A truly lovely campsite. Very quirky and all the better for it. The wardens are very friendly and the sites facilities are spotless. The walk into Burford is short and easy and there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants there. The Lamb in particular is amazing. In short loved this campsite and plan to return.

We stayed here only on a one-night stopover in transit from the South Coast to North Wales. The small site effectively forms the corner at the roundabout between the A40 and the A361. It is subdivided by shrubbery and some small trees and there are trees between it and the roads. As we live in a very quiet area we found the sound of motorbikes, cars and lorries accelerating away from the roundabout quite intrusive, although maybe pitches set back further may be a little quieter. However, these seemed to be taken by non-touring caravans with fairly permanent-looking pot-plants etc.
The toilets and (chargeable) showers were OK but there was a strong smell of sewage at the washing-up area so we didn’t use it.
The site is convenient to walk into fascinating Burford, but avoid doing this during busy traffic periods as it’s difficult to get across the A40 and then you walk beside a continuous jam of lorries, buses, cars, etc going down the hill to the traffic lights at the bridge. The only reasonably safe area to walk our dog on-lead was in a recreation ground the other side of the A40.

This site is in the heart of the Cotswolds and within walking distance to Burford which is a wonderful little town with several very good places to eat and places to visit. We were in the area to visit National Trust Properties and visited Chastleton House and Buscot Park and visits to Witney and Bourton on the Water.
The caravan site is small and the grounds very well maintained, the toilet block is good with excellent showers etc. The washing up area behind the toilet block can only be described as diabolical.

This is a lovely little site I would definitely go back ideal situation for exploring the cotswolds. Burford was a lovely little town and within easy walking distance. The toilets were really clean. The Only downside to this site was that it's close to a main road but that wouldn't stop me from visiting again

This is a lovely quiet, friendly site. We are complete novices to camper vanning and we were relaxed and comfortable putting the awning up and getting settled, the owners came over to offer support and suggestions in a friendly and helpful way. The site is extremely clean and beautifully maintained. The toilets and showers are also clean and comfortable to use. The village of Burford is gorgeous with plenty of good pubs and shops to explore. Oxford is an easy drive away, we found the Park and Ride the best option. If we were ever in that area again we would definitely use this touring park.

Stayed one night before the Levellers day festival. Easy to find and well signposted nearby. Arrived late after phoning ahead and a welcoming display board showed our pitch number. Easy to park and maneuver, on a large level grass pitch. Individual electric points and hedges gave real feeling of 'ownership' of your pitch.
Toilets and showers a little difficult to locate, even on a small site, so a few more signs please, but overall a very very nice site.
Walked into Buford in the evening with our two dogs and were really impressed by the beauty of the town - an undiscovered gem!
We will visit site, town and festival again.

We (wife and I) stayed here for just two nights to visit Burford and the Cotswold wildlife park. This is a perfect spot for just that, close enough to walk into Burford (watch out for The Hill on the way back) and only two miles from the park.
This site is the smallest we've ever used and we do normally prefer larger sites with more/better facilities but the facilities here are perfectly adequate for the length of stay and the size of the site.
Some of the caravans seem to be long term residents with tubs of flowers and plants placed outside but that's not a criticism !
Can't see they we will be back here anytime soon but wouldn't hesitate in recommending it for short stays.

This is a very small but pretty site round the corner from the Little Chef which is on the roundabout. So a cooked breakfast is sorted! The site is just at the entrance to the school. We didn't find it noisy despite location. It is a 5 minute walk downhill to the village where there are some nice quaint pubs which do meals and other little shops. The buildings are pretty made of Cotswold stone. We went to the pretty ivy clad Cotswold Arms. The site is also 2 miles from the Cotswold water park. Electricity is included in the site fee. Showers are 30p. You put 30p in a machine, take a token and use the token for the shower. The small block is unisex. The pitch was half hardstanding, half grass, half enclosed by hedges.

Site close to Burford, easy walking distance, but be earnestness hill back up. Site is compact but neat and tidy, level pitches and though small did not feel cramped. Facilities were clean and well maintained, an honesty box for the showers and hand wash hot water in the sinks. The side is close to the main A40 so there is background traffic noise but it is so convenient and sheltered it dies not disturb too much. Have used before, will use again.

This is a brilliant location to visit Oxford and surrounding area. The site is so well run and Geoff and Kay are so very helpful. Burford is a sort walk to visit as is the local garden centre. Such a charming area to visit don't forget bread to feed the ducks. We visited Blenheim Palace well worth it and Oxford itself brilliant use the Park & Ride as little parking space. So much to see and enjoyed a river trip. Also visited Stonehenge and Salisbury again well worth the time. The site is like someones well kept garden so nice and pretty.
