Great camp site with a great location. It was nice and quiet and the owner was very welcoming and friendly.
The site was dog friendly which was essential to our stay.
I'd stay again without a doubt!

We both liked this site. Basic but met our needs. Quiet and spacious. Two very clean toilets and a good shower room and toilet. The price was the cheapest we have known and although the facilities were quite old they were very clean.
There was only cold water for washing up but this was okay for us.
Sue was very friendly and lent us a long electric cable, as ours was too short.
The site also has a very good phone signal, which was surprising as we felt quite remote.
We found the footpath along the Wye Way, away from Llangurig, tricky to follow, with very old stiles and hard for our dog to climb.
We would use the site again on our way through Wales.

I have been to Glangwy Farm before (over ten years ago) and have fond memories of it.
As last time, it did not disappoint.
Site is well-maintained,
Area is peaceful (occ. Noise from low flying planes and the road),
Toilets are clean.
A lovely site with a warm welcome from Sue.
Price is still ridiculously cheap - we paid under £10 per tent.

What a gem of a site! Originally booked for 9 nights but stayed for 28 - think that says it all!
Fabulous walks from the site - forest, river etc, with amazing flora and fauna.
Farmer Sue could have not have been more helpful or welcoming.
Looking forward to a return in August.

Got to say a few words about this site. First off it's in a top spot ideal for site seeing and walking.
The site is flat and even just a few hundred yards off the main road.
The main thing I was impressed with is just how quiet it was and the amount of wildlife we were able to look at while we were there. The night sky is great.
We witnessed barn owls flying and lots of red kites in the day.
Just to liven things up a few low flying RAF aircraft flew over.

This is a proper 'old school' campsite.
Everything you need with no frills, all clean and well laid out.
Set in wonderful countryside with views in all directions.
Yes its not got a shop on site or 24 hour Karaoke but I for one am glad.
Its a charming place that I will certainly revisit.
Excellent value for money.

Very picturesque site with Sue the friendly owner.
We only stopped the one night on route elsewhere however would heartily recommend it.
Good price with basic facilities but all clean.
The site has wild swimming listed on site however we walked several miles and the only water we came across was a shallow river which had private signs.
A level site and we didn't need to use levels.

Excellent basic site, everything you need on site, local shop and pub/restaurant close enough.
Friendly helpful greeting, from a very busy farmer/ owner, only a call away if needed. Any problem on site you can be assured it will be dealt with.
I would say families welcome as we saw children playing happily, but if you want a party site go to a festival, Likewise if your not prepared to respect other people's peace and property, you will be told to leave, and fair enough too.
Fantastic base for further travel or just to stay in walking distance and enjoy.
Want to go back. What a location
