles outside Looe it was lucky that one of us drove, but part of our holidays is that my partner wants a break from driving, especially after driving so far to get there.
There is a village pub about ten minutes walk away but it is geared firmly towards food service so you feel uncomfortable if you'd only like a quick drink. We are by no means looking for loud, boisterous holidays but this was not the holiday we were led to believe it would be. There are many sites around this area (with more frequent bus services!) and we would recommend you use them instead.

August 2004 We found this site through the listings on UKCS, and after looking at their website decided to go this year. It is everything the website says it is, and more!
I have never seen cleaner toilets and showers. The site is exceptionally well kept and the owners work extremely hard to provide a first class campsite. For anyone looking for a quiet site without the "clubhouse, all singing and dancing scene" this is the ideal site.
It is approximately ten minutes walk into the village, for shops and the local pub. There were young children on site, and they had plenty of room to run around and play. The centre of the site was left clear for this very purpose. We will definately go again.
