Recommended to us by a motorhome site. What a fabulous place. This is an adult only site 10 minutes walk into Burford which has everything you need. Bus stop just round the corner which takes you to Whitney or Woodstock. The wardens are delightful and very helpful. The pitches are spacious and quite private. Some hard standing and some with own water. The toilets and showers are spotless. Try Huffkins in the town for a delicious breakfast. They also do wonderful bread and cakes!

Beautiful campsite. The location is spot on and the warden and his wife were so lovely. My husband and I and our Boxer Lola enjoyed our stay so much. The toilets and showers were so clean. I would love to stay again and again and again. Thank you so much for a lovely two days

Situated alongside Burford school and occupying a small corner of the school grounds it's easy to find although the tracks on the site were a little tight for large rigs. Booked in last minute for the Christmas hols and were warmly met by the warden who showed us to our pitch. It seems that several folks had cancelled at the last minute so the site was very quiet. Burford is a pretty town with most of the features on the main road and having a goodly number of eateries and pubs per yard. Burford golf club, being next door to the site, advertised a warm welcome on its website and indeed, on the billboard at the entrance - don't believe it. ! We visited the clubhouse with a view to having a meal after a round of golf only to be told by an 'official' in the most taciturn manner 'members only'. Asking why the publicity invited visitors, again came the stark reply 'members only'. We were given no reason, no apology - only the rudest of rebuttals. Wysdom site on the other hand had all the facilities we could hope for albeit in need of a little updating. We shall visit again soon to explore this scenic area in greater detail.

Just had a lovely New Year stay at Wysdom Touring Park. We received a very warm welcome from wardens John and Lesley who couldn't do enough to help. We got set up on our hard standing pitch and decided to check out Burford, which we were told was just a 5 minute walk. For a change, this information was spot on and apart from the steep hill back to the site and crossing the busy A40 it was a pleasant walk. Burford is a lovely village with many quirky shops and plenty of traditional Cotswold pubs. We enjoyed a couple of lovely meals over the weekend. Now back to the site, very well kept which was very impressive even during the winter. The amenities block included 2 bathrooms which were immaculate even though a little dated. In addition there is another WC around the back of the block, and a washing up area. All well organised and very clean. We certainly look forward to visiting again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Delightful small site just outside Burford - easy walking distance but be prepared for a steep hill on the way back!
Really friendly wardens (?owners) and being adults only was lovely and quiet. Simple facilities - hook up, shower rooms (proper shower rooms with the loo inside, though there are only two of them)
Burford is charming. Nice shops, plenty of eating places. Very good site in our view

A lovely, very well kept compact site. Basic facilities, but perfectly adequate and very clean. Electric hook-up was included in the price. Showers cost 30p. - Other reviewers have criticised the washing-up facilities, but we didn't use them so no comments on those here. Very close to the A40 and there is some traffic noise, but this is not too intrusive, as long as you're not looking for a perfect rural idyll.
The town of Burford itself is as picturesque as they come, but is a bit of tourist magnet so does get very busy. Lots of cafes/restaurants and plenty of nice pubs serving local real ales. Don't forget to visit the Parish Church a the bottom of the hill, it's a gem with plenty of history attached.

Stayed here for 5 nights, the managers are extremely helpful and friendly. The site is kept clean and tidy and is nice and secluded. It is a short walk into Burford which is lovely and awash with places to eat. If you're into golf, Burford golf club is literally next door and we were welcome to eat and drink there as we had played there.
There is no Wifi on site, but for the price of a cup of coffee, there is a Little Chef just around the corner with free Wifi.
TV reception is intermittent, but we managed to get a few channels.
There are only 2 showers which are unisex and are cubicles integrated with a toilet, shower tokens have to used 30p from managers. Take care of these as people tend to misplace them!

Stayed there twice this year can`t wait to go back, Lesley and John that run the site are very friendly and welcoming they also work hard in keeping the place up to an excellent standard, the toilet block although old is immaculate, each time we have been, there has always been a lovely friendly atmosphere. You can easily walk into Burford where there are plenty of pubs cafes and shops to explore they also have a small coop there, the nearest big store is Asda just under 10 mins away by car they also have fuel.

What a lovely site this is ! Beautifully maintained, the site is awash with wild flowers at this time of year. The toilets and showers were absolutely spotless, as was the whole area. The wardens, John and Lesley were really friendly and made us feel very welcome, thank you so much for a lovely stay.
The village of Burford is about as picturesque as they come, definitely a jewel in the Cotswolds crown.
