We are quite new to caravanning, probably visited about half a dozen sites, but would have to go a long way to find one as pleasant and welcoming as Stoney Brook.
David and June the owners are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The 'regulars' on the site are really nice friendly people too.
It is close to the sea and shops, making it ideal if we forget something, the toilet and shower facilities are always spotless and most importantly, our Chihuahuas love it and have made a couple of friends of their own.
Keep up the good work David and June

This is our umpteenth stay at Stoney Brook and we enjoy every minute of every stay. The facilities are perfectly clean and tidy, the site immaculately kept and it is a joy to be able to buy fresh Free Range Eggs, locally made Cakes and Marmalade and various items of bric a brac at very modest prices and in aid of the local and beautiful, Edingthorpe Church, from the information cabin.
David and June the site owners, are always around and about to give help and advice as are site wardens Daryl and Pete.
Our Irish Setter, Henry, loves this site as it is very close to Bacton Woods where he can spend hours searching out Deere and other creatures or can meet the pets of many friendly local pet owners who also use the woods. All in all a lovely place and we will be returning this year (hopefully)
I cannot recommend it too much.

What an excellent little 14 pitch 16 amp hookup site this is, beautifully kept, superb location if you want the best of both worlds either coastal or the broards are at hand.
Two miles outside North Waltham with supermarkets chippy and even the local Chinese delivers to the site ! There's a small hut on site with fresh eggs some veg books cd's ( honesty box payment that is donated to local charities ) by the very clean if small but adequate toilet/ shower block that has a plentiful supply of hot water.
There is also an undercover pot washing sink with cloths and soap in case you forget yours. The owners are always about and very approachable if you have any questions about the site or surroundings. Defiantly recommend this adult only site to anyone

Just spent a fabulous week at this great site. The site is immaculate, lovely setting and easy to find.
The owners are lovely. The site has wardens who we were pitched next to, they are so friendly, so we're their 2 dogs, Sam & Jimmy. The facilities are a little dated but clean and well equipped. The shower area was big and the water was really hot.
We did have some flash wet weather but the owners helped us dry out, they were amazing. Great site, will definitely use again. 5 minute drive to the beach and glorious Norfolk coast.

As a regular user of this site, I must say the owners and wardens couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The pitches are kept in good condition, as are the paddocks, which they kindly allow visitors to use for exercising their dogs.
The toilets are kept clean and regularly checked. There is also fresh eggs(owners own chickens) and cakes, jams and other items for sale in a little hut. It is ideally located for coast, town, the Broads and Norwich.
Also some very good local eateries to suit most tastes. Very good walks in the nearby Bacton Woods, Pigmy Woods. I was most dismayed to see a review criticizing the wardens dogs ?? when we stay I know they only bark as new arrivals come in by way of a form of doggy greeting, not continuously.
Also the toilets always are kept topped up with soap and other neccessary items. There are sometimes sounds from the woodyard and also tractors in the fields. It is the countryside you know!
All in all a very peaceful site, with lots of birds and wildlife visiting by. A LOVELY SITE!

We are here at the moment for 2 nights a beautiful setting and welcoming owners who keep the site immaculately clean and well tended.
We have two dogs and there is a large paddock where they can be off their leads and plenty of walks to be explored.
Will definitely return here if in this area again and would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful break plenty of dog friendly pubs in mundesley as well

Good site base for exploring North Norfolk or if visiting family and friends. Quiet site (except for `wardens` dogs barking every time you drove onto the site), no road noise.
The ground is very uneven, need to take wheel levelers with you although there are some pieces of wood available to use as levelers around the site.
Toilets and showers kept clean, would be nice if a hand towel was provided to dry hands on after washing them. Good choice of shops in surrounding area. Reasonable price for what you get.

Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely site, everyone very friendly.
Forest for walking nearby. Toilet and shower basic but clean. Had our electric bikes and biked to North Walsham to have a look around and get some provisions.
Would definitely stay again especially as we have now changed to caravan and will have a car to get further afield.

We chose this site because it was adults only and stayed for four nights. We had a few problems actually finding it but once we did we were very pleased. The site was full (it being a bank holiday) but quiet. The toilets and showers are a bit basic but they were very clean. There is a large wood nearby with a network of walks and cycle paths. The road outside the site can be quite busy and not really a place to safely walk. We would revisit if in the area again.

Another stay at this lovely, peaceful site. So tranquil and perfectly situated for exploring North Norfolk. Beautiful woodland for walking our cocker spaniel - she loves it here too. Spotlessly clean showers and toilets, fresh eggs and tomatoes.
We were in the Paddock this time which was lovely with loads of space. Owners are lovely and helpful too - can't rate this site highly enough. It's definitely our 'go to' site for this area!
